Titan in West Dunbartonshire

Good parking and easy to get to. Food was good and I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact my steak was overdone. Everyone else enjoyed their food and would definitely go back. Prices are also very reasonable in today’s market when eating out.

Went here and had a thoroughly tasty and good value cooked breakfast. Staff were super friendly and service was quick. If I had to point out a negative it's that I think they should give you 2 slices of toast for the 99p supplement, especially as they give you 2 potato scones or 3 hash browns for the same price. Apart from that it was all good and I'll definitely be back again.

Been there quite regular but went on Friday with my son, and had the chicken sandwich on garlic ciabbatta chicken was burnt and inedible after 40 mins server approached me food was left untouched was not offered for it to be removed from my bill only thing I was offered was another 40 mins after my son had already finished eating, so still paid for both meals even though mines was untouched and inedible will not be returning due to kitchen and mostly the lack of service and interest

Had a very expensive meal not charged the prices quoted on menu. When questioned didn't get any real answer that satisfied me. Won't be back

Was at a birthday party only one member of staff on, we were clearing our tables of empty glasses ourselves to help barman out, my daughter cut her leg at start of night on corner of stage, several times told bar man nd was still not taped to let people be aware this was a jagging bit of steel sticking out

I and my family are regular attenders here and will most definitely go again. The quality and affordabilty of the food and variety are excellent and the staff are very welcoming.

We had booked for Christmas Dinner and had a mixed experience. When we arrived we had barely sat down and our starters were brought out. Our drinks had been forgotten about and I had to ask a server. At this point we felt very rushed but fortunately things did get better. We thought the overall atmosphere could have been better and several customers remarked that they were not playing Christmas music for some reason? This would definitely have helped. Our starters and desserts very very good and the 3 people that had the Turkey really enjoyed it. However I had the steak and it wasn't as adversed and definitely not as good as previous years. It was supposed to be served with burnt ends and a beef and merlot gravy which sounded great However it wasn't but instead served with pulled beef which added nothing to the dish and was very blanned. The steak was also overcooked and disappointing compared to previous years. Overall definitely a mixed bag but previous Christmas dinners have been better.

We are always met with friendly staff and our food is fab my son travels from Carmyle to meet us and my granddaughters travel from Maryhill

There was a party of 23 of us the staff where excellent and the festive Menu we ordered from was great value the food was also very good but again the staff where the people who helped make the evening very enjoyable this is the second year we have had a large group to this restaurant and will be back as I can't praise the staff and establishment enough

Amazing been twice recently and both times were very busy with a quick happy cheery service. Food was served beautifully and was delicious. Very clean toilets and easy accessable parking.

Re Breakfast with Santa,Visited this morning breakfast was COLD and eggs half cooked! Once a staff member was aware it was replaced. Was disappointed at the kids menu and it's not worth the money. Sorry to the lovely staff - Buddy and friends - would neither recommend or return.

Came here after a stressful morn/school run it was pleasantly peaceful and warmly welcomed by the manager, Had a lovely hot full cooked breakfast with a fresh orange and coffee,. Defo is my return place now to unwind, refuel and be ready for my day ahead. Thanks titan

Second time here, food is ok though they really need to improve the vegetarian options. 1st time here got the halloumi burger, tasteless. Thought I’d give it another go, wanted to order the baked potato with cheese and beans as I knew I would enjoy it but the manager said I couldn’t as it was on the children’s menu. So I ordered the roasted vegetable lasagne which came with a side salad, I also ordered the garlic bread which was extra. Well what can you say? The dish came, smallest portion I’d ever seen, even looking at the slice of lasagne you could tell it was microwaved and just wasn’t appealing looking. First forkful and it was inedible, absolutely disgusting, ate the garlic bread and salad, ( which was nice and fresh). Told the waitress how bad the lasagne was, manager came about 5 minutes later and gave me a refund of £2.80 and asked if I wanted a pudding. Just to say to the manager, when I had originally asked for the baked potato which would have been money well spent as I would have probably enjoyed that, why couldn’t I have it? Whether it’s on the kids menu or not?? It makes no sense. So I shall be giving the Titan a body swerve from now on, even the friend that had chicken and wings, at just under £16.00, said it was edible, the chicken, not so much the rice, said it wasn’t worth it.

we are regular customers and the manager James is really pleasant and constantly asks if everything’s ok and looks after the customers well we get a lovely breakfast and good value for money so go and have a go just ask for james and you will be well looked after

Just spent 5 nights at The Titan - great hotel, bar and staff. Booked two single rooms - small but exactly what we wanted for our trip and were as advertised. Check in was easy and the manager booking us in was really helpful and friendly and made sure we had the number to phone if needed assistance. The rooms were clean, warm, beds comfortable and the shower was hot. Housekeeping staff (including the lovely Clare) checked that you had everything you needed and were on hand every morning to ask for fresh towels/more tea & coffee etc. Great breakfast range and although we did not eat there in the evening there was plenty of choice on offer. Plenty of staff in the bar and whenever they weren't serving you they were ensuring the bar and restaurant were fully stocked and scrupulously clean. Great value! Would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Had a launch here today. Great staff,great food and excellent value. Two classic pub meals for 12.50 £ Absolutely superb. Clean,tidy and tasty food. Recommending.

