This place serves great coffee, probably amongst the very, very best- if it put the same amount of effort into the food and service this would be a gold mine. The sausages in the baps were pre-cooked and of poor quality. Would return for a great coffee, but we'd eat first.

Authentic, professional and very cool. Plenty of friendly staff. Perfect coffee. Takeaway wasabi tuna + ginger baguette was £6.35 but excellent so good value. Sat next to the usual ornamental stuffed bean sacks only these are imported from South America directly by Cooper's. Treated myself to a bag of Colombian Diego Samuel and Yes! It does have fun peach and pineapple notes. Sipping now and feeling like a boss! Next time I'm on the a404, I'm heading in. Clearly lots of other people have had the same idea. Find it and love it! Ps plenty of charging points, happy to let you. Only downside: there isn't one in Oxford 😪

Visited Coopers today whilst meeting up with family. We were in Marlow, staring at the Travelodge on the industrial estate. Looking for somewhere to breakfast a quick Google search through up Coopers. Strangely, we weren’t sure the Map was right as we had walked past their unit several times without realising. We decided in the first instance to give them a go out of convenience. However, what an experience it resulted in being. We were greeted warmly despite being a large group of 8. The menu was extensive enough to cater for all tastes. Half the group plumped for the toasted sandwiches, the others decided upon the avocado and eggs. The food was exceptional, far exceeding expectation. The coffee was the perfect accompaniment, with most of the group ordering a second cup. If you are in the region at either of the neighbouring hotels give them a go, you’ll not be disappointed.

Popped in here by chance and loved the reception greeting, the Covid friendliness, the choice of food and the ambience. They were knowledgeable about the ingredients but, as with so many places, need to have a greater range of puddings for those with allergies. Soya doesn't need to be in everything that is dairy free! Having said that, I would definitely go to Coopers again as the mains are really nice.

Nice coffee and interior but wow, such an insanely rude woman on the till. Perhaps she'd had a bad day and it was a one-off but her whole manner was appalling - she was a mixture of bored and angry and seemed like she hated the customers. Almost left without my coffee. Never experienced such a hostile member of staff anywhere... and for literally no apparent reason.

Arrived in Marlow to find The coach only doing breakfast at weekends so on Friday I was directed by Marlow Green to Coopers on the globe park estate, which is open on Friday. Great system, in one door out the other - limited menu I am told on entry but go for the avocado and eggs but a choice still, sourwood, white or whole meal toast! Told where my coffee will appear and also my breakfast and given a “flying saucer” small disk which will light up when coffee is ready, breakfast ready and button to turn off lights. First young lady to speak with a mask on that I can hear and understand! At my table there is a sign ‘Please do not feed Cooper’ and I look for a bird in a cage or similar. Nothing. They I am aware as I read my newspaper of a small black head leaning on my table! I ask if Cooper can have small dog treats I carry with me and given the ok. Great service and great system but I guess because of location only open 3 days a week as the trading estate looks deserted and car park empty. Can’t wait for my next visit.

Being located on an industrial estate, it was ages before I thought to go there. But I’d got myself a new coffee machine and was googling for local fresh roasted coffee beans when this place showed up. I popped in to pick some up and I was astonished by the place. Great vibe, great food, great coffee. I’ve been there loads since, and taken friends too. Even went to an evening gig. Oh, I almost forgot. The whole reason I discovered the place was because of their freshly roasted coffee beans. I buy a kilo at a time and not bought beans from anywhere else since I found this place 2 years ago. We’re totally spoilt now. When out, it’s very rare that we get a coffee that comes close to the quality we can make at home with Cooper’s beans.

Went for lunch with the grandchildren. The teas, coffees and juices were all yummy high quality. The food was really disappointing. Two thirds of the menu contained chilli, half was based on eggs, which did not appeal. The soup of the day was curry so our choice was really limited. The vegetarian chose a pasta salad. All that was eaten was some of the pasta. The courgette tasted smothered in dill, all bitter. She said she liked red pepper but could not eat it, was it chilli? She gagged on the mozzarella too; something she would normally eat. The other chose a bacon toastie. The toast was dry, thick and hard. It could have been softened with vegan spread or olive oil but wasn’t. Quite a lot of the bacon went uneaten too, despite having ketchup. They will be really hungry long before supper.

Went for a Sunday brunch. For somewhere seemingly so hipster, it was a shame that there was no real vegan option on offer. Almost all the vegetarian dishes come with eggs and would just be overpriced and a bit basic if ordered without (mushrooms on toast etc) the only other option was £4.95 beans on toast! It’s a nice venue and I like the atmosphere but would appreciate a proper vegan option that’s not just something minus the poached eggs. The sweetcorn fritters could be a good candidate if they could be made without eggs in them.

