Coffee#1 Leek in Staffordshire Moorlands

Great vibe and plenty of places to sit. Served quickly and the coffe was good. I found there was enough privacy between tables to be able to talk privately and it wasn't too loud or crowed. Reasonable prices and plugs available by some tables if you are wanting to find a place to work for a bit.

Love it here. Staff are very friendly. They allow well behaved dogs and do great lattes and choice of cakes. Would highly recommend.

Rude staff member, young woman with dyed red hair, could barely bring herself to talk to us. No queue in front waiting for drinks but let us stand at the counter for ages. There was no eye contact when addressing me and my friend, indeed she turned away while we answered so we didn't know if she was talking to us or not! Tables dirty, not cleaned in the hour we were there, about an hour. Coffee and cake ok.

I visited this store on Thursday 21st. Coffee was good, toastie was nice too but the two adult members of staff neither of them in uniform, giggling like teenagers, very flirtatious. As I stood waiting for my order I overhead them talking about how one had been tickling the other. Both lacking professionalism. I am assuming that they are cover staff from elsewhere. The lady working looked familiar but I have never seen the man working in there before. Definitely a big difference from the usual friendly and welcoming members of staff. Hoping my next visit is more pleasant.

This place is great if you like extremely slow service and Luke warm coffee. There were only two people in front of me ordering coffee but it took 20 minutes to get served. There were three people behind the counter , so no excuse really. I waited because I do like the coffee from coffee no. 1 but wish I hadn’t bothered. I have been to a few different coffee no.1s but this is by far the worst I have been to. Hopefully they get better management, I think they need it. Someone with a bit of oomph and can serve a decent hot coffee and not something Luke warm. Don’t think I’ll be going back !

Popped in for a coffee on Friday afternoon and despite being busy had a lovely welcome and service. Thanks Dan (or Ben?)

Great coffee and ambiance spoilt by the slow service and waiting time. I can't really see the reason for this as three staff were being the counter. Unfortunately this seems to occur every time we've been in. Get a move on it could be great.
