Solid spot for a variety of food. Several different independent diners serve food and you sit down in a common area to eat. Pretty nice spot for a Saturday afternoon/evening. Sometimes live bands or DJs as well as Sport on several TVs around the place. Even a few pool tables on the upper level.

Stopped by for some fried chicken . Great

I went to this Mexican food stall called Sicarios and ordered chicken tacos, bean tacos, chicken burrito and veggie bean burrito with med and high spicy sauce. Everything was just extra ordinary, being an Indian it tasted like an absolute treat to me. Car Parking- I went on Sunday and the parking just outside the Common Market was free elsewhere it is very cheap around £1.5 for 2 hours.

Funky, fresh & welcoming. Did I mention the food it is too die for mmmmmm. The common market houses various eateries ranging from fried chicken to burritos each one better than the last. Plus there r not 1 but 2 bars. Love music & it's open for all the family including the dog 🐶

No clean tables, no knifes or napkins and toilets were rotten, not as good as it use to be, even my burger was through together, mental busy

Very popular especially with younger crowd, large queues for bar and food stands. Varied choice of meals available including chicken wings, smash burgers, rice bowls etc. I had pork belly bites which were nice, another person ordered rice bowl and it was massive and others ordered smash burgers which they enjoyed. Once you order you get a wee pager which buzzes when your food is ready. Seating downstairs and upstairs and also outside.

Highly recommend this as a place to grab a bite to eat in Belfast! There are options for everyone, and the vibe is great. It did cost 1 pound to enter, and the food prices were a bit more than regular street food. The live music was perfect and we will be back!

Zeus god of steet food what the hell was that? Charging £12 for bread, 4 chips and some chicken? Robbery of the century. Chicken was rubbery, bread was stale, sauce was flavourless. Almost as sad as the staff

Alright food and good timing of service. Be careful of the bad though because they’ll tell you a deal on Jameson and ginger ale and then charge up fill price for it. Then you’ll complain on google maps because cba waiting for the bar again and also it’s only £1.80 so it doesn’t really matter but it does matter it’s the principle of the matter . The principal, which was is the right spelling, principal or principle. I don’t know but oh well

Fun place with selection of street-food style kiosks. Bar also available. Large seating in picnic type benches (a big sticky though🙄). Music on stage too - so good value & a fun stop on a night out. Food was good too👌

Fab! Great eateries and a wee bar. Plenty of bench seating. We ate from The Wing Society and the food was lovely.

Disappointing in August 2024. Poor selection of food vendors with only 7 or so carts most of which are just processed fast food (burgers, hot dogs, wings etc). The burger that I ended up getting from Smash Bros was really dry and overbooked. They charge an entry fee before you even get to see what options there are which is the first time I’ve ever seen this at a food market venue. This means you’re kinda trapped as we would have walked out / not come here / not paid had we known how bad the options inside were. The music was also insanely loud, like hurting my ears. My Apple Watch flashed up that the sound here is above 90 decibels which is dangerous and damaging to human hearing. It was like being sat right next to a speaker at a concert no matter where you sit inside. Who wants to be deafened at dinner? Couldn’t even hear myself think let alone the other people sat at my table. All in all a really bad experience, doesn’t compare to the quality of vibe of food markets in other UK cities. We left pretty quickly and didn’t even finish our overpriced fast food. 👎🏻

Busy location, excellent food. Highly recommend the Gyros and Smash Burgers.

Extremely common nowadaysFantastic!! Plenty of stock and the shelves were full. The store has bathrooms available, which is fantastic. Staff are friendly and helpful both on the sales floor and at the cashpoint. Bathrooms were clean, tidy , presentable, and regularly cleaned as per sheets on the wall. Shop was well air conditioned, and a nice temperature for a browse. Highly recommended for a satisfactory shopping experience! Thank you!

Great atmosphere, good food but long queues for everything.

McCain oven frozen chips, chicken wings with no chicken and Gyros with Iceland chicken tenders. £45 and left hungry. I actually want to be sick after eating, disgusting. Grubby, unhygienic, don’t know how this place is open.

The ambience was great. Lots of food choices, delicious too. There was a live singer which kept the mood really going. A bit of a queue in the bar for drinks since there was only 1 stall selling them. Overall experience, awesome!

What a fantastic place. Whoever thought this up deserves more than a pat on the back. There are two bars here and an amazing selection of food from Smash Burgers, Mexico, Canada and Greece there is something for everyone so a family could order different meals and then share them at the table. When you order you're given a buzzer which goes off when your order is ready so you get your grub piping hot. There are Television sets all around so you won't miss that all important event. The only downside, if there is one, is the long bench tables are a bit sticky but it's still well worth a visit.