Got burgers ,smaller than usual, no taste ,measely amount of chips.very disappointing.went again today dinner great.child put pound in machine ,it wouldn't work ,tried to get money back, couldn't ,asked to get money back ,lady said nothing I can do.one pound down for eight year old, not good.went again today got chicken burger ,over cooked very crunchy, grandson got steak ,very tuff ,I tasted a bit really chewy, wife got fish with it was not hot ,very mediocre food but the drinks were good and a very pleasant woman serving at till with great costumer service.

Stopped off for breakfast on a Sunday morning it was very quiet and plenty of tables, staff are very friendly and the food is as you would expect gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as I didn't feel there was enough choice on the menu for breakfast, prices are the same as other similar places such as weatherspoons, nice big carpark which was a bonus given the location.

Normally I enjoy the Titan . Today was the worst experience ever , asked for my curry to take away after asking 2 staff . eventually someone came over and put dirty plates on top of the one I said I wanted to take away . After I said that’s to take away he said well I haven’t got any containers . So rude I won’t be back !

Had not been to The Titan for a long time, and was pleasantly surprised. Greeted by Erin with a smile, who also recommended from the menu, (menu had been revised since last time, and was good choice), also the one who took our order at the time (canot remember his name) was very helpful. Good value for money, would now recommend The Titan and will be back.

Visited for dinner this evening with friends, first time dining at the titan. Its typical fare for this type of restaurant, but a lot of choice on the menu. Very reasonable prices, particularly for the drinks. We had the cluck n cheese starter which was very good. Burgers were nice (portions for the mains are quite large, too much for us, but if you didn't have a starter then it would be more manageable) and desserts were good. Overall staff were friendly and Erin provided us with very good service. Atmosphere was good in the restaurant. Overall we had a surprisingly nicer meal than we expected. I would be happy to return

The food here is outstanding as is the price. Really impressed with the deals. Thursdays there is an option to eat for £10, different deal every day means you will always get great food at an affordable price. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff made this all the more pleasurable place to eat with the family. Will definitely be back soon.

Was in the restaurant last night (6.7.24) and 2 of the staff were rude and 100% out of order with the way they spoke to our party and also the party at the next table. One female in particular who we think was a manager was so very rude with the way she spoke to people, actually demanded 2 grown adults handed over their vapes (seriously put her hand out as if they were children) even though one of them was vaping outside & not inside the restaurant, she was so disrespectful to one of the people at our party that they left and at that point she went over to a barman & they had a laugh and a joke at the situation. Manners and customer service were defo 100% not on the menu tonight!!!!!! Update - I must admit the reply from the restaurant was as expected tbh!!!!! Nothing but lies, it would be good to check the cctv and see that both parties (who were not together, only sitting next to each other) were not causing any hassle & only trying to have a nice meal and a few drinks. Every other staff member were very helpful apart from the two I mentioned & I can assure you she did have a laugh at the barman as I witnessed it myself & I was on soft drinks………… I live in Scotland so know the vaping rules thank you.

Went for a meal here a couple weeks ago. Food was really good fish and chips fresh and amazing, steak pie was tasty and piping hot, kids burger was perfect good quality apart from the bun was hard but staff gave him a new bun and very quickly sorted it out. Portions are huge very good value for the price, Great family friendly atmosphere staff really friendly even though the place was mobbed and they were busy. Will definitely be back.. huge improvement from the last time we came here years ago.. came back to try again after reading good reviews and so glad we did, keep it up Titan. 5 Stars

Steak was inedible, couldn't even cut it..ordered rare, got medium dried out. Chips (which i didn't ask for) were overdone and soggy, peas were burnt. Food was awful last time but gabe it another chance. Waste of money. Was also over charged. Avoid.

We just came here for food I had chicken korma my partner had salmon which he was very disappointed he ended up with bad stomach for 2 days the salmon must have been off I was fine though.

A one night stop on way to loch Lomand - took a while to check in but cause was computer being a bit slow but staff was apologetic and very friendly. Eventually checked in and room clean and perfectly acceptable. Had a meal in pub attached the steak and starters were excellent and again the service was A+ both in terms of friendly and speed.
