Excellent food very good coffee!!

Had a latte and some pastries - both of which were very good. Very nice location as it is close to the lake, Serenity statue, and the Diana memorial fountain.

Serpentine Lido Café is an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we were treated to excellent service, wonderful coffee, and amazing food. We ordered an Americano and the superfood salad—both were fresh, flavorful, and just perfect. The location is simply breathtaking, right by the lake, offering a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to relax and soak in nature while enjoying great food and drinks. A special mention to the in charge , Vishnu—what a charming personality! His warm hospitality and engaging conversation made the experience even more memorable (and, I must admit, he even made me blush!). He truly added a personal touch to our visit. Highly recommend this café for anyone looking for great food, a stunning setting, and top-tier service. Can’t wait to return!

It’s a great cafe & location but need to update their website opening hours - I got there at 4.30pm and they were closed (says 5pm on line). Just a bit annoying as gone specifically.

Male staff are sexist and confrontational. I bought two drinks, considering that I would be there about an hour (more than fair for considering the price of a table), I left about 45 minutes after. Within ten minutes of me sitting at a table, a male manager asking me to move for a family to sit who I watched walk in and not even wait five minutes. I said no, five minutes later three other tables were available for them to sit, and that was only near me not the rest of the restaurant. Another time, while I was NOT the only single person sitting at a table but the only SINGLE WOMAN, a random man chose to sit at my table, and brought the manager when I explained it’s not for others to sit (it’s a small table). There were two other men sitting near by at their own same sized tables, one infront of me and another next to me. The men were not asked the same request, but I was harassed because I was a WOMAN ON HER OWN and it was because a random man wanted to sit at my table and not with other men. The manager, a waiter and a third man surrounded my table, confronting me, claiming I had been there 3 hours, I pulled out my receipt to show I wasn’t event there one hour. They were using intimidation because I was a woman. The manager leaned over my table, got close to my face and pointed his finger in my face. This is appalling, sexist and completely inappropriate. Treat women like you treat men. I didn’t even manage to sit a full hour before being harassed by three men.

Great location not many options for gluten free and staff too lazy to ask if you want to drink in or takeout so serve you in a takeout cup

Since they clean the coffee maker an hour before, you can't order hot drinks. And half an hour before closing they try to get you to get up from the table. All this for about €6 for a normal, pre-cooked sandwich.

Nice location, clean , but poor/rude service from a staff member...asked for ketchup and condiments but was told 'it's inside if you want it', small portion of food. Some minor changes and this would be a fantastic place.

Pretty good food, cakes fairly nice, and good seating options inside and out

I had a bad experience due to racist and discriminatory service. I felt unwelcome, and the man behind the counter was deliberately ignoring my kids for almost 20 minutes. Very disappointed.

My experiences are positive! My cappuccino was delicious and even better with the beautiful view. The ambience and the atmosphere were great.

From the upper terrace you can enjoy great views and a haven of peace in the city while you have a few beers.

A lot of people can be put off imagining that such a cafe/restaurant right on the Serpentine is going to be expensive. Well for this area it is isn't so we enjoy coming here for afternoon tea and watch the boaters, ducks and swimmers (brrrr).

Burger and chips for £15, seriously ? On top of that if a customer is paying that much the least they expect is to be treated politely by staff, the guy taking order was trying to be as rude as he can be. Not answering straight, giving smirks making taunts. The view is the only better thing.

Icecreams not tasty. Staff very unhygienic They were trnasferring lemonade from the tank to the ice tank initially with a jar of dipping all in -that was on the floor- then gave up and transferred with a plastic cup whilst the staffs nongloved hand was in lemonade Disgusting

The location, atmosphere, service and over all very nice but the pasta was bad tbh, it’s totally not worth £6.5! My friends ordered falafel bowls and they looked nice and tasted good but the pasta I wouldn’t recommend at all. Also tried to order few other dishes and they weren’t available :(

I stopped at Colicci for a coffee whilst exploring Hyde Park. It's got a stunning setting over The Serpentine Lido, with plenty of outdoor seating for when the sun is shining. The coffee was pretty well priced and was very good quality. There were lots of food options, from quick bites to main meals. I'd certainly return again in the future, as it was a lovely spot to sit and watch the world go by.

