Good quality burgers and fried chicken. Their beef burgers are really nice and generous portions. However, it's worth noting if you order it through Uber Eats when they have the buy 1 get 1 free offer, the patty tends to be smaller than usual. The chicken burger is also very nice. Crispy, flavoursome and nice size. Their lab sauce is a nice addition so be sure not to miss it. The chicken lab chips are very nice and compliment the burgers well. However, their Beef lab chips are disappointing. They literally just cut a smash burger patty in half and put it on top of chips. Their chicken chunks are also a good choice. Nice little snack.

Ordered for the first time last week and was impressed with the service and how fantastic all the food tasted. Burgers were cooked to perfection, the lab chips were amazing! Will be ordering from here again soon.

Ordered for the first time on Friday night as the menu had so many delicious looking choices. We ordered a chicken burger, a beef burger, 2 lab fries, a butter chicken taco, and a chopped beef taco. We were also kindly given one of their new burgers to try on the house! Everything was cooked to PERFECTION! The burgers were juicy and full of flavour, the lab sauce on the fries is an absolute game changer, and the tacos...well, I wish we'd ordered more! The staff are really friendly and helpful and to top it off everything was freshly cooked and ready to collect in a timely manner. Our new favourite burger spot for sure!

I've ordered from here before and it was nice. Today the food was terrible. The double beef burger was overcooked. The chicken burger was ordered but the sauce didn't taste like garlic parm like it was meant to. The fries were overcooked and hollow inside. Overall, was really disappointed as have heard very good things about Cookin Lab and previous order was nice.

Hands down the best street food locally, we tried tacos, the lab chicken burger and lab fries! All of the food was exceptional but the lab fries were honestly 11/10! Great food, the owner even threw in free wings to try !

Ordered the double beef box meal on Uber eats, didn’t receive any sauces with the meal to go with the salty dry soggy chips. (Sauces was mentioned included in the meal). The burger was too salty couldn’t taste anything other than salt. Poor taste poor food

Amazing burger bar, very freiendly service this guy knows how to make a superb burger that was cooked to perfection. Far better than 5 guys or Wendys. Also tried one of the Orieo cake pots which are like heaven in a pot. 5 Stars doesnt do this place justice ill 100% be going back soon.

Ordered a double beef burger, chicken burger and lab fries. Was my first time ordering so wanted a mix of safe things, had a nice chat with the guy working there who was really helpful and he gave me some honey sriracha chicken bites to try too. Must say all the food was amazing and will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Excellent service with excellent food, cannot go wrong with this place.

Order from Uber eats a couple of days ago and become obsessed. Absolutely delicious burgers, and don’t even get me started on their fried chicken taco 😋😋😋😋. Went there in person for the first time and their staff were so nice and interactive and held amazing conversations. 100/10 coming back again🤍

Such a hidden gem in the middle of Romford. The burgers and loaded fries are amazing. The bun is slightly big but still tasted amazing. The chicken bites were also a good shout. No seating area so you have to be prepared to take your food home or eat in the car.

It does not look like much from the outside but we took a chance. An OH MY! Chips are skin on and crisp to perfection. The burger was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Says it closes at midnight but the shopping centre closes well before that so you cannot even get to the place…

One word, specf**kingtacular, fried chicken burger perfect, The lab sauce to die for, and paid for wings which they unfortunately ran out of but they replaced them with tenders which were out of this world, 10/10 highly recommend, defo will be going back, the guys in there know what they are doing

Wanted a wrap but they ran out of wraps and tacos. Dips literally dipped from the menu. Food was peak mid. Just go to Chicos instead

I travelled accross London to try this restaurant and it was excellent! The food was just like in the pictures and the service was friendly. The guy cleaned his hands and i like that because im a germaphobe. If they open a branch in West London, im in trouble!

The best burger I have ever had! The meat was so juicy and flavourful, the sauce was so nice nothing like I’ve had before, so full of flavour. I would recommend and me and my boyfriend always go here!

Amazing fresh, hot food. It was so delicious, I got the veggie patty with grilled halloumi. There was a lot of good vegetarian options and the price was actually alright considering what they served (with a large varied menu, from meals to sides, milkshakes and dessert). My friends got chicken tacos and they also said the meat options are good. Perfect customer service - patient staff. The portions were on the smaller side and the food took a little longer than expected but we ordered a lot so expected and there was no where to sit though.

We stumbled across this place a few days ago and are so glad we did. There aren’t a ton of non-chain options in town, but this one would be front of the pack even in a crowded market. Super nice staff — and the fried chicken is the best I’ve found since moving to London from Tennessee (where fried chicken is kind of a religion).

A boxed beef double burger, with Lab fries and a drink. I have enjoyed this meal very much. The customer service is excellent and the food is absolutely brilliant.

I would highly recommend it!!! The atmosphere here is great, and much variety is available on the menu. Our meals were so tasty, we will definitely be going back.... The staff were very polite and pleasant, one of the young ladies was a big hit with my daughters as she helped us to decide on our choices, and they were speaking about the cool decor and all the different artwork!

Missed my item on previous order and called to fix the issue in this current order and the person thinks I am lying. Poor service and deciding to give it another try with different items but everything was horrible. 🤢 I was also charged extra for a sauce when the description says it is included.

Would say it's slipped a lot since we first ordered with them. Aside from the very high price point of it coming in at £42 for 2 double chicken burger meals on Uber Eats, the chips for the last few orders have tasted so bland. I don't know what's missing but whatever they've changed it's just nowhere near as good.

