Average food, poor service. Server very antsy about us leaving our table even though was 15 minutes left of our 1.5 hour reservation time. Bill was brought with incorrect items twice, first bill included 8 mains for a four person table - it’s disappointing the server didn’t check this prior to waving the card machine in front of us. More finesse needed from the serving staff.

Server was unable to answer questions about food and seemed bothered to help us. Between ordering drinks took ages for our food order to be taken. Also the prawn tempura was made poorly- head and shells included- made again minus shell but head was kept on. Very atypical of standard tempura. Japanese heritage so was dumbfounded. Also miso aubergine was not well balanced, was too sharp and very little miso flavour.

Came for family lunch with children, to celebrate a special event. Was very dissapointed to find out that there are no baby changing facilities. The staff was shrugging us off and some didn't even know whether there are baby changing facilities at all. From a very joyful mood coming to celebrate anniversary, it quickly was turned into pretty sour. Don't know if we'd consider returning again...

I’ve enjoyed coming here for years with family, work colleagues and friends but today made me re-think. We booked a table for three and two of our party had already been sat at completely different tables. They had never met so didn’t realise they were there for 20 mins without meeting. Forward an hour of good service and it took us 15 minutes to get the attention of anyone to get the bill and one of our party had to walk to the front desk. We then had the bill literally thrown at our table. Very petty. Poor service and then I waited for sometime for someone to come and take our payment. Incredibly rude manners from the front of house, lots of staff never making eye contact and it’s really not that great a place to have to do so much of the running around myself. Not sure I will go back. Grind - you’ve lost your way.

Coffee machine was broken on arrival so had to have filter (would have gone elsewhere had we just been notified via email/text that the machine was broken). Coffee machine subsequently fixed (only told after we asked). Coffee arrived once we were almost finished eating after we had inquired when it would arrive, and we were told that there was a backlog due to everyone ordering - no apology or even acknowledgment how this would affect our breakfast experience.

Good food, excellent service from our waitress but we booked the counter and got shoved onto some dodgy counter top facing a wall, between the toilets and the takeaway section, not at the main counter at all and didn’t feel part of the restaurant . Not what we booked and when we asked to be moved, front of house refused. If we had been a walk in I would accept the crappy table but I booked 4 days in advance so overall not impressed.

The food is good, but overpriced. However, we had a table booked for 90 minutes, which was tight, and we were asked to vacate 10 minutes early. We hadn't finished and we had only had 65 minutes of the allowed 90 minutes bottomless brunch. Certainly no time to look at a desert. We felt very pressured to leave, and when we objected about the bottomless time we were given drinks in takeaway cups. Just so disappointing, we won't return

Met a colleague for coffee / brunch on a pre-booked table. There were lots of tables free so I moved to an identical table one over to give the couple next to me a bit more space / privacy. Incredibly rude server came over and said she’d need to “check with one of the hosts if i was allowed to move”. All the tables around me were free (and remained free for the entire time we were there). She came back and without acknowledging the earlier conversation managed to clean the table in a fairly passive aggressive manner (who knew that was even possible!) The person who came to take our order drinks order was lovely. After chatting with my colleague for a bit I ordered food. It literally arrived in under 5 minutes but the poached eggs were stone cold. Decided not to complain in view of the attitude of the server to that point. My colleague ordered an orange juice that never turned up and had to be reordered. She had barely drunk it before the rude server came over with a bill and payment machine (unasked for) and asked us to settle the bill as the booking was over. We paid and as we were were preparing to go she came back over and told us she needed the table back now. Every table around us was empty and literally no-one was waiting to be seated. Shame as it’s a convenient place to meet but I won’t be going back.

