Coffee Club Restaurant in West Dunbartonshire

Waiting over an hour for food and order came wrong. Wasn’t told of any significant wait for food when seated at our table. Drinks were served straight away and long gone by the time food arrived, were not offered a refresh This happened before and we decided to try once more. Won’t be back

I go to the coffee club every week. The food is fantastic and i personally love the afternoon teas which are also available for take away. I have been in many places for afternoon tea and here is the best. Even better than the central hotel. They will cater for what you prefer and are happy to do so. They now have pods that can be booked and are open in the evenings. Staff are lovely and friendly and happy to help. They are licenced and sell the most amazing choice of home made cakes etc. Plenty parking. Def worth a visit.

We have the most amazing time at the pods tonight. We booked a pod for 5 of my friends and I for a catch up. The pod £30 to book which includes full table service so no need to leave the cosy pod!! Michelle and the team are the most amazing bunch of people they can’t do enough for you!! The food as always was outstanding so tasty and loads of it!! We ordered haggis Bon Bon’s and bruschettas to start then the Philly steak ciabattas and two Cajun chicken pasta!! Really enjoy my experience every time I come along! We will be back again soon!! Thank you

Love the coffee club, came with the girls for lunch in the wee pod, comes with a speaker, heater and blankets. everything about the place is fab. Food, drinks, cakes staff all amazing. Thanks Michelle and girls for an amazing service as always. See yous soon

Went after recommendations from friends. Was told a 30 minutes wait which was fine but it taken 55 minutes to arrive and it was just sandwich, panini and soup. Sandwich was nice but the panini lacked filling. Couldn’t believe the wait. Had to speak to staff to see where it was as a number of people who came in after us got their food before us. Girl was very nice and offered us some free drinks however experience was gone. The door was also broken and me and another customer had to keep getting up to close it.

Just back from our first evening meal at the Coffee Club since it has been opened at night. Excellent experience. We went for a family/friends meal with kids in tow and the staff couldn't be any more accommodating. The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and attentive and nothing was too much hassle. The food was really good and of a high standard. We had a selection of pizzas, pastas, and classic steak pie and all our meals were really tasty, good portion sizes, and were excellent value for money. Our group finished of our meal with some of their excellent cakes which really hit the spot. Overall, it was a lovely night in a local restaurant that were on no hurry to chase us out. The staff were great with the kids and made our experience one to remember. If you are ever in the Clydebank area I would highly recommend the Coffee Club for an evening meal as it is a local hidden gem.

Well, I am not sure where to start. We had the most amazing time, the staff went above and beyond for us, They truly made our night special. We hired one the outside pods, so cosy, heater, Sony blue tooth and throws. The food was amazing. We were looked after by Michelle and honestly she was absolutely brilliant. I will definitely be recommending to work colleagues and family to try this place. Did not disappoint.

Went for dinner with friends and family for my birthday in one of the domes - dome was fantastic, staff couldn’t be any nicer their service was spot on - food was delicious and the portions were huge! A huge thanks to Michelle for running in and out in that rain - will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family.

Great food. We all enjoyed a variety if dishes. I had Steak pie with mash - delicious! Only £ 12 25. Hearty portion, tasty. gravy. Lovely friendly staff. Would recommend!

Wow food was fantastic as per usual from the starters to the main meal and then a sneaky wee cake for my supper later and then the staff makes you feel so welcomed and top service all round but most of all the food was delicious and so fulfilling….. and can’t wait to visit again 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

Was here for afternoon tea for my friends birthday. Service was fab and Michelle took great care of us all. Food was delicious and can’t wait to come back again.

First time being here had seen it on Instagram and food was amazing we had Mia casa from the pasta menu it was amazing, kids enjoyed there pizza aswell !! Staff were friendly and attentive. Will be back and would like to try domes next time .

Best food ive had in so long. Ordered steak from the new nightime menu and honestly was the best steak ive had in ages. Staff were super friendly and the cocktails were too good!! Cant wait to go back!! Best place in Clydebank by far !!

I have to agree entirely with previous reviewers, the service in here was always efficient with table service & food arriving in a reasonable timescale. Today was just AWFUL, we were told it would take some time for the food. Firstly waiting in a queue to place an order with only one person taking the order took ages & a further 30 minutes for 2 sandwiches is just unacceptable, it’s hardly a la carte! I asked the Manager if there was a kitchen problem, he said “They are too slow “ to which I Agreed, there was a half hearted apology but essentially couldn’t care less. The place is mobbed & raking in a lot of cash, but going peak time (midday!) will be a no go for me. They really need to have better systems in place to cope with demand, I hope other customers vote with their feet & don’t return; Sadly I will be one of them. However praise to the girl taking the orders & doing the drinks, she copes marvellously, a real asset.