Every time we visit Cooper's we receive great service, good wholesome food (with gluten free options) and more often than not get a chance to stroke Cooper the black Labrador after whom the coffee shop is named. My wife doesn't drink coffee but always gets a great quality green tea with a fresh slice of lemon. She's the gluten free I've and lives to have a slice of home made ( on the premises) gluten free cake. That means we both happy. Or Son works nearby and usually joins us for his lunch and a coffee. Highly recommended if you like somewhere a bit different. The shop is situated near the Marlow business park and the interior is rather retro orspit and sawdust in decor, but we like it for us uniqueness. It's very clean having used the term spit and sawdust!! For goodness sake don't let that out you off. There are a selection of seating styles from soft with low tables to bench style with cushions to individual upright onesat a variety of tables.

I went into Coopers recently, so my mum could grab a takeaway coffee. She got a standard cappuccino. The cup is miniscule (shown on photo) and the coffee tasted burnt / bitter anyway. Suuuuch a rip off, it was about £2.70. And we were served by a very unfriendly girl with no customer service whatsoever. No smile, no “I’ll be with you in a moment”. Either work on your attitude, or change your career. The male barista who served my mum her coffee was also unfriendly, and didn’t bother to show any empathy regarding the price of the coffee. That instantly will get any customer’s eyebrow raised. I think the manager’s response to another review on here is extremely rude & patronising too.

I don't often write reviews but seeing the recent posts I have felt that a different point of view would be welcome. We are frequent customers and visit this lovely place on a weekly basis and look forward to it immensely. Coopers coffee is unique, it has a sublimely smooth taste and is worth the money as is the other food and drinks available. We would be glad to pay more for this quality which you can't get in also run coffee establishments. The atmosphere in there is always very relaxed and welcoming and there is always a great mix of people in terms of age range. You could easily spend hours in there, as we often do. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and would do anything for their customers. Every time I ask for chilli flakes (which of course are not on the menu) they always provide them with a smile and don't charge me £3.50 like some Italian restaurants. The place is always full of love, happiness and laughter. And of course loads of furry animals. Cooper is one of the loveliest dogs we have ever met and in all the years we've been going to Coopers we have never seen any problems. Like people, dogs sometimes don't like every dog...But that's not a reason to give such a bad review to this truly awesome place. I could not recommend this place more highly, maybe some people have swallowed a grumpy pill due to this heat..And I'm glad that this place is always full of happy people and the grumpy ones enjoy their buckets of brown liquid pretending to be coffee in their favourite establishments.Keep up the good work Coopers team and see you very soon!

When I first visited Coopers I made the mistake of asking for my Starbucks favourite-a Carmel macchiato. They were very polite (not at all condescending) and explained they didn't make flavoured coffee. On their suggestion I took a Mocha and suddenly realised what I have been missing in my usual grab and go beverage. This is REAL coffee made by real Baristas! I've been back many many times. Sometimes with my laptop to do a little work in a relaxed atmosphere, we've had a delicious brunch with the kids, I've had meetings there. I've grabbed take out before a long drive in those fabulous cups that will break down in landfill. I've never felt the place to be anything other than filled with great staff and people of all ages with a passion for great coffee enjoyed as it's meant to be. That and some great locally sourced and freshly made food all at a price less than you will pay at any of the chains.

What I wasn't expecting was to be charged £2.60 for an ordinary coffee to takeaway that came in the smallest plastic cup imaginable. It must have only been barely 200ml. As we were in Marlow today, me and my mum took our schnauzer to the supposedly dog friendly Coopers Trading Company. At a glance the interior is nicely quirky, and I went in with expectations of a some good food and a cold drink. The food in the fridge wasn't particularly enticing, so we moved to the counter to see if the hot food was any better. The food, while definitely overpriced, was a good enough quality, although the eggs my mum had were definitely overdone, a little more hardboiled than poached. The real issue came with the resident dog, Cooper. A large, black lab, he looked calm enough, and seeing as the café describes itself as dog friendly I was more than happy to take our dog over to say hello. Cooper lunged aggressively at our dog, teeth bared and barking. Aside from the fact that this was entirely unexpected, it was also mildly uncomfortable for the rest of the customers, as well as very disconcerting for us. After ordering we sat down, ate our food, chatted and got some water for our dog. Once we had finished, Cooper and potentially his owner, along with one of the members of staff came over to give Cooper a drink in the only water bowl in the café. Here again he lunged, even more aggressively at our dog who was sat right by my legs at the time. Now, I'm a fully grown woman with absolutely no fear of dogs whatsoever, yet understandably this left me a little shaken. Can you imagine if I'd been a small child out with their parent and their dog and this had happened? An experience such as this would be traumatising. In all honesty, I probably wouldn't have even considered writing this review if we'd be provided with any kind of apology. The incident wasn't acknowledged by any of the staff or the dog's owner, with no apology or even an "are you okay?" Overall a very sour tinge left over the entire experience, and I absolutely wouldn't recommend Cooper's to anyone. Might even go as far to warn them off if they were considering taking their dog, or small child, to this establishment.