We were served by a lady who seemed extremely stressed and overwhelmed - we asked her if she was ok as it was obvious she was struggling. We ordered our food and said we wanted the bottomless prosecco, unfortunately, the food arrived but we hadn't even been served out first glass of prosecco and 15 minutes had passed (which we were paying for). We reminded our server that we still hadn't received prosecco, to which she didn't respond but ran off, so we assumed she was going to get us some glasses - unfortunately, another 10 minutes passed and still no prosecco - by this point we were almost half way through our food too, which was not ideal. Our server eventually came with glasses and some prosecco and said she'd add 10 minutes of time to our brunch (despite waiting half an hour by this point for 1 glass of prosecco) - but we accepted and thanked her. Each time she came to refill us, she'd pour the prosecco so chaotically it would splash my friend every time, soak the table, fill the condiment pots of ketchup and mayonnaise with prosecco, to the point we couldn't use them. We gave her this feedback nicely as my friend was visibly wet, and rather than apologise she ran off and threw a pile of tissues on top of the table onto our food plates. We did tell the manager about this experience when we were coming to the end of our brunch, who did sincerely apologise and offer us another glass of prosecco each. Overall, it was a really disappointing experience - I had really high hopes, as the reviews were excellent and the location was perfect as we'd both travelled from Brighton for the day. Any compensation/acknowledgement of this review would be much appreciated.

i’m talking about the milano airport malpensa one. The manager was disrespectful and he started lying him and his colleague. they didn’t want to give us a four people table just because we were only three, we needed a seat to put 6 bags while we would be eating. Once we were seated, One of the managers came and told us not to, telling us to take a baby seat to put SIX BAGS !!! we then wanted to talk to another manager and he told us there was no one else exept him, we later on spotted another manager , we kindly explained him the situation while the first manager was talking to him in another language. He laughed at us 2 times and the second manager was defending his colleague without letting us talk. we asked for an email address to write down a complaint, he told us there was no phone number and no email address when well, there’s even a place where to write feedbacks. I have videos as proofs and we exactly know which one they are. the first manager, at the end started being provocative toward me as if he wanted to fight. when we left he made a disrespectful “ bye bye “ sign. We had pre-booked this restaurant having had previous recommendations. Our teens are quite adventurous eaters in general and do like tapas/mezze style but hadn’t specifically tried N African food before. We were seated and orders taken quickly. We had a platter starter alongside some chicken wings and batata harra - all good. We had a range of mains including grilled meat and fish and all enjoyed our meals. The only slight negative was an over-confident young male waiter who didn’t write down our order and forgot one thing - this was quickly remedied when we asked another member of staff. We would definitely come to Comptoir Libanais again - a good and interesting range of food, a casual dining atmosphere and suited our needs well.

Our order was taken promptly enough, but the drinks never arrived. First one meal, then another finally arrived, but still no drinks. The waiter seemed perplexed but found them…waiting somewhere, I guess, because they arrived quickly once he went to look. I kinda wished he hadn’t found them. My Aperol spritz tasted like a very expensive Sprite with a healthy dash of bitters—if there was any alcohol at all in there, I couldn’t tell. Having enjoyed good Aperol spritzes in many restaurants and countries as well as my own home, I’m mystified as to how it’s possible to mess one up except with really inferior ingredients. But that was better than the chicken tagine, which was rubbery chicken apparently microwaved with some kind of cheap cooking sauce. There was none of the complex spice profile and tenderness one usually associates with tagines. We never saw any waitstaff again once the food and drinks had been plonked down. No one cared whether we needed anything, were enjoying our food, would like some water or dessert. I had to track someone down to get the bill. What was supposed to be an enjoyable last meal in London was pretty joyless. Definitely off our list for our next visit.

I was really looking forward to this meal, having been to the one in Leeds, however it was disappointing from beginning to end. Firstly, the staff had no record of our booking, despite us showing them our confirmation email. Fortunately, after a lengthy discussion between themselves, they managed to seat us - due to a ‘no show’ otherwise i don’t know what would have happened. After being seated, we were sat waiting for 15 mins with no one coming to take our drinks order, so i had to call them over. We then waited an hour for our food to come, all of which came out in dribs and drabs and not together. My husband’s food was cold, they forgot my eldest son’s bread and then totally forgot my youngest son’s meal, which we had to wait a further 10 minutes for. The staff were apologetic, but unfortunately this wasn’t good enough.

