Bought chopped herring there last Sunday It was awful Looked and tasted like egg mayonnaise Won't be buying that again.

I have visited Coopers on a number of occasions now for their bagels and sandwiches. These are freshly made, taste great and are very good value for money! What's not to like? The staff are also friendly and helpful, and the premises clean and well stocked. Can't fault it!

Never been before but will definitely go again all the deli food looked delicious I bought bagels and some chopped herring it was very tasty and the staff were very friendly and helpful

Best bagels around. I would go as far as saying best bagels I have had, and that includes the ones in New York (eek, bold claim indeed!). Other food is excellent there too - there's always a queue so you can tell this place is awesome! The lovely folks there will explain everything if you are nervous. I need to go back and try more things. I shall report back!

The tastiest bagels and the loveliest staff!

The bagels are so delicious, the salted beef brisket was so good, the egg and onion was creamy and the staff couldn't do enough for us. It was a superb experience from start to finish.

This is a deli in the Jewish community of North Manchester. Such a great Deli with lots of fresh salad stuff. I usually go to ne in Cheshire but they were depleated of stock. I am not Jewish but have a taste for the great salads they make. I just came to stock up on bagels and egg & onion & the fish balls. All of them were lovely. The sign of a goid place is the queue outside. Very efficient staff who knew what they were doing and the queue moved quickly. Will visit again, it's a trek for me but worth it!

If you’re not Jewish don’t bother, they literally didn’t acknowledge my presence and went on to serve people who came in after me lol. I will not be returning.

Bagles Bagles Bagles, the Sunday special is amazing and great value. You get 6 bagles, and 1 tub each of, egg mayo, cream cheese & tuna mayo, and a slice of salmon.

1st time at this deli. Went on a sunday for the sunday special deal, paid £5.50. Received 6 fresh bagels, 1 pot of egg mayonaise, tuna mayonaise, cream cheese and 1 packet of salmon. To be honest I thought the size of the pots weren't enough for 6 bagels but it was the perfect amount. Egg mayonaise is smooth and creamy. Tuna mayonaise was creamy and not to overpowering of fish. Cream cheese was nice and the salmon was fishy and salty. Perfect combination. Will definitely comeback and try their bagel sandwiches.

Sunday routine of going for fresh Sunday bagels for breakfast reminds me of when I was a kid and all other shops were closed on a Sunday apart from the Jewish bakery. Nice bagels, expect a queue on a Sunday morning but they are efficient and queue moves quickly

Fancied a toasted bagel 🥯 but not that rubbish you get in a supermarket. So I dropped in one Sunday on my way to heaton Park. I can honestly say it is a regular thing know everything I buy from bagels 🥯 to fillings is spot on all home cooked a really friendly welcoming atmosphere with a delicious deli counter give it a go you won't be disappointed.

Sunday 27.09.2020. I hadn't been in Cooper's, "Let's Fress" since the lockdown. We are of that certain age and have had to be extremely cautious, (health wise) when out, even having our groceries delivered. Having said that, this morning, I was out for bagels at Cooper's for the first time and I have to say I could not have felt safer. Rather than customers being appowed to simply do their own thing, (which they often do), the proprieter, "Richard," was clearly, politely and eagerly directing those same customers where to stand, where to move to - he was keeping both his staff and his customers as safe as possible. As far as I'm concerned, it's a "no brainer," - you'll shop where you feel safe. I wish I could have filmed my 5 minute experience, it would have set the bar for all. Well done everyone !

Good food and friendly service

Always been my favourite bagels, but the quality of pretty much everything else has noticeably fallen over the years. Each time I try any filler (egg+onion, chopped liver, herring etc.) it's more watered down than the time before. Bread items quite often underdone, stick to bagels and get fillings elsewhere would be my suggestion.

I recall the lovely nosh being delivered to a friend's years ago. I wish it were in Nottingham as I would be a regular habituee. I invented the term 'fressy' based on the name of this deli. Askhenazi delights are the stuff of my foodie fantasies. 😋😋 Tasty bagels topped with scrumptious ready made toppings in tubs, tailor made for can cook won't cook folks like me.

Got breakfast there Sunday asked for 2 medium chopped liver and was very disappointed with it wasn't the chopped liver from counter was brought from back of shop could not taste any liver and was mostly egg

Never used there service but it doesnt say much for the manners of the staff when they park there Van's blocking all of the pavement forcing people to walk on a very busy including myself with a 6 week old baby. There is plenty of room to fit them without blocking off the curb they obviously just dont care

I genuinely preferred the bagels here to bagels I had in NYC (Russ and daughters). Honestly, once I start looking at buying a house, this deli will be a massive factor. These bagels are worth travelling for.

Me and my husband have very recently moved to the Manchester area and were absolutely delighted to discover this wonderful deli, full of beautifully homemade food. I was over the moon to find out that they deliver and today received the most wonderful box full of the most delicious food, so much so we will be having a weekly delivery. The bagels are just perfection, and we’ve just had the most delicious dinner of bbq meatballs and perfect roast potatoes, followed by cheesecake. We also had delicious chopped liver, egg and onion and yummy lemon drizzle cake delivered. The food is totally first class but the icing on the cake is the wonderful, warm, friendly people who delivered it. I could eat them too ☺️

Good old fashioned Jewish deli which is better known locally as Coopers. They offer a fantastic delicatessen counter as well as a great selection of cured meat and fish. Bagels also on offer. Great place for a lunch; healthy and actually cheaper than the supermarket in many cases. Solid deli.

Small kosher deli, with a good range of food. Friendly service and a focal point for the community, especially on Sunday morning when it's bagel time.