This has been our go-to takeaway place for about a year now. Ordered almost everything on the menu and there's nothing we don't like. Labs chips are a must. My favourite chicken flavour is the lemon - a bit of an acquired taste but I love them, very different to anything you'll find elsewhere. Will keep ordering as long as they remain open!

Visited on a busy Friday evening and ordered a selection of their wings which were all fresh and of the highest quality. The crispy batter coat on these wings is amongst the best I've ever had with a delicious crunchy texture. Portions were great value for money with a great selection of glazes to choose from! Don't forget to try the fresh donuts from here, especially the white chocolate topped ones as these were something special. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, providing a very high quality service. It won't be long before I'm back to sample more of the menu.

By far the best place around! The flavouring is something else here! I will be definitely making it a regular place to eat out!

Game changing burgers. Got the lab beef single with mozzarella 👌🏼🍔 The patty slapped, the bun with the relish and pickles slapped, the mozzarella was a top addition. Got to try the Nutella donut which was a gorgeous little number. Only regret not going with a more empty stomach as the wings, fries and chicken burger all looked top 🤩 Staff were friendly, will definitely be making the journey back soon to sample the rest of the menu

Brothers, i ordered 2 chicken burgers and they were burnt, as in black, really disappointed. You could've cooked new burgers or replaced the burnt buns at the very least. These burgers are expensive, you cannot serve me burnt food for a £11-14 simple chicken burger. Lab chicken chips also barely had any chicken inside. Pretty unfair service especially for the price i had to pay. Come on guys. I'll be waiting to hear your response to this review as soon as you can.

Brilliant service and amazing food. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Had the burger box and the fries are amazing 😍 not to mention the doughnuts. When we ordered the doughnuts wasn’t ready so they offered to drop them to our office when they had them ready which was very kind and not like most places would offer. They even gave us a couple of free drinks. Thank you and will defo be back xx

What a wicked place to come and eat!!! The food is unreal. We chowed down on their chicken bites, grilled wings and oh my gosh the "Chopped beef taco" is OFF the charts!!! Not to mention the place is cool AF and the owners are so, so lovely. If your like me and you Löve a cheeky condiment their selection of homemade sauces are the one!!! Corriander Mayo "hello". Highly recommend the wings!! We had hot ranch glaze and honey sriracha both spot on. The fried chicken taco really hit the spot for my pregnant cousins cravings. I ordered the loaded fries which was also spot on but the wings filled me up too much! They also kindly gave us wings with lab sauce on for free, which is also very nice. Its in a hidden spot but worth finding. A lovely couple who was really accommodating to my cousins needs.

5 stars for consistent high quality of the smashed burgers and chicken. It's better quality than certain chains that arrived here and it's by a local company more than punching above their weight.

Great service! Baksha was a superhero tonight after Uber eats messed up our order and didn’t send the full thing through to the Lab. Our missing burger box was cooked quickly, and missing Milkshake replaced by a cake pot. We were then compensated with extra chicken (in picture) and she brought us all the sauces and drinks that were missing from the order.

Baksha was a star!! There were some issues with the UberEats order and she sorted it all out, went above and beyond for us, and gave us lots of freebies. Good quality food with huge portions too.

Saw a review from Food Review Club speaking highly of Cookin Lab so thought I would give it a go. It's a small place tucked away in the Quadrant Arcade however the sticker bombed front makes it really stand out and hard to miss. It's has an American themed menu with Mexican & Japanese inspiration and a fusion of different flavour profiles from BBQ to Sriracha to corriander mayo, like experementing in a lab. So I ordered fried thigh box in a lemon & pepper glaze which was crispy with a pleasent tang. The fries were seasoned in paprika which were nice and got two dips which I chose their lab sauce and katsu mayo. The lab sauce is essentially their take on a burger sauce without gherkins / pickles so no harsh tartness while on the other hand the katsu mayo sauce is simply amazing, a strong curry scent with a subtle curry taste so doesn't make it over the top to blend the mayo with there tons of glazes. Also came with a drink which I got a kool aid tropical pouch (looks like a capri sun) and all that for £10 which I feel is fairly priced for the quality of food your getting. I also tried there lotus biscoff milkshake which speaks for itself just a great tasting milkshake and again fairly priced at £5. Overall it personally exceeded my expectations which I am happy with and would recommend.

When I tell you this place is the SPOT, I think and dream about it daily. I always get the honey sriracha chicken chunks meal, I always want to try something new but I’m addicted to these. The service is immaculate, The workers are very kind, always handing the food with smiles and are very patient and kind when I’m ordering. The flavours they have are very unique, different and huge list of flavours/dips that you can’t find elsewhere. Price and time is worth it! P.S try their milkshakes! Me and my partner got the Oreo milkshake thinking yeah it’s just a standard Oreo milkshake let’s get it then we tried it at the same and looked at each other and said “damn..” WAY better than other places. my favourite thing about this place was the fresh fries, please don’t stop doing these 🥲 I hate the frozen type ones! So I glad I found a regular spot that does freshly cut ones. They offer both grilled or fried options which is amazing because me and my partner sometimes feeling fried and other times feeling healthier and want grilled but we still get to enjoy the same delicious flavours either way - never seen a place with so much variety honestly!

Been here twice now. They have some of the best smash burgers out there. Absolute beautiful. Their Lab fries rival Five Guys but I'd ask to lower the salt. I haven't tried anything else on the menu but worth every penny!

Such great food. Burgers are great, fries are great, the cauliflower is AWESOME! Such a gem in Romford, reminds me of some of the food I ate in LA. Highly recommend.