Visited today and as usual, welcomed by friendly staff, and the food was great. All covid safety precautions in place.

My otger half and I regularly go to the coffee club. I cannot praise the staff enough and the quality of food is amazing. Afternoon tea is a must.

Great little place for breakfast or lunch, particularly for us veggies. The portions are great and the food is always fabulous. Staff friendly and welcoming. Will defo be back soon.

I love the food and staff here and come regularly. However recently when I noticed staff cleaning tables, they did not wipe chairs. We all touch the chair to pull it in/out so please sanitise these so we can all keep safe!!

Took kids for a bite of lunch. Waitress informed the kids they would get ice cream as a desert as part of the meal deal. Paid upfront, best part of 40 pounds of my grad earned money for a adult chicken and two kids portions. When I asked for the ice creams the owner said it was a new member of staff and the ice creams should not have been offered. I thought this was poor and the kids were bitterly disappointed. Won't be back. Rude owner and I have never seen customer care like this before.

I used this around 3-4 times a week due to locality and driving range we go from coffees to meals and I find the review from July re rude staff so out of character for this place, I’ve never had one negative experience, there are members of staff who’ve been there since the start and are on first name terms with a high proportion of customers which is a nice touchI can’t recommend this place enough Best Lentil soup going please don’t let that July review put you off it’s not indicative of this place at all

First time at this restaurant and I will not be making a return. Front of house member of staff extremely rude upon arrival, my friend ordered her food and it was all wrong, the whole order was wrong! While eating my meal I found a hair among my chips, I made it clear to the member of staff who seemed to be in charge and he made a very sarcastic snide joke that it was my own, when it wasn’t!! He offered me a fresh portion of chips but I politely declined. When leaving I said to a waitress that I was very displeased by this, that it wasn't very pleasant and that I wasn’t happy. The manager told me ‘I was a joke’ asked what I wanted him to do and laughed in my face, he also said it was my fault I didn’t want the fresh portion of chips and told me to ‘move on’. He also tried to defend himself by saying ‘what do you want me to do, you are sitting outside it’s natural’, I disagreed with him. At this point I was very embarrassed as I was only making a point and I became mortified by the way he spoke to me, his customer service skills were absolutely appalling. He later came back put £3 on the table and said ‘there’s your refund honey’ in a very snarky and sarcastic tone. I think it’s absolutely appalling that I was only making a point and he embarrassed me and tried to defend himself. Rude members of staff and not a way to make a customer feel when they have payed for food and it’s not up to the standard that they expect!!!

This is the second time I’ve visited this place had a coffee the first time, but this time went for lunch with friends, service staff were great and the food we ordered was lovely we then went on to have tea with scones jam and cream which were amazing, would highly recommend this place. It does tend to get very busy

First time visiting yesterday and was very impressed. As the cafe is attached to the golf range and shop, expected it to be pretty basic but was very comfortable, very clean and offered a substantial selection of dishes and fabulous cakes with friendly staff. Worth a visit!

We were visiting the golf range next door and had actually intended to go elsewhere for lunch . I’m glad we didn’t . The staff were nice and fiendly . The food was good and the portions were decent . The Chinese chicken noodle soup of the day was really good .. the place was busy so it’s obviously popular .. we will definitely be back .

We go here at least once a month as my hubby likes the range nearby and golf shop.The food in here is always lovely but their seats are beginning to let it down.That’s a few times we have been and noticed the seats are grubby and in need of a deep clean better still re upholster them.I’ve had to wipe food off mine a few times and they are built in food on some of the chairs:(Not very hygienic please think about re upholstering your seats.Also it would not take 10 min for staff-to constantly be out hoovering the carpet at the outside area it can be very off putting eating outside when foods lying on the carpet.Also please give your toilets a makeover they are dire.The step up is really bad for older people and really these toilets are well overdue a make over.

I’ve visited here a few times for coffee and a scone with friends but had never had a meal here. (By the way - the scones are amazing). We knew they have a vegan menu which suits my daughter so went along for food one Saturday night. The Coffee Club has to be one of the cleanest restaurants you will ever visit. Friendly, welcoming staff, good menu choices and reasonable prices. Our choices were a Cajun Club Sandwich, a Philly Steak Baguette and a Vegan Santa Fe Burger. Each one was excellent and the best choice I think, for vegan food in the area. With 3 soft drinks the total was just under £35. Will definitely be back.