Booked in to get an early (pre-show) dinner. Reservation was for 6:15 on a Saturday. Arrived at 6:10 but was made to wait outside (not great weather but not excessively wet) for about 10 minutes and a further 5 minutes inside before any staff members spoke with us. When we were taken to our table, the staff member walking with us stopped twice to take instructions from other diners at their tables. We did notice that virtually all of the wait staff had lanyards with "visitor" written on them, so its quite likely that we came on a night where most regular/experienced staff had called out, and thus they were trying to do the best they could with new floor staff - who knows. The staff themselves were cordial, but not particularly friendly or welcoming (which couldn't be expected given how backed up they were.) Food was fairly good (we had the veggie mezze platter), and its a good price for such a central location. Tables were a bit small and crowded though, making sharing a platter rather difficult.

I had previously used this chain when they had their outlet at Gatwick Airport, but unfortunately, it was a victim of Covid-19. We were keen to be able to re-visit one of their restaurants, to see if it was all as we remembered. The branch at London Bridge is right outside of the station and is quite large. Their breakfast trade is limited, I suspect. This does not mean that they had nothing to offer, far from it! The staff were attentive and took our drinks order immediately, whilst leaving us to peruse the menu. We ordered three choices from their breakfast menu and they all turned up together, shortly after. Some very tasty food and well cooked, was our unanimous opinion, and we very much enjoyed the quality and the presentation of the food. The only thing I would comment upon is that we asked for some tap water, which was served tepid, which was not terribly palatable. Otherwise, all good, and we shall be vising here, or another of their restaurants again, sometime in the future.

I am not joking, although it's ok to laugh: I have very poor mental health and a low desire to exist most days - the food here genuinely made me feel alive and a desire to remain alive for the first time in a while. It was so so tasty and fresh. The waitress was really kind and helpful. I do hope the owner/manager appreciates the work of their staff and the reality that without them there would be no business. I say this simply because I've worked in hospitality most of my life and am familiar with how staff are often mistreated/taken advantage of - usually financially. Please remember - whoever you are - you own nothing and have no business without them. Pay them fairly their wages and tips, feed them, pay them respect and don't forget that the greatest business investment is in your staff. Booked for breakfast and although the staff were lovely I thought that the overall experience was pretty poor. I ordered baked eggs and they were thoroughly cooked through rather than runny - which is how they are normally prepared - with a really hard topping. I had about two pieces of chirizo in the sauce and overall it was a pretty poor dish. My chai latte was rather grainy in consistency. I ordered two and my second was plunked down rather unceremoniously with cinnamon heaped on a pile on top and all over the saucer. My colleague who I was breakfasting with asked for an orange juice - twice - it never appeared. We also were interrupted several times by the staff with drinks orders that we didn't make.

First, our booking didn't show up on their system so we were sat somewhere completely different. The way the guy told us that it hadn't shown up was as if it was my fault and not the systems. No apology. Then, we ordered our drinks. Two almond Chai Lattes. Laughable how small they were and the taste was... Lacking. Almost tasted like almond milk with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Not much else. We then got given two glasses of tap water. Not so lovely since one of them had purple lipstick still stuck on the side. We pushed it away and when the waiter came over to ask if it was ours we said it was still stained. He took it, said thanks and never arrived with a new glass. We were also told we would have to move at some point if we wanted to stay longer than 50 minutes, as there was a party of 20 arriving. That was fine, but if my booking had shown up on their system we would have been at a normal table in the first place and wouldn't have had to move. We left soon after. The whole experience was just negative. The ambience was okay. Really liked the mood lighting. But everything else was uncomfortable and we felt like a burden.

Visited for the bottomless brunch which was great value for money. It was a little breezy being sat by the door. The food has good and not badly priced for brunch in London. They were unable to take our food order for a while as the kitchen was busy but this wasn't too much of a problem as we were having a leisurely brunch. Our first waitress was quite slow but our next waitress was much quicker and refilled our glasses regularly.