Went with the kids at the weekend for the first time. Was good fun the kids really loved it and the food was great. I have been instructed by kids we are to go every weekend until we have tried all food spots. So we will be back

Me and my boyfriend were so excited to try the birria tacos in Sicarios. The service was decent and the atmosphere has potential, however the food itself, was underwhelming!! Three small tacos, with very little meat, toppings such as (corriander and fresh onion) was non existent and whatever coriander was present was brown. The consumé was bland water and you get a dribble, if that. The portion size for the price you pay is unbelievably shocking. Not worth half the price in my opinion.Go buy a slow cooker and a recipe book and make it yourself for half the price and 5x the quality! We expected it to be pricey and for it be an experience but overall it was so underwhelming, we walked away hungry and disappointed.

Great place if you wanted to try out some good food and have a few drinks with friends, usually opens at 12 each day.

Went on a Saturday, this was a big mistake. Queue was very big. At this point, I wasn't aware of the fact that you had to pay £1 for entry until we were nearly inside. I'm still not sure why the entry fee exists 🤔. The atmosphere was pretty awesome. There is no denying it, but it was very packed. Queues for the food stalls again huge. So I opted for a stall that was empty. Pizza, that's what I ended up eating. It was really nice, but definitely not what I went there to try. Would I go back? Possibly, but definitely not on a Saturday.

£1 entrance fee which sucks if you only want to pop in to get some food. Really uncomfortable environment and it's far, far too loud - whether that's for food or getting a pint. Great food (particularly Zeus) but given the points above I would rarely think about coming back here.

Lovely food court, honestly one of the most unique places I've been to. I had poutine which was brilliant and my partner had a smashed burger and brought a massive pizza slice. Everything was delicious, I think some drinks were slightly overpriced but overall a great experience. Toilets were clean and well kept as well.

Arrived fir food but most food stalls were closing as had sold out of food so we finished drinks and went in search of food!

The Full Moose at Oui Poutine was an absolute delight.

We arrived early and when some friends joined they were charged in (only £1 but even so). Was noone at the desk when we arrived to explain, no signage (that we saw). Only the main bar was open at the time so there was a bit of a queue but the other bar opened later. The food was delicious though! Nice atmosphere, plenty of seating.

Fun stop. Grap a plate from Top Dog and a pint. Especially when you need a break.

A little overwhelming for neurodivergent friends, and very expensive. But honestly, definitely worth for a treat. There are stalls that have amazing food that you don't see anywhere else. (Mac and cheese egg rolls are amazing!)

Definitely an essential spot to go when visiting Belfast. Great atmosphere and seating inside and out. Visited on a Sunday on May just as stalls opening up so didn't have to wait too long. Most difficult thing was making the decision on what to eat. Went for chicken tenders from The Wing Society with hot honey sauce. Absolutely amazing (but a large portion!). All the stalls holders seem very friendly and helpful.

Great lively spot for some drinks and food with friends, live music rings out at the weekends with multiple choices of food stalls on offer, ques for drinks are often long. Tables could do with regular cleaning. Food can be mixed depending on what time of day and which stall you choose, some stalls run out of sauce or ingredients as the day goes on so make sure you ask before you pay. All in all, good spot for drinks with mates

Got there earlier enough for a seat but too early for the entertainment. Highly recommend the smash burgers and the Poutine, good selection of beverages. Would like to come back when there is an event on.

We tried the Lasa Filipino Stand and had their rice bowl with fries. And wow, all three of us were blown away. We had the chicken, the pork and the cauliflower for the vegetarian. Honestly, the cauliflower was the best veggie food I’ve had in a while. Good food, great live music and a lovely atmosphere. This is a big contributor to NIs great food scene. A must when you visit! Try LASA, nothing will disappoint!

Some good choices of different foods. Very noisy. Order from the food place and get given a buzzer so can go find a table in the meantime. Had toilets and lots of seating.

Great concept of differnt food outlets and a bar all in a large space with plenty of tables. Some really great food options - something for everyone. Good gluten free options, very knowledgeable stall holders on catering for intolerances. Will definitely return.

Had a fantastic day here yesterday!! Staff are so friendly, food stalls were fantastic, fried chicken was the best! Considering the crowds of people, toilets are kept clean, no fighting or shoving, couldn’t get over it! The style of the bench seating is great for chatting with everyone and the entertainment was brill!! Can’t wait to return😁😁

Plenty of choice for food, some of it very good indeed. Street food approach suits the place well. The bar service isn't up to par - there's a side bar for craft beer, which is permanently closed, missing a beat here, and the bars themselves were a bit short on charm. Good if you like shouting.

