Coliseum Coffee House in Ceredigion

Beautiful natural lit café! I had a cappuccino made in my travel mug & a slice of vegan chocolate fudge cake which was the best I’ve had in the UK. Perfect first stop. Highly recommend!

Great home made food and delicious cakes with very friendly staff and within a lovely little town museum, definitely worth visit.

My new favourite coffee shop in Aberystwyth! Only just found out about it. No more queuing for ages at the ‘1’ across the road (IYKYK). I visited mid-afternoon. Quick service and nice cake selection.

Visited this lovely little cafe recently and had a pot of breakfast tea and gorgeous piece of clementine cake. It was absolutely delicious 😋 Lovely atmosphere with excellent service. Menu looked very appealing, so will be back again to have lunch. 🍽

Having waited 20 minutes to be told that the kitchen was out of order and could not serve food. What a shower outfit.

Had a day out and popped here. It was nice to stop here and got some antique stuff around.

Coffee was average; the service was appalling. Don't bother.

They make the best pumpkin latte. Lovely little cafe to sit and relax at and although I didn't eat the food looked healthy and delicious. It connects directly to the museum with is a great place also. One clean toilet for everyone.

Slow. Took 15mins to get our coffees and the table was dirty. Not enough staff clearing tables and cleaning them.

Good food pleasant surroundings staff under pressure so service a bit slow would still go again.

What a gem! We all loved exploring the curiosities from age 6 to 69! A great selection and free entry. An amazing setting too. Be sure to visit the cafe.

The Coliseum Coffee House is situated above the tourist information centre on Terrace Road in Aberystwyth, West Wales. It is a very good place to pause for refreshments with many attractions around for the tourist or visitor to Aberystwyth. The Ceredigion Museum can be accessed on the same floor with a very impressive collection of exhibits which depict life in Wales in the past.

Had a lovely French onion soup. Nice and clean, friendly staff but not much seating and a bit of a wait for food, very fresh though!

Called here after our museum visit,it's in the same building,had cheddar cheese toasted sandwich and side salad,pot of Earl Grey tea too, lovely food, nice polite staff, relaxing place, worth a visit even if you don't go around the museum.

Love the decor, there were no printed menus and only toast or cakes on offer for breakfast. But the teacake was lovely and the coffee was good.

Too noisy to talk. Food ok, but not much choice. Ok if you just want laver bread or sandwich.

A gem of a coffee (and other beverages) stop on a very wet rainy day. Staff were very nice as were the coffee and cakes.

Very bright space, airy. The coffee that I had was made perfectly. An added value to the cafe is the museum, gallery and the gift shop. Large table spaces, a lovely menu, always great cakes.

Coffee and lunch with friends. It's a nice place, fairly new, with good coffee and food. Had an excellent Welsh rarebit and my friend enjoyed her cake. There isn't a lot of seating, but it's a good size. The only slightly negative thing was that my chair was a bit wobbly, which was slightly worrying - but I sat on it for a couple hours without ending up on the floor, so it was fine in the end!

I've just had one of the best cakes since I moved to Aberystwyth. It's the Guinness cake and whoever baked definitely earned my blessings! :D thank you! (coffee was seriously good too. A flat white. I wouldn't order the mocha, though. Too sweet!)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. A cracking selection of cakes of which the ones we had were delicious! Good coffee. Thoroughly recommended.