The service was really good despite it being quite busy on the day. The burger and chips were so amazing I had to order another dish - the pancakes too were delicious! Would definitely recommend the brunch menu and the bottomless prosecco! Only thing I’d say needs changing are the dish portions.

The food and drinks were great and not ridiculously pricey considering the location. Service was a bit hit and miss as the staff were trying hard to keep up with too many tables.

Brilliant atmosphere, food and service. The bottomless prosecco was a highlight and we were never waiting for a top up. The only downside was how cramped and busy it was... especially seeing as we were sat next to the door which was freezing as it kept opening and closing. However, an overall very enjoyable brunch!

Amazing vibe and buzzing place! With shard at the backdrop and amazing ambience, really enjoyed my time. Tapas style food, love the hummous with bread, carrots with yogurt dressing. Lovely non alcohol cocktails!!! Service was slow but guess it was a Friday night... so... understand. Overall real good hangout place with friends

Good, healthy food in a friendly, casual atmosphere. 12.5% tip is added to your bill although our server said the staff don’t see this money!

The food was great as always but the service just wasn’t great. When we enquired about our table at the time of our booking we were told that it wasn’t ready and we had to wait since not everyone was present either. After about 15min we finally got sat down at a table for 6 despite the fact I had called to update the booking to 7. So we had to squish onto a bench and barely had space to eat. I also asked for water several times and only received it towards the end of the meal. Ok too of that we got served a side we had not ordered and informed the waiter of this to have it taken away only to find we were charged for it at the end. It took ages to get someone attention to have this amended, and once this was done the service charge was also taken off which was nice. We then had to wait a further 20min to pay the bill. I love the food here but it always seems understaffed and disorganised so although the food is worth it it’s dissapointing to be always let down by service.

I had a client breakfast at this venue this morning- this was my first time at London Grind and i booked it as it seemed to have good ratings. Unfortunately it was bad-bad-bad. Bad service - waited 40 minutes for a cup of coffee which I ordered with my meal and chased twice before the manager finally brought it over. Bad food- my sweet potato harissa cakes turned up raw. Crunchy raw sweet potato and uncooked flour was not a pleasant experience let me tell you. Bad atmosphere - the place was busy and noisy, which is absolutely fine but you could just tell that at least this morning something went wrong. There was no communication between the staff, everyone was rushing around, I had to ask three different people to pay my bill etc. I just did not feel good in your restaurant today and even though the manager (senior staff member) came to apologize quickly for the coffee and the raw harissa cakes which were taken off the bill, it was not enough to ever bring me back....

The cocktails were delicious and came very quickly once ordered. We would sometimes have to look around to catch someone's eye so we could order again though.

The staff were the most disorganised bunch I’ve ever experienced in a London restaurant. As soon as we sat down they kept asking if we were ready to order (3 separate waiters in as many minutes!). Then when we were ready to order pudding we couldn’t get anybody’s attention - not because they were busy but because one was eating chips and the other two were staring at screens - for ages. The main courses were good but the pudding a nice idea gone wrong. In summary, this place is totally meh.

Food is always delicious here. Cocktails are wonderful too. Can get noisy in the evenings - music is too loud in my opinion.

Just a few easily remedied issues. Mostly, listen more carefully to the order details. The toast should be actually toasted, not warm bread Fried eggs should have runny yolk when specifically requested, not hard If asked to bring the tea with the meal, then please do so, not well before so that it goes cold. On the plus side, nice atmosphere and lovely pancakes. Welcoming and friendly staff also.

Nice restaurant close to London Bridge. Service was good and atmosphere pleasant. Had a mediocre burger that arrived cold while partner ordered the steak which she felt was pretty chewy and rubbery. Not bad for the price and location but not as nice as expected

What a great find. We had a take out from here tonight and it was absolutely delicious. We had chicken and lamb and ate every bite! We also had baklava for dessert - equally delicious! We'll be back!!
