The woman behind the counter was so rude, I'm surprised she's even got customers.

Today 2 staff were talking to me, I was thanking one for my change when the other asked me a question that I’d already discussed (which would have been perfectly fine) . As someone with a hidden disability I can only concentrate on one thing so I tried my best to answer the question. The worker then tutted and sarcastically said “please”. Bearing mind I had used manners for everything other than that I thanked her for the ice cream and walked out. Then in front of everyone in the shop she said “so rude”. nice ice cream though

Nice place, and a good selection. But experience terrible because of one very rude lady (wearing glasses). When I went to pay for an ice-cream for the Granddaughter by contactless - she gave me a intense stare, and made a very loud sigh! All I can say is - if you don't wan't to take smaller payments by card - then politely say so. If that lady worked for me - she would be out of a job, and her reference would state that she is not the kind of person, that you would want in a public facing role.

Staff with glasses miserable and rude Don’t work In a shop that attracts kids obviously you don’t want to be there Not a welcoming experience won’t be using again Makes the ice cream taste sour !

Went for a day to Hornsea yesterday and as usual called at Huckleberry's for one their ice creams. A regular request of my grandson, as he loves the place. On the way home my grandson mentioned how he had been treat by one of the staff in Huckleberry's whilst I bought the ice creams. He said a "big" lady in glasses had snatched one of the cheap plastics toys out of his hands whilst he was looking at it, shouted something and put it back on display. Bless him, as he didn't mention it at the time, only when we were nearly home. Looking at the reviews, this individual (as described) has an attitude which lets the whole establishment down. So Huckleberry's, unless this description fits the owner???, I'd be having a quiet word in this females ear. You are sadly getting the wrong type of reputation.

Just been for a cup of tea. I asked the lady who served me if she could give another stair. God the look I got off her. And she half starred it. Wasn't as if they was no one else waiting to get served. She was not pleasant at all. They definitely was no need to be like that..

It's a genuine testament to how good Mr. Moo's ice cream is that no matter how miserable the old sourpuss who works behind the till attempts to make the process of buying one I keep coming back. 😊

I love coming here and sitting outside catching the sun and have the wind blowing in my face with a nice hot drink and now and then have a bite to eat. The staff are friendly and food and drink to your table (keep a hold of your ticket )they take away plate and cups and give it a clean so you and others use the tables outside.

Lovely friendly Cafe on the Prom, hot and cold drinks, snacks and Mr Moo's Ice-cream! Shop area - with beach items (shoes, hats etc), beach balls, kites, buckets and spades, souvenirs, sweeties etc. Accessibility - wide ramp to the side, no step in through the main manual glass door, which is usually open unless the weather is bad. Car Park - Council Pay and Display (including Badge Holders) Car Park across the road. Limited spaces and time on road parking near by. Paddling Pool (Council) - in front of the Cafe, maintained only during the summer. Seating - mainly outside with space for wheelchair users and mobility scooters. Staff - very friendly and helpful. Toilets - free accessible Public Toilets to the side and rear. Sorry didn't check disabled facilities, will update later. Views - great seaviews! On a clear day like today, you can see Bridlington and the Lighthouse on Flamborough Head.

We use the Beverley McDonald's most weekends at breakfast time. The staff are welcoming, focused and efficient. The restaurant is always clean and tidy, and the food is good. There are often families having breakfast. We are in the 60-70 year age group, we have met several regulars of a similar age, and we have a little chat. It's a friendly environment.
