Cole's of Ramsgate in Thanet

Small cafe close to town centre. very clean,friendly staff obliging nothing to much for them. prices are reasonable . Food was quickly served and hot, and just as l ordered. l have been there a few times now and would recommend it.

Three of us came here,two of us ate.I ordered a large breakfast,but unfortunately they serve strong flavoured 'herby/Lincolnshire' sausages as part of it,and did not mention this on the menu,so I was expecting a normal style sausage.Sadly I detest herby sausages,and while my partner ate both of them,so were not wasted,my breakfast was ruined.They were busy,and i did not see any point in mentioning this,because we were under time considerations,and did not want to be messing about.Shame,because the rest of the visit was quite good,friendly service etc...just wish owners would use their menu to describe more accurately what they offer,many other places I visit do mention this.

The couple that run it are really lovely people, the customer service is top notch and the food is even better once you try their sausage and egg muffin breakfast you'll never want to go anywhere else! You can get breakfast deals up to 11am try it

I've been to this cafe a number of times and can honestly say it's the best breakfast around. The eggs and bacon are cooked just as I ask for and the sausages are absolutely delicious. I also found out that they do a healthy option for people that are slimming or trying to make healthier choices. The staff are very friendly and always make me feel welcome. I would definitely recommend.

Had a lovely breakfast today at Coles :) friendly staff who can’t do enough for you, and the food was cooked to perfection. my son said that he had the best sausage and chips he had ever tasted :) all reasonably priced too. What more can you want? See you again soon!

The toast was to die for. I treated myself to a fry up and was not disappointed. I believe they’ve closed for a refurb now but would love to return.

I think it's important to support local small businesses and love this cafe. The food is amazing and the staff are friendly and warming. There is always repeat custom and there is always new faces through the door. The range of food is varied and there is something fot everyone. The portion sizes are a very good size as they don't want you to go hungry. If you want a new local cafe or to try something new go to Cole's!

This little gem of a cafe is just up a little street two minutes from the market area. Great all day breakfast, great friendly owner service, good budget prices. It was a welcome oasis for a rainy day.

Super friendly staff who stop to have a chat and ask about your day. Really relaxed environment with lovely local produce. I was worried about this cafe business when a Wetherspoons opened up the road, but after paying a recent visit it’s clear to see they will be absolutely fine!

When I stumbled across this little hidden gem I was searching for somewhere quiet to have a work day lunch. I wasn't expecting anything special to be honest but it really does deliver and I go in fairly regularly now.

I have been to coles on quite a few occasions. In every experience the lady at the till is lovely and so welcoming. The food is fantastic and the price for an all day breakfast is a steal. I cannot recommend enough going to coles Caffè. Although it is small it has a lot of character and is worth the trip.

Was on our way to Subway when we spotted this place, always like to try new places and so glad we went in! Warm welcome, cosy atmosphere, lovely and clean....food was cooked to order and have to say best poached eggs I've had in a long time! My sister had the burger and chips, which she enjoyed as well....Very reasonable prices, will be returning when next in Ramsgate and certainly one to recommend.

Popped in here for a coffee as had half an hour to kill. Very clean inside and great choice on the menu. Prompt service and very pleasant staff. Well worth a visit.

Lovely welcoming little place, the staff are very friendly and helpful, It's always a pleasure to go there which I do on a fairly regular basis, it's comfortable, with a nice atmosphere and best of all they do a banging sausage sandwich and hot chocolate 🌟 🌟

I’m not from around here but my partner is. I’ve never eaten breakfast in ramsgate before but he suggested this place. The blonde lady was lovely and bubbly and it’s obvious this place is a hit with regulars which is always really lovely to see. My partner had a large breakfast, latte and I had a made up breakfast with a tea. £12 bargain! Lovely eggs! (I’m fussy about my eggs). I didn’t ask if they did gluten free bread as I wasn’t sure and didn’t want to make them feel bad if they didn’t do it. But would go there again :)

This is a local for me. Its run by a lovely family, who make you feel really welcome. Its a little gem, and once people find it, they keep going back.

We've been going to Coles for a little while now. I first went in with a friend. And since then, have been going in with my partner for breakfast when we can. The decor has changed a little since that first visit. It's very nice, cosy, the food is LOVELY! Very good value. And the staff are great.

My lady friend and I go to Cole's a few times a week either for a delicious breakfast or just simply for a banana shmoo and a decaf iced latte!

Best iced latte in Thanet - and cheaper than Nero's, Costa etc.!

Visited today for a snack, we had breakfast muffins covered with a hash brown and a mug of coffee, all for just under £7. Since our last visit the whole place has been smartend up new carpet and hand washing fecilties, the staff are very welcoming and very helpful. We enjoyed our visit very much.

Coles is a small cafe off the beaten track in Ramsgate Town. From the delicious 'proper' coffee at a sensible price, to the excellent freshly 'cooked to order' food, also priced very reasonably, Coles is a little gem. With a warm welcome and great atmosphere, you need to make time to try what they have to offer.