Forget motorway service stations: go off the M40 to Coopers and think for a moment you are in a very cool American film. Warehouse styled with long wooden tables and some comfy sofas.Staff are friendly, coffee great, atmosphere completely laid back . Love it.

Located on an industrial estate surrounded by offices and small industrial units, Coopers is like an oasis. Inside it has an industrial feel but that hasn't put off the crowds that flock here. The food is simple but delicious and the coffee is wonderful. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to be welcoming. It's now a firm favourite destination for a Sunday morning stroll or bike ride.

We've popped here a few times for brunch and have never been disappointed. The layout is funky without being pretentious. A massive refectory table is brilliant for big groups and families. There are plenty of spaces for couples too. The menu is not enormous but has plenty of choices for everyone, including vegetarians who don't want to feel left out on "full English" day! I come here for the coffee and always take away a bag of the house blend which is freshly ground for you. I think this is the best place for a laid back Sunday experience in Marlow.

I do not get time to take a coffee and cake break during the week but as it happened Wednesday was the day to go back to Coopers. I had a delicious banana based cake which although a bit heavy was a good eat. As always the coffee was lovely. I have done the Friday evening live music evenings a number of times and can recommend the vibe for a good time out.

We have been many times. The reason for our repeated custom was the excellent quality of the coffee and food including the pastries and cooked breakfast. The one downside has always been the waiting time - the service has never been swift. However, one accepted this to a certain extent as everything else was very good. Far superior to most other establishments in the local area. That was until recently. We have been twice very recently. Most recently was within the last week (end of Jan)!! It was appalling. The service was much slower and rude. The coffee was ok and we were served two at least day old(maybe two days old) stale pastries. When we informed the staff, we were met with a rather surprising rude and unapologetic stance. We were then served cold dry toast and frozen butter! Not impressed. Moreover this was so disappointing for a place that I would once recommend to others to go for breakfast or brunch. So much so that we will not be returning. Unfortunately, early success seems to have led to complacency. The loss will be our custom.

Visited on a Saturday morning after the gym. I had the breakfast special. Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon with capers. It was delicious and I will be back next week.

This has been a long time favourite - be it for coffee or a great Friday evening of live music and food. It has been a great place to meet friends for a relaxed fun evening. We visited recently again for the first time in a while - what a let down !!! An evening of jazz ( which was at best average as the singer and guitarist looked daggers at each other) and discovered that the menu had gone pretentious (is this an influence from now opening Riverlight in Bourne End?). Gone is the Mighty Luke's Burger and in its place ..... gravlax drowned in honey mustard that was in edible as the mustard killed the fish, a daal dish that was an expensive vegetable stew with no texture and a naan bread that was in parts raw dough. We will give it another try but will check the menu before going . Hopefully the simple , relaxed , down to earth and non pretentious Coopers will return , it is what made it special

Went with a friend for a chat and coffee. We decided to have a bacon Ciabata. Wow really really good and not what I was expecting. Excellent coffee, quirky ambience and well worth a visit.

Such a friendly place to drop in after a long walk with the dog. The local dog, Cooper, welcomes you also. Great coffee and a nice croissant. It's a warehouse design but very informal and fun.

Coffee not well made and in a very small cup. My friend had a tea and wanted some extra milk and was charged 30p extra for a drop of milk. It was very noisy with small kids running everywhere and screaming, not a place for a relaxing drink.

Popped into Coopers and had a very relaxing coffee and was amazed at their selection of gluten free goodies. Not just the obligatory one , pre packed brownie but numerous choices of freshly baked cakes and biscuits.Very friendly and attentive staff and a very good atmosphere .I would recommend the hot chocolate, even that comes in four different types. I had white chocolate mmmmmm nice.Unfortunately I didn't have the coffee but the smell of the roasting beans, which they do at the end of the restaurant , was gorgeous.I will be returning soon.

Service was good, atmosphere was great, food was a little pricey, but definately check out the expensive wine list before you book. £48 for a bottle of prosecco!!