Visited good Friday with my family, cafe was very quiet due to the good weather which was probably the only plus point to the visit. Firstly given cans that I don’t think had been in the fridge at all. The ice pretty much melted as soon as I’d poured the drink into the glass. Ordered a steak fajita wrap for myself and was honestly so disappointed when it arrived. The first bite out of it was a grizzly bit of meat and pretty chewy, sadly it didn’t improve at all, I’m not sure how on earth you can class that seasoning as fajita. It was SO BLAND. It was served with salsa and sour cream so unwrapped the wrap and chucked some of that on hoping for some flavour but disappointed once again. Not quite sure how you can go wrong with possibly bought in salsa, but if that’s home made then what a poor show. Literally the blandest fajitas I’ve ever encountered, you’d definitely be better off buying a box kit and making your own. Not once were we asked how our food was, or any kind of service really other than at the till where the order was taken, and it wasn’t particularly busy as mentioned before so there’s no excuse really. Left without ordering dessert this time and in all honestly not sure I’ll be back again. Used to be an old favourite, been gradually going down hill for a while. Prices just don’t reflect the quality of food sadly.

The coffee club is genuinely a little hidden gem... The food here is all fresh and delicious and does not scrimp on the portion sizes, you truly get what you pay for. I come here very regularly as the staff are amazing and always full of chat & smiles & really do go out there way to make you feel welcome.Also the coffee & cakes are some what of the best I have tasted!! They are all fresh & home baked with love!If you are local I totally recommend that you try here as you will not be disappointed,My favourite place to brunch without a doubt.

"The Coffee Club" food is first class, especially their baked potatoes. The potatoes are cooked properly, in an oven, and not a microwave! They always have plenty of tasty fillings too! If you then have space, order a scone! They are made on the premises and they are fantastic! I have never been disappoined, in lunch, or just coffee and cake. I am, also, pleased to see, that they are keeping up with the coffee trends, and have soya and coconut milk choices! And a vegan & gluten free menu! First class establishment!

This is a coffe shop attached to a golf range. Prices for too expense for a cafe. £6 for a small baked potato with coronation chicken and a spoonful of salad which had to be sent back because it was cold. Giving you pats of butter to put in a potato already filled , what’s that all about. Children menu can be for kids or OAPS. Mac and chees with no chips and a half cooked slice of garlic bread cost over £5. Also you have to go up and order and pay. I did see some of the sandwiches which looked great but I won’t be back

We were disappointed in the turkey used in our Christmas lunch. It was poor quality, tasteless and not at all what you would expect from this establishment. The rest of the meal i.e. veg, stuffing etc was fine. The dessert was lovely and all presented in a nice way. Following on from this meal we had another two Christmas lunches with proper carved turkey elsewhere at a more reasonable cost.

As a family & with friends we’ve been visiting for lunches & tea and cakes since the coffee club opened. We went today for lunch and, as always, the staff, service & food was excellent. We have never been disappointed and it’s still a great venue with great food.

We have had several visits here for breakfasts, lunches or just a cuppa and cake. Food is high quality and served quickly by very friendly staff Would highly recommend 😊

I have visited this place a few times and each and every time I have been impressed! Food quality is fantastic. Price is reasonable. Lovely and clean. Staff are great. They have various selections for people with allergies. Well worth a visit!

Would be nice if the restaurant could incline one or two vegan options. Otherwise nice atmosphere, lovely staff, good service.

If you've not been yet you need to go. Menu is fantastic. Clearly marked gluten free menu. Halloumi & pepper kebab was delicious as were the fruit scones & coffee.

Me encanta me encanta este lugar! ! Jack y su equipo son siempre muy acogedor y el menú es delicioso! Desde aperitivos, sopas, sándwiches y paninis a elementos del menú como la torta de carne y pollo goujons. Hay algo para todos, mi favorito era el papa al horno con atún y cebolla. Este lugar es un tesoro escondido y yo soy feliz de ser un visitante regular.

Great wee place to meet up with friends although it can be busy at lunchtime and weekends, it's perfect for a good ol' catch up! Good is great, portions very big and great value for money! Outstanding choice of cakes and pastries!! 🥐🥗🍟🍪☕️🍰

A hidden gem tucked at the side of the Golf Driving range that offers a fantastic and refreshing choice of dinner/lunch menus and its as fresh as you can get, try the toasted bagel with salmon and crème fresh or the goats cheese salad. Not too expensive but very very tasty... shhhhh.

