Fantastic community cafe - really friendly, terrific coffee and excellent food. Pre-pandemic I often made use of the high speed wifi to work away from the home office for an hour or two and will start doing so again now that seating is open again.

Need to put the table inside the door not out on the pavement. The people queuing for coffee & chatting aren't very socially distanced and are preventing other pavement users from passing safely & seem to be complely oblivious to the fact. I did not stop & will not try again!

One tasty breakfast. I go here about once a month and it is consistently excellent. Nothing touches it locally - simple, quality ingredients, well-cooked, great coffee and friendly staff. I reckon if they smartened up their frontage they would significantly increase their trade. That said, it is always steadily busy mostly with repeat customers. I'm happy to offer an unconditional recommendation even if it makes being served in future more of a struggle. They deserve it.

We regularly come to Coolangatta for brunch or coffee and cake. The food is fresh and tasty. I would recommend the BLT and my husband enjoys the Full Nelson. The coffee is great and the brownies and carrot cake delicious. A bit tight for space if you have a buggy at busy times but doesn’t stop me trying!

The Boy was away on a sleepover and it was Saturday morning when normally we are here there and everywhere for school sports etc. So The Wife decided that she wanted to take The Daughter and I out to brekkie at Coolangatta Cafe. On the weekend there is free parking in the streets nearby. When we got in there were plenty of table available (however by the time we left it was full and a cue for takeaways which shows how popular it is). The pictures of the food we had speak for themselves and the sourdough bread is to die for. I believe everything is locally sourced and yummy. Highly recommended!

Lovely spot for breakfast on a weekend. Staff amazing with the kids and a great fry up. Worth the few quid more than other local alternatives

Was attending physio at the Nelson Hospital across the road and came across this gem of a cafe. Great service, eggs poached beautifully on sourdough bread . Very good coffee. It is so lovely to feel welcome in a cafe unhurried and really good well sourced food. Short menu plus special soup of the day and Frittata of the day. A bit more expensive than your normal cafe but worth every penny. Wifi and magazines to read It is a shame it is not in Wimbledon Town but I am sure the locals love it if they have found it !

Small coffee bar in Kingston Road, a gem and we very much needed a place like this one with all the lovely Aussie spirit. 2nd visit and again another great experience and great food, all served in a very friendly way. Highly recommended!!! Only one very small positive criticism to help only: make better provisions so it doesn't happen that before 10am you run out of croissants in a coffee restaurant. Other than that EXCELLENT guys. I will keep coming

I have been to this place a few times, either to grab a coffee and go or stay for breakfast. I loved it, coffee quality is really nice and breakfast menu is simple but delicious. I would come back again without hesitation.

Had a dreadful food experience at a cafe nearby so decide on the spur of the moment to pop in for coffee here. We saw a plate of a love,y looking cooked breakfast and decided to try the sweet potato and coconut soup, one with bread, the other with a cheese toastie. We both agreed the soup was delicious as was the bread. The toastie had a good texture with a tasty cheese filling. We liked that they gave you an ice cold bottle of water without having to ask, the service was friendly and the atmosphere good. Toilets were clean which is always a good sign. Definitely going back.

I've just been to Coolangatta Cafe. I saw it from outside and it looked really good, so decided to go in for breakfast. After changing my order because they had ran out of salmon (it's normal, these things happen), I decided to order a frittata that was already made... and a latte. My latte took about 10 minutes to come, which I understood as they were quite busy at the moment. Then, I had to wait for another 40 minutes for my frittata to arrive. It only did because I reminded one of the members of staff on site and then saw her taking the frittata from the counter, putting it in a plate and bringing it to me. I asked her to warm it a a bit and her answer was that it was already warm. It WASN'T. Not at all. She came after a while and asked if everything was fine and when my answer was that the frittata was cold, her answer was to say a quick sorry and leave... I'm sorry to say this, but I had high expectations on this place when I saw it and got completely disappointed. I won't be coming back, neither will I recommend it...

I stumbled upon this family run cafe by accident and it is utterly remarkable. With a diverse, financially reasonable and delicious menu and writers writing all around, it is a great place to eat. If you want somewhere to become a regular, make it this place!

The Woodman is a delightful pub that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed drink or a hearty meal. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you step inside. The pub's menu offers a good selection of classic pub fare, all prepared to a high standard and at reasonable prices. The fish and chips are particularly noteworthy, with crispy batter and flaky fish. The real ales are well-kept, and the wine list offers a decent selection for those who prefer a glass of something more refined. The pub's interior is cozy and traditional, with plenty of comfortable seating areas, including a lovely outdoor terrace for those warmer days. The decor is tasteful and reflects the pub's namesake, the renowned artist and designer William Morris. Whether you're looking for a quick pint after work or a leisurely meal with friends, The Woodman is an excellent choice. It's a reliable and enjoyable pub that consistently delivers a positive experience.
