Companero in Hackney - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

I wrote this back in February 2020 when this place was in the o2 centre: I was haplessly wandering towards Wagamama when I was intercepted by one of the waiters working at this adjacent establishment. ‘Good evening sir, the restaurant you’re about to enter is an insipid and hackneyed chain’, he proclaimed, ‘and we have a chef preparing fresh food on site, we offer fusion cuisine and an unrivalled view of the YO! Sushi conveyor belt and what’s more we’ve climbed to the lofty heights of number 38 on the TripAdvisor rankings’. Coincidentally I had recently made a resolution to only consume fusion cuisine, so needless to say I was convinced. Upon entering the already excellent lighting was adjusted to my taste... I’ve lost the second page of my review, but from here on in the experience just got better and better. I look forward to tracking this place down again in Dalston.

Tuve el placer de contratar a Nik (el chef detrás de Campaneros) este verano para una cena familiar privada. Descubrimos su restaurante por primera vez hace un año. Mis hijos junto con mi esposo y yo nos enamoramos de la comida. Las albóndigas estaban deliciosas ya nuestros niños les encantaron las salchichas merguez. Como la sucursal más cercana estaba cerrada temporalmente debido a Covid, nos pusimos en contacto con Nik y le pedimos que preparara una comida muy especial para un cumpleaños familiar. Bueno, la comida no decepcionó. Delicioso de principio a fin, una gran selección de platos para complementar. No podría recomendar a Nik lo suficiente. ¡El cumpleaños pasó y la tormenta! Definitivamente volveremos a utilizar sus servicios en un futuro próximo.

Buen sitio para comer en Londres. Los camareros NO son españoles. Pero muy muy amables y atentos. Mi hijo es alérgico a la PLV y se preocuparon de no contaminar nada y que hijo comiera bien. La comida buena y casera. Gracias por todo

My wife and I came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely food cooked fresh by a passionate cook/owner. Super attentive. He would come over periodically whilst we were eating to see how everything was and for a chat. He clearly takes great pride in his food / restaurant. Nice touch. Ably assisted by the manager who was the personification of professionalism. Excellent team and superb food that made this lunch very enjoyable. King prawns - excellent. Prices reasonable. On the whole - a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Deserves success.