This place was bouncing, whether that was because of the rugby or not I don't know. This was the start of our day drinking so cheated by having food as well, we had burgers and wings from the smash burger place, a well organised machine place your order, get your space ship warning thing and go and drink! The bar was massively busy but the staff rattled through the crowd in no time at all. 2 pints at less than a tenner was a bargain. Somewhere like this wouldn't work in London, say, as the businesses are too focussed on making as much money as possible rather than keeping it reasonable and good quality. It's a grand place and as it's covered great should the weather be a little rainy

Great spot to watch the rugby! Lots of eateries to suit everyones preference. Wonderful atmosphere! Very busy! Table reservation required for larger groups. Great fun place! We will be back

I have been in Belfast for a few months and been to the Common Market a few times to get takeout food from LASA, due to its proximity to my student accommodation. Today, 24 February 2024, I stopped there to get my usual pack. As I was walking in, I saw a table by the door and a man asking for a pound. The music was loud as usual and I thought it was a charity that set up and walked past. Next, I felt someone grab my arm. I looked back and asked him not to touch me. He proceeds to block my path and asked me to leave as they didn't want that "type of attitude" there. The only "attitude" was asking not to be touched by a stranger. My only crime was trying to get takeout food from LASA. There is nothing on their website showing that people had to pay on certain days. I've been there on different occasions and have never experienced that. The table was right inside and it's plausible not to expect to pay an entrance fee in a place I have visited a couple of times without paying one. It's unfortunate that they have bullies by the door who can grab your arm for walking past them. If I'd seen a queue waiting to get in, maybe I'd understand getting accosted for jumping the queue.

This is a fantastic place. I advise everyone to visit here. We only had two hours there, great atmosphere, fantastic food and lots of drink choices. And a live band while we were there. It'll be the first place we visit the next time we visit Belfast!

One of the best venues in Belfast. So many choices for street food with many food outlets inside the building. I highly recommend Smash Bros for what is the best burger in Belfast. There is always a good atmosphere in the place especially when the Rugby 6 Nations is on the big screens.

The food was average and expensive. It’s a good venue and it would be great with a group of friends to watch the rugby etc, but maybe not in the day time

We visited this place 2 weeks ago and my sister got severe food poisoning from the Mexican Stall. Absolutely disgusting food! I contacted this place - no reply!! Avoid!

There was a £1 per person cover charge to get in. There were quite a few different food vendors with vegetarian and vegan options available. The veggie poutine was delicious! There was live music playing, which was really good, but also pretty loud, so it’s not great if you’re looking for a quiet place for conversations. If you’re looking for a fun place to meet up with friends and enjoy some good food and music, this is the place!

Had a really disappointing experience here on Friday 26th of February which is a shame as its a handy spot. Usually really enjoy the food but some places were closed and huge queues for others. Smash Bros was packed out (I can understand why!) and Lasa was closed - this was at 7pm. We ended up going to a stall called Dog - something?? Must be new as I’d never seen it before. It was mostly small plates and loaded fries. We went for the Goats Cheese fritters, Pork dumplings, Pork Belly Bites & Mac and Cheese spring rolls. It was unfortunately very disappointing and underwhelming. The pork dumplings tasted of nothing and were extremely dry, the dipping sauce that accompanied couldn’t even save them. The Goats Cheese fritters were the nicest but very small - the salad that came with them was delicious but its not a great review if you come away thinking the salad was the nicest part. Mac and cheese spring rolls were okay, the dip again that came with them was very bland. The pork belly bites were nice but wouldn’t run back for them. We had a rum & coke and whiskey & ginger and both were watery and didn’t really taste of alcohol. Maybe it was a bad night, but it put us off going back. I think we’d only return to do Smash Bros again (if we can avoid the massive queue) or try Lasa (again, if its actually open). Disappointing as we were really looking forward to it after payday!

Great food choices, however it was very busy and queues were long. Seemed to be a bit of litter there on the floor.

Popped in here at around 6pm on a Sunday night, hoping for some street food. Atmosphere was buzzing and it was quite a young and I suspect mostly student crowd. Music at a nice level so you can hold a conversation easily. Bit disappointed that most of the traders had either run out of most of their offerings and some had just shut up shop completely and left, so the selection was very limited. The wait for food was about 15 minutes, which seemed long for street food. Food was good though. We had fish and beef tacos, which appeared quite authentic and very tasty. More expensive than I thought it would be. Most servings are about £10. Quite accessible place. Very close to the centre of town but you wouldn't know it's there unless you go looking for it.

Great place for food and drink but the smell of damp in the toilets would make you sick.

I have attended the common market a few times with both kids and friends. It’s dog friendly and has a good selection of street food reasonably priced. Service at the bar can be a little slow but nothing to complain about, music can also be a little too loud for conversation but the atmosphere is great and there has never been any problems or excessive drinking when I was there.

Personally, I think Smash Bros double smash is the best burger in Belfast. From the quality of the ingredients, all delivered in perfect proportions, this is an absolute worldie of a smash burger. Recently ate at 7th Street Burger in NYC and I still prefer Smash Bros…

Had a few drinks after work and the place was still quiet. Service was quick at the bar with a great selection of spirits and beers on tap. Great variety of food. Had the Smash Bros double smash burger....really tasty. Varied options from other food retailers. Some live entertainment came in the the place really got busy but still quick to get a drink. Great spot

Good vibe going on here, live music and street food indoors. Wrap up warm in the winter. Loaded fries from Zeus were my favourite last time. Buzzin' 1 Dec 2023 and Christmas jumpers abound.
