Code 34 in Nottingham

Called on a Friday night wasn''t too busy but stiil had to wait nearly 20 minutes for 2 cocktails. My Long Island Ice Tea was nice what there was of it after you consider the size of the block of ice in the glass was not far off the size of a Mars bar. Nice decor but £20 for 2 cocktail's. Had better for far cheaper!!!

What a great place Code34 in Nottingham is!! Dave is awesome, makes the best cocktails outside London/Manchester!! Should be surfing in Cali though...The owner is lovely, the atmosphere is great too, great music!!

The bar itself was okay.However the staff was incredibly rude, it took over 15 mins to make 2 cocktails while the bar was almost empty. Their pornstart martini was badly made. I had to ask them to remake it which is something I never do, however the drink was so bad I could not even drink it. When they brought it back to me it tasted even worse than the first one.

Expensive bar but great cocktails and amazing customer service, the place has a nice vibe with music and wasn't to busy. We didn't have food.

Over the summer we held a 50th birthday party at Code 34, and took over the entire venue. We were a bit last minute with deciding on a party and spoke to a couple of venues, but once we chatted with Code 34, we decided instantly. They were absolutely great from start to finish. We explained we like certain type of beers, they contacted the brewery for us to get some in stock (particularly lovely of them given they are a cocktail bar!). We had pizzas served throughout the evening, which our friends and family loved (this included catering for any specific dietary requirements). We were able to have our own playlist, show a video of embarrassing photos of the birthday boy, and we made sure our group had the option to enjoy the amazing cocktails as well as beer. Everyone we've spoken to who celebrated with us commented on how great the evening was, how nice the staff were, the food and the atmosphere in general. If you're looking for a venue for a private function, then i would absolutely recommend Code 34. They will listen to your ideas and work with you to make it a success. Thank you to the entire Code 34 team for making my event a great one. I hosted Single & Mingle, Nottingham's #1 Social for Professional Singles, at Code 24 in July and can't wait to work with them again. The staff were attentive and clearly enjoyed their work. The venue felt cosy and intimate - perfect for my event. And my guests commented on what a lovely place it was. None of them had been before, and so now they have a new cocktail bar and Italian bistro on their radar. I'm looking forward to hosting future events with Code 34 and highly recommend them for private hire, or a pre/post-theatre drink or three.

Code 34 is a nice little cocktail bar. The choice of drinks was good, the decor quirky and music slightly alternative which gave it a nice, casual vibe. There are "speciality" cocktails on the board and the standard selection. The friendly staff also advised they make off menu cocktails if you want. Only slightly odd thing is that the cocktail bar was open downstairs, so we were greeted at the door by someone, then walked through what looked like a closed restaurant area, to the back stairs and down into the bar. From outside it wasn't clear it was open or what we were walking into.

Simple food, good quality and reasonable price (by 2023 standards). Eating out in UK has become more expensive in recent years.

An absolute find. Tried three other cocktail bars and they were either closed or private functions. Was walking by and noticed a wee table outside. Happy fate Friday. Fabulous cocktails, excellent service and really great music. Back in two weeks for another gig and this will be my first and only watering hole stop.

The food and cocktails are amazing and such friendly staff! The bar down stairs has AC and has a rustic feel. When I contacted the staff online they responded fast and we're so friendly. Would recommend!

Great place with tasty food, reasonably priced food.

Went for lunch. Great service, really friendly and nice atmosphere. Flood was tastey quick and reasonably priced. Would definitely return to try the cocktails in the evening sometime!

What a find. On a busy Saturday when everywhere to eat was packed and queuing we discovered this place and received a very warm and friendly welcome. We sat in the window with a fab view of the beautiful Theatre Royal which was lit up as dusk was approaching. The food was lovely and quickly served and we then went downstairs to the cosy, atmospheric cocktail bar which put us in the party mood. Would highly recommend a visit or two.

Food was very basic, not very tasty and the portion sizes were tiny. (The pizza sauce tasted like a can of Heinz tomato soup) However the atmosphere and staff were generally very nice.

Brilliant high quality cocktails

Popped into this hidden gem by accident for lunch, service was spot on, polite, courteous and friendly. Food was lovely, we had the flat bread to share, which was yummy, side order of chips was delicious. Will venture again soon, tempted with the evening events of live vinyl dj.

Lovely place and Ehfan is a superb host who took care of is personally. Very enjoyable cheese board and house wine to pass the time.