Although the weather was cold and dull 😑 it was pleasant sitting outside watching the ducks and geese had sharing our chips 🍟 with a friendly starling.

Yesterday we had few drinks upstairs and it was amazing! Spicl thanks to Ross amazing service and we really loved the frozen margarita cocktail that he recommended. We will be back next weekend.

Great place for a drink on a sunny day. Decent selection of beers, some wines, but the real draw is the outside terrace next to the Serpentine. Lovely to sit by the water on a long summers evening and just enjoy a drink or two. Food is served also. We did not try it. Saw food coming out to other tables. It looked reasonable but certainly not in the “gourmet” category. So recommended for sunny drinks, would probably go somewhere else to eat.

Served by the wonderful Ross, despite it being busy the queue went down fast and I was met with a smile and a positive can do demeanor. The Burgers were really good, the chicken avocado salad left a lot to be desired, 2 leafs of lettuce doesn't equate to a salad regardless of what it's served with. All in all a pleasant experience with the staff being the highlight. Thanks!

Hand on heart this was the worst breakfast I have ever had! It arrived and the items all looked like they had been sitting around all morning. The potatoes were cold not luke warm, COLD! The veggie sausages were slimey, the toast cold and hard. The only decent thing on the plate were the beans and you guessed it they were cold, I made an attempt to eat some of it my friend did not! Considering breakfast was £14 a plate I was fuming. Stick to coffee and cakes here, do not order hot food because you will not get HOT food.

View and outdoor seating amazing. Staff training a huge issue as some dont even speak English very well. Heaps of menu items not available. Really poor execution of ordering however food was good once it came out.

It was really vital for me to talk about my Lido experience. Even though it was really busy when I visited. Huge congratulations to the staff for successfully enhancing our experience and making it feel truly comfy! I wanted to pay particular focus to the chef wearing the black jacket in the kitchen. Every time we go to a new restaurant, I worry about my son's severe nut and dairy allergies. But after informing a staff member at Lido about my allergies, she pointed me in the direction of the chef. The chef gave me a fascinating detailed explanation of every dish. He described which allergy is present in every dish. To be quite honest, I had never seen someone with such a thorough understanding of their own cuisine.Knowing that my child would be able to eat and enjoy his dinner safely brought me immense relief as a mother. My spouse and I loved the fish & chips. Both the fish and the chips were cooked to perfection. The cafe also offers a pleasant view of the lake. I wholeheartedly urge anyone who is passing by to check out this place.

Very poor service. Beyond slow, staff don’t seem to take interest in serving the unnecessarily long queue. One person takes orders and the second watches his phone. Unacceptable.

Pain au chocolat (£3.10) is really flaky and baked well. The large latte I ordered (£3.85) is specialty coffee but it wasn’t the best I’ve had. Has that paper-y taste but no burnt taste problems. Atmosphere is excellent being by the Serpentine River. Only downside is that if you’re sitting outside and eating, the starlings and pigeons can come and disturb your peace. So if you’re eating, might want to consider inside. Good selection of cakes and when I was there, there was pain au chocolat and croissants, no other pastries. I was there at around 11am. Good handling and consideration for people with nut allergies — different thongs provided which I found very thoughtful.

Ordered a meat burger and the portion of coleslaw was tiny, asked waiter politely for some more and told that is the portion and then told to get our own sauces. The beetroot burger came without any coleslaw at all, despite it shown on menu. Had to complain to the manager who eventually brought out 2 portions of coleslaw. Paid £50 for 2 burgers and 2 drinks, over priced and very poor service.

