Quick chips and Donnor meat with curry sauce. Chips where hard the donnor meat was foul, worst I’ve ever tasted! Sauce was lumpy and thin. I will never be back

Had the normal fish and chips with mushy peas. Always like their batter on the fish. Very tasty. Fish tasted great and fresh. Plenty of chips also. All the food was cooked well. Staff are friendly with a bit of banter.

Being good Friday decided to have fish and chips for tea. Not good. Thin fish with soggy batter and luke warm chips. Never again

Always try to pop in on Fridays for fish and chip day as my daughter loves it...staff always friendly and food lovely

There are much better chippies in the area, the fish are the smallest and a large portion of chips is about the size of a normal portion anywhere else. Decent quality but not worth the price.

We have come to this fish and chip shop for years and if anything it seems to have got better during this time with less waiting as years have gone on. There are always plenty of people waiting to be served which shows you what the quality you will get will be...locals wouldn't queue and wait for poor quality food would they? The amount of customers always means that the food is fresh. The batter is delicious, portions are generous and I've read the reviews saying the staff are mardy but I never found that. I always greet people with a smile as I come to be served so maybe that makes a difference who knows? :)

Lovely fish and chips. We called in advance. Certainly don't skimp on the batter which I personally like. Special mention to Sarah for her lovely manner. Oh and plenty of salt and vinegar. Hate it when they go easy on the condiments.

Excellent staff, food always freshly cooked. Very reasonably priced, excellent value on Nosh boxes. Fish cooked to order to your liking

An excellent fish and chip shop. I have been coming here for a number of years, being local and never had a complaint. The staff are friendly and efficient. The fish is very fresh and cooked with batter to perfection. Portion size is good and offers value for money. This establishment is undoubtedly the best in the area. Highly recommended !!

Had fish n chips from here several times, always good sized portions and good quality . never had a single problem with it

All food is cooked fresh, best chippy for miles, tried the others in the area and this is definitely the best and the fish is always fresh.

Very disappointed in the attitude of staff members this is not the first time either that I felt this way so we won't be returning I would rather go to plumber road one as much nicer and friendly such a shame

This local fish and chip shop has friendly staff, great food, great service, they are a busy shop so the food is always lovely and fresh, I can highly recommend.

I go to this chippy regular, unfortunately it always seems to take an age to get served, then when served you wait again beacuse the fish is usually fried fresh. Having said that the fish is one of the best I have ever tasted.

Local chippy service very slow food greasy and a bit overpriced only ever two staff on one cooking the other serving OK if your not in a rush but not the best fish and chips I've ever had

We went for a basic order and had to wait for our food for half an hour I don't mind waiting as the food was nice enough but I found the staff to be very rude and do it has put me off visiting again x

Fantastic fish and chips - the best I have had for a very long time. I will revisit again. We did not realise there was a proper sit down restaurant there and stumbled upon it.

Waited in a queue for 18 minutes for 1 bag of chips while they were frying fish and completing telephone orders,I did ask when I went in how long it would take,but they just ignored me,more like a benefits street chippy than a quality establishment.