Estábamos en la tienda de golf y decidimos llamar a almorzar - resultó ser una sabia elección. El café estaba lleno, pero el personal era muy atento. Gran variedad de clientes. Buenas instalaciones para niños. La comida estaba bien preparada y presentada de forma muy eficiente por el personal muy agradable y eficiente. La buena gestión de la mesa se aseguró que había hecho el mejor uso de la cafetería. El ambiente era muy bueno. En general, una experiencia muy positiva. Supongo que esto será muy popular entre los golfistas y gente local. La eficiencia parecía sugerir que sería bueno para el personal de empresas locales por tiempo limitado buscando una comida a un precio razonable.

Estado aquí un par de veces y tengo que decir que la comida es muy buena y bien presentada. He tenido el almuerzo y la cena, ambos muy bonito. Tienes que colocar su pedido y pagar en el bar que no sea el adecuado para algunos, pero para nosotros no fue un problema. Hay mesas fuera para cuando el clima es agradable. Lo único es que el restaurante puede ser ocupado en el almuerzo, obviamente muy popular, así que conseguir un asiento puede ser difícil. Personal amable y servicial también.

Fuimos esta mañana para dos desayuno, té y café, factura total £19. 80, un desayuno con pan frito, llegó la otra tenía tostadas? Aunque no tostadas menú? Ambos huevos fritos estuvieron sólidos, haggis era insípida, bacon estaba hecha.

Encantadora comida casera recién preparada de sopa de pastas, hamburguesas, sándwiches tartas y bollos con crema de leche y mermelada. delicioso!

Simply the best food I have had by far, we even go for dinner sometimes in the evening as well as breakfast and lunch.

Have eaten here several times over the years, their breakfasts are wonderful. My personal favourite of french toast, crispy bacon & maple syrup is the best I've ever tasted! It's always busy but always cheery staff there to meet you!

Enjoyed a lunch and came back for cake and coffee later it was so good. Extensive menu caters for all tastes with lots of choice. Hot chocolate can be highly recommended.

Have visited this bistro many times over the years, for breakfast, lunch, coffee and cakes. It is within the Great Western Road Driving range complex, so is veryaccessible by car and excellent parking facilities.Food is of a very good quality and standard, freshly prepared and service is always prompt, despite being constantly busy and prices are good when considering the quantity. Would definitely recommend.

Decided to finally visit after seeing so many mouth watering pics of the food. We weren't disappointed. Great prices, child friendly. We have found our new meeting place. Not one bad thing to say about the place, can't wait to go back!

This place makes me so happy. I always go to catch up with friends & spend all afternoon eating & chatting!! Sometimes you struggle to get a seat however this only emphasises how good it actually is. I regularly visit coffee club and I am never disappointed. The food is always made fresh and of a high standard. The soups is delicious & the cake counter never disappoints! The coffees are gorgeous and and served by very friendly, chatty staff who make you feel very welcome. Highly recommend the Mexican club sandwich and the soup is always a winner! Everyone I have brought here has never been disappointed & the polite staff and clean surroundings make the visit even more enjoyable. Can't wait to come back !

Came here as we were visiting world of golf. Food was amazing really enjoyed it and was good price would definetly come back.

Very nice loose leaved tea and yummy scones with jam and cream. Saw other meals coming out of the kitchen and they too looked good. Combine this with a visit to Jurassic Parrr crazy golf and a good time will be had by all.

Stumbled across here by accident. It has a licensed bar and does a variety of lovely food. Good for families. I'd highly recommend the chicken goujons........and their scones and Banana cake were glorious!!!!

Situated within the world of golf shop and range this is the perfect place to relax after hitting a few balls. Good range of snacks, meals or cakes. Food appears to be cooked to order so there will be a little wait. Soup is home made and very tasty. Nice, bright and comfortable. Prices pretty reasonable with generous portion sizes.toilets shared with the golf range and are a bit industrial but clean.

Lovely friendly place to unwind meet friends and enjoy delicious homemade soups panini and fabulous scones! Staff are very attentive friendly and courteous! It's a little gem you want to return to again and again- and we do!

We visited the Coffee Club late morning and found the place to be a lovely comfortable, bright, clean environment. We had a great choice of croissants, scones and cakes that were all big enough to be considered a meal! No complaints there. Good turnover of tables and the meals we saw looked well presented and appetising. Staff were efficient and friendly, contributing to the relaxed atmosphere. Good as a destination or as a stop off en route elsewhere.

Clean, nice surroundings, lovely coffee and smashing rolls and sausage. Pay a visit to this place, worth it.