Met up with a mate for a coffee, cake and a chat after a meeting in central London. Always a pleasure to gaze across the lake, even on a near drizzly April day in this year where Spring is reluctant to appear. We did have to retreat to the cover of one of the alcoves of the building as it started to rain. Coffee is good and promptly brewed, cakes are tasty.

Second time here. We ordered food, food was nice but was served on different times, so the first person had nearly finished her meal when the last person had his meal served!! IT was a very busy time there! Anyway, I like the place and it's right next to the Diana's memorial fountain and the Serenity.

When the day is sunny it is an ideal place to visit.

Good friendly atmosphere right next to the lake, can get busy during the day especially during the weekends which proves that this place is worth the time to visit.

Fantastic venue shockingly executed! Ruined by horse stable style booths in the middle of the whole space cutting off all Serpentine views and any chance of ambience. As if the decor is not bad enough, the coffee is just awful (bitter and £3.70!) and don't mention the 'bacon bap?' Served with a tiny bit of greasy undercooked bacon inside for £7?! Many locals deeply upset by what a huge missed opportunity this operation has turned out to be. Nothing less than an eye watering embarrassment for the area.

Pleasant and calming, a beautiful place for a well-deserved rest

It's the first time I've been inside the café usually I'll go to one of the kiosks to grab a coffee but they haven't been that good. But in here the coffee was really good and I also had a chicken and pesto sandwich which was lovely.

this restaurant on appearance looked pretty, however when myself and my mum entered the restaurant we got to the counter and the server was very rude. As i work in hospitality myself, for this to happen it felt quite hostile. The fish and chips was £16, considering i would have to work nearly 2 hours for this dish. A refund for a burnt piece of fish was a price i was not prepared to pay. Not returning, i understand hospitality can sometimes be a struggle, however a places environment can always be impacted on how the servers are.

They have THE BEST brownies!! So buttery and chocolaty. Keep going back there for their brownies. :)

It was a nice vacation in London. Beautiful views of Hyde park and taste food I recommend for everyone who want to find nice and quiet place in London for eat and work with nice view this place is exactly for this.

Lovely little place in pleasant surroundings but unfortunately the breakfast was not good. For the price charged I expected much, much better. It was cold and very, very meager. The coffee and service were great though.

Nice ambiance to dine near the water, Just watch out for the birds who try to eat your food If that situation is not to your liking, you can always eat inside the restaurant I had the grilled lemon chicken sandwich, it was good. The chicken was cooked to my liking, and the ciabatta wasn’t bad either.

I'm here for the half marathon. They are rattling through people like troopers. They really get what it means to be a busy London establishment. So good!!

We had walked through the park to find a place to sit and enjoy the views. This place was beautifully located along with toilet facilities. We ordered two coffees and croissants. While enjoying the views we were entertained by the little birds and pigeons which will perch onto your table for food and breadcrumbs. Watch out as some cheeky birds will try and share your croissants if they get an opportunity! Well worth a stop just to hear and see the playful birds. At the outdoor benches were great to get up close.

Good selection of pastries and already made sandwiches, also they have kitchen where you can order hot food from. From burgers to different salads, you can find a few things. We just had a coffee, and I must say we were very happy with the quality. They have toilet to use and everything clean. They also have seats outside next to the lake.

Do yourself a favour and walk 10 mins to the Serpentine Bar & Kitchen. Paid nearly £30 for 2 chicken casear salads and a can of coke. The 'salad' was drenched in dressing to the point of making the lettuce soggy, and the chicken was seemingly warmed up after being cooked earlier in the day, had no taste and was so tough and hard it could probably deflect bullets. Won't be rushing back.

Expensive food, rude staff who shout at the customers and each other. Then told off by a bullying cafe manager for moving a table so that others could join us. We moved to the grass in the park, where 25 of us had a nice afternoon.

We had a delicious unexpected lunch during the week in the middle of summer here. Friendly and efficient staff, delicious chips and sandwiches. Very much a diner style café, order at the till etc but good food and craft beer/coffee selection. Was busy but didn't take too long. About £50 for 4 of us with drinks.