This is a firm favourite for my mother and I, it's spotless inside, the staff are always friendly and helpful. Terry prepares your food exactly as you request it and is rather generous with his portions, Michelle is friendly, cheerful and attentive, the loos are clean and tidy too. I would thoroughly recommend this cafe to everyone

This place is near my work, so I come here occasionally when I've left my sandwiches at home. The staff are friendly and the food is good, and with its location just off of the high street, I find it a bit quieter than some other places nearby.

This is the first place I think of if I am having breakfast in Ramsgate. It is very clean, great Costa Rican coffee, and the vegetarian breakfast is excellent. Great service. Highly recommend.

We booked in with friends and realy enjoyed the food, well worth the money. Plenty of meat on the plate, loads of different veg and lovely home made icecream. We all have a great time a good laugh and will be back for more....... Was so full. Thank you for lovely dinner.

Well, the food was amazing! Beef, gammon, turkey, all the trimmings, huge choice of vegetables And if you had room, seconds on offer. There were really nice touches that set it apart from the chains, like home made apple sauce, freshly made (last night) ice creams with fruit from a local grocer and apple crumbles from our local bakery. Terry actually set his alarm for 3am to get the first of the meats in the oven - what dedication! And they kindly plated up a meal for us to take home so my son didn't miss out We will definitely be going back. You need to book as places go fast. Two sittings... 12.30 and 2.30.

The carvery was a great hit with my family a great carvery in my opinion knocks the socks off other carvery,s in the surrounding areas of Thanet that we have been to,further there is the great friendly efficient service from the owners and staff

I love going to Coles for breakfast every week, the food is always freshly cooked to order. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, and my friend and I always feel like the way we are made to feel welcome.

I visit this cafe almost everyday and I can truly say, the service they provide is exceptional. The breakfasts are to die for and very reasonably and competitively priced. Free fast wifi is also available free to use. To conclude, brilliant service, amazing food and an all round excellent atmosphere :)

Went here with friend for breakfast, being adventurous but not expecting much. "Coles" is a little bit off the high street in a road that doesn't have many other retail or catering neighbours. The owners have made a bit of effort to make it comfortable and I liked the clever way they had used old window frames to decorate the "feature wall". Breakfast consisted of good quaility ingredients cooked well. I went for the veggie option with veggie sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, egg & toast. My accopmlice opted for the traditional English with Linconshire Sausage etc.

Went in here today for lunch, lovely friendly greeting, and a good choice of food with very good prices. My daughter had a big breakfast no problem to swop some of the items and a choice of bread and butter or toast all for£4.90.I had a jacket potato with beans and cheese with drinks it came to just over£10. They have take away cups if you are a bit short of time. Just ask.

Visited today just for a quick stopover for a coffee/tea in the midst of shopping. Server was lovely, very kind and welcoming. You get value for money here too, £1.30 for a pot of tea is cheap and the tea was lovely. Would highly recommend and will revisit soon!

Our party of 6 adults and 6 kids were looking for somewhere to have a late breakfast and luckily we came across Coles. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the price very reasonable. The owner and staff were warm and welcoming and everything was clean and tidy. I highly recommend Coles if you are in Ramsgate.

Coles of Ramsgate have lovely staff that are always smiling and very welcoming to everyone. I stop here weekly and I have had many different varieties of food in Cole's and everything is so lovely including there breakfasts hot and cold sandwiches and jacket potato the food is always nice, oh and they have many options for drinks including there coffee's and shmoo's which are also very appetising. Coles have a lovely team of people and I highly recommend to stop here!

We visited with a large group of friends, service was excellent, food was lovely, if I wasn't full of food I would have had a milkshake because they looked legendary. I will come back to eat your food again soon.

Found this in a back street and so pleased we did. The staff were very friendly and the place was spotless. The breakfast was superb. I had the large full English and my partner had the small. The food was top notch. If you are in ramsgate you definitely should visit Cole's for breakfast

Friendly welcoming staff, Food is scrummy especially the breakfast. It is our regular on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The jacket spuds are also good with a variety of fillings. My husband loves cole`s costa rican coffee. Would recommend cole`s for a refreshment break.

Just off King Street in Ramsgate, Coles is a quaint coffee place with chairs tables settees, a library with a variety of books, and choice of the day's newspapers, run by such a lovley lady very konwledgeable and helpful about the area. All types of coffee Americano Latte etc. and Nescafe too! WiFi is also available. Great place for a coffee and reasonably priced too. The owner was very friendly too. Great way to start a day after a long drive and before a meeting

Darn good coffee and tea, love the bacon sandwich..yumm.. jacket spud great as well, Cole's maybe small but it is perfectly formed and comfortable. The location is great, just near the market. The staff are friendly. What more could you want.

Had breakfast here this morning. I had the breakfast muffin meal deal - great value!! It was very good and in my opinion much better than a McDonalds Muffin!!

Carved ham on a bed of salad and only £3 I'v never had better value and service A* id recommend it as a daily stop. Oh and coffee was great too :)