Ideal for lunch with friends, and easy to reach from west side of Glasgow. Not fancy, but high quality of what it does. How often do you get a baked potato that's been sitting for ages and tastes of nothing? Not here - fluffy, fresh, with very generous fillings. Same goes for chips, not that I indulge personally, but I do like to help out a friend.

On first impressions it looked lovely. Well laid out, spacious and light. Nicely decorated. Then, when trying to find a table for 4 found the comfy areas had restrictions of 5+. Sat at the comfy couches anyway. On closer inspection the place lacked attention to cleaning. The menus were sticky and tops of condiments hadnt seen a cloth for a while either. Although we arrived about 2pm on a Sunday, most of the tables, chairs and floors around us were in need a brush. Fortunately the food was more impressive. Although, both my kids disliked their ice cream?!? Will not return as considering it wasnt a cheap cafe, their attention to cleanliness has put me off returning.

My husband and I took my grandson to play on the range at golf and we decided to have a bite to eat after they were finished we have eaten before and it was ok we ordered the chick goujons half way through one I noticed it was raw so my husband took it back to say (very discreetly may I add) but when he spoke to the assistant she said she would show her boss and on her return she said she was sorry and would he like a couple of coffees he said thank you but no thank you so when we where ready to leave he got the bill and noticed that the price for the meal he did not eat was still on the bill on pointing this out he was told that he had been offered some coffee he told the young lady he had no intentions on paying for a meal that could have given him salmonella poison she then said she would have to speak to her boss again and tell him what he had said we also informed her I had taken a picture and if feel ill that I would be informing the environmental health they did under duress take the money off so I don't think we will anytime soon be eating there again

Was here today, food is ok and price is reasonable. They have a very annoying process of putting reserved signs on tables with four or more seats saying they are for parties 4+ only. Had to pull 2 small tables together to fit three of us. If your planning a 3 person visit try ditch one of them to save yourself any hassle. Apart from that if you dont mind old chaps cutting about with golf clubs now and again I recommend it.

Took a friend for a meal here recently .Situated within a golf range but food good staff fine food not bad perhaps a bit crowded but thats a good sign people must find it fine.Prices reasonable all in all worth a visit.

The coffee shop is based within same building as World of Golf as some people may drive by and not even realise it's there. It is definitely worth visiting. My husband and I ate here today with our 2 kids and thoroughly enjoyed it. Just under £30 for 2 kids burger and fries(skinny chips which kids prefer to chunky ones) I had a tuna baguette and my husband had barbecue burger and chunky chips,2 large draft coke and 2 small draft lemonade for the kids, it's not cheap but quality of food is good and we felt worth it, service from staff is good and although it was really busy we didn't have to wait too long on our food to be brought out. (Few mistakes on what we ordered, the girl realised as soon as she brought out the kids burgers that they were supposed to be without cheese,she apologised and took them away to get them replaced with fresh ones after a short wait but wouldn't complain about this as it could happen anywhere and it was really busy) We have ate here before but this is first time I have put in review as it is definitely somewhere we will come back to and would recommend.

Coffee club is based within the world of golf & ive had a coffee on previous visits, but today my friend & i decided to stay for lunch... there is a good varied selection to choose from, we both opted for soup & sandwich, it was delicious, i had the sweet potato & chick pea soup, my friend had lentil, the sandwiches were well filled with out chosen filling & came with side salad & coleslaw, well presented & excellent value for money... Lovely surroundings to relax & could have quite easily sat there all day.. staff were pleasant & very attentive.. will certainly make a point of going for lunch again... sooner rather than later!

We visited today for the first time after reading trip advisor customer reviews and would wholeheartedly agree it is a great place to relax and sample the huge scones. We were so taken aback with the size we took one home for later. The atmosphere today was pleasant, the staff good, the owner very helpful. The menu looks good. We look forward to returning to try something from it. For the quality of the tea etc the value was excellent.

Based within World of Golf. My boyfriend is a keen golfer and we visit the coffee club whenever he's at the range. Lovely coffee and home baking. I'm sure you have gathered already that the scones are mega scones. Good varied menu at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit

I've been a regular customer here for quite a while and I've never been disappointed.The Coffee Club is part of the World of Golf facility so it's a popular place for golfers to go to for food and or drink before or after golfing at the range. You don't have to be a golfer to go though - the Cafe is open to the general public.The menu is varied, coffee is really good and the large scones which come with cream and jam are scrumptious, but sometimes can be on the large side.There is always a choice of at least 2 soups which taste homemade and are quite filling.If you are in the area pop in for some food and very friendly service. You won't be disappointed.