We are staying in Nottingham and we discovered this restaurant with great pleasure. The dishes are really delicious and affordable. The staff is very welcoming and kind, we highly recommend this address! There was no one there when we arrived and we left, several customers were seated in the restaurant. Open the door to this establishment, you will not regret it!

So impressed by their Basil Smash and friendly service, we returned for some food on the second day of our weekend break. Sorry that we don't live in Nottingham, but we'll hopefully be back for another visit soon.

We went there for a quick lunch on a sunny day, they had good music playing. We sat outside on the corner. The staff were brilliant and enthusiastic, with some really nicely priced food!

Underground cocktail bar. Stumbled upon this place on a Saturday night and cannot understand why it was so quiet. Seating area was cool and quirky and cocktails and staff were fab! Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Really nice place, had a lovely pizza and then discovered it has an underground cocktail bar too! Really friendly staff and the kind of place you can have a conversation and a drink without being surrounded by teenage power drinkers.

Time was taken in adapting a dish to my preferences, service was friendly and flawless. The only minor issue was that the red wine , although excellent was strangely warm. They assured me this would be addressed.

The man at Code 34 was so friendly and chatty with us. It’s a nice little spot and perfect for a pint when it’s nice weather.

First time. Every bit of that Italian Piada and Pizza brought straight from their open kitchen. The palate satisfied with the richness of the brownie and downed with Latte. Service was pleasing and welcoming very warm. Maintained and practiced social distance and tables cleaned. Affordably priced also. Will certainly return. :)

Beautifully fresh healthy Italian food, went with my son today and staff were really attentive and helpful. Their pasta bowl was gorgeous and amazing fresh, the salmon was beautiful. Will definitely be returning.

Incredibly friendly service, not too expensive, pretty healthy depending on the extras you choose, and really cosy to eat in or give you very nice takeaway boxes. Run a really good loyalty card scheme too.

Really enjoyed this place. Delicious food and healthy too! We had spicy chicken salad with some awesome sun-dried tomato pesto and it was really great value. Perfect lunch spot and I think they're planning gigs, comedy nights and more... Very helpful staff, talked me through all the options and had a tailor made salad for about £6 so pretty good value IMO Looks quite cosy but with loads more seating downstairs Will definitely be back!

The food is delicious and fresh. You have the option to go and discuss your choices while they make your food (the children enjoyed choosing pizza toppings and seeing it made in front of their eyes). The quality of the food is only surpassed by the friendly attitude of the staff: we felt very cozy, it was like we would have been friends with them rather than their customers. The children want now to have their birthday parties here and that says it all. :)

Basically an 'Italian' Subway - the food is fine for a quick snack, but definitely on the pricy side. So why 4 stars? Brilliant service! All of the staff were really friendly and helpful, and the manager went out of his way to accommodate our party. Thank you!

Popped in this week for the first time after seeing the place over the past few weeks, I have a dairy allergy and they were so accommodating with this, I ordered a pizza with no cheese which they were able to do with no issues, all the staff were so lovely and welcoming, will definitely be returning with more friends! Also food was SO delicious and really good prices 👍🏼

The perfect place to grab a bite to eat! I wasn’t sure what food I fancied when I popped into the store for the first time. This was absolutely no trouble at all for the fantastic staff who welcomed me with a warm hello and a beaming smile. The young gentlemen behind the counter was kind enough to direct me through the whole process and helped me choose my perfect lunch! I felt very at home and had a lovely conversation with the young man who served me. The staff are brilliant and the food is divine. Would HIGHLY recommend (a new fave lunch spot!)

Oh wow. This place is incredible. I was a little skeptical because Nottingham has a lot of 'put stuff in wrap' type subway places - this one is different. How to order: - pick piada, pizza, pasta or salad - pick size - pick salt and oil - pick protien - pick saunce - pick 3 fillings - pick salad - pay! It may seem like a lot of options, but you end up creating something wonderful, and you get quick at it. You will tell the difference as soon as you taste the piada. The wrap itself tastes like a thing soft pizza base! Edit: This place is really good for Keto diet food in Nottingham

Wolf is an outstanding eatery. Although they have salad, piada and other options, I promptly ordered a hand made pizza and was thoroughly (droolingly) impressed. The range of toppings is fantastic and their portions are so generous, I could barely see the Base after adding marinated spicy chicken, red onion and greens after cooking. Absolutely stuffed: fantastic food Wolf 🐺 Keep it up!
