Disappointing Experience – Burnt Parotas and Wrong Curry I recently ordered 3 parotas and ginger garlic chicken curry from your restaurant via Just Eat. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. The parotas were completely burnt and inedible, and the chicken curry I received was not the ginger garlic curry I ordered. It was a completely different dish, which was very disappointing. I expected better quality and accuracy, especially when ordering through a platform like Just Eat. This was not the first time I’ve ordered from this restaurant, but it will likely be the last unless improvements are made. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and ensures better quality control and order accuracy in the future.

I'm just wondering whether the 5-star review is genuine. I don't think I'd ever go back to this restaurant again. When I ordered lemon rice, I got rice with lime juice on top, which was absolutely sour. Kappa Briyani’s quality was not up to the standard. When I ordered masala chai, I got lemon tea, but I asked to be replaced. The service was a little bit slow. We need to improve food quality and listening skills when taking orders.

Disappointing Experience We ordered Chicken Mandhi, Kappa Biriyani, and Chicken 65, but the food was absolutely disappointing. The Chicken Mandhi and Kappa Biriyani were overloaded with whole spices, making them impossible to eat. The Chicken 65 was no better – nearly three-fourths of the portion was just ginger, garlic, and chili, with barely any chicken. The quality and taste were far below expectations, and it felt like no thought went into preparing the food properly. Definitely not worth the money or the effort. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

We visited the Royal Bakes Restaurant with the intention of ordering chicken mandi. Regrettably, the dish we received was of poor quality. The excessive use of spices overpowered the taste, rendering it unpalatable. Furthermore, the service provided was unsatisfactory. Despite expressing our concerns regarding the food, our feedback was disregarded. The entire meal was served cold and ultimately went to waste. Despite the poor experience, the full amount was charged. It is with great disappointment that I share this negative experience.

I regret to inform you that I had an extremely disappointing dining experience today. We placed an order for kanthari chicken manthi, red chilli chicken manthi, chicken 65, and kappa biriani. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was severely lacking. The manthi rice was excessively spiced, making it difficult to consume, and the chicken was devoid of flavor, possessing only artificial coloring. Furthermore, the chicken 65 contained an excessive amount of ginger, garlic, and chili, and the portion size was significantly smaller compared to other establishments. The service provided by the staff was also unsatisfactory. They appeared disinterested and unconcerned when we expressed our dissatisfaction with the meal. The only positive aspect of the experience was the quality of the water served. Regrettably, this ranks as one of the worst dining experiences I have ever encountered. It is highly unlikely that I will return to this establishment in the future.

The place has got a really drastic change and there are a lot of genuine Kerala style bakery products as well. The start is really good if this level is kept going forward I do believe this will be a great success

Food in Cochin palace was nice, that’s why I chose this restaurant to buy beef biriyani today. But was really disappointing and was 2 big pieces of bones and a small piece of beef with yellow rice for 8£. Really not worth, so my rating for the yellow beef rice today is 1/5.

Worst experience always order in just eats. They will always show everything once we order they will take half hour then they cancel the order and make the item unavailable. If the item is unavailable why they showing in the menu. And if we try to call them never pick up. Couple of times dine in but the food and service was not recommendable. Never order again.

The rice was spoilt both of Mandhi and biriyani. Biriyani was horrible. Had to throw away all of the food.

As a foodie, I love this place. Sometimes I come here with my friends also. They all liked the food. Food got a real Kerala flavour. The hand made fresh Kerala porotta is the high light. I personally like the chicken fry. My friends liked chilly beef and chicken curry. Friendly staff. Hats off to Ajesh. Asha & Abin are so good in introducing new dishes. They are so lucky to have a skill full chef. Best Kerala food in Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.

The worst biriyani i ever had .

Went for dinner tonight and we were honestly so disappointed with the service provided. Had to wait for so long after ordering our food only for them to serve every dish one by one and not together. They barely had any other customers too so it shouldn’t have taken them that long with the food. And then tried giving us a useless explanation about how long each dish took them to make (btw we only ordered 3 little dishes as well), when other normal sized restaurants too have an excellent service compared to them. They either need to get more staff or fix up their service with the staff they already have. But overall the food was nice.

We had enjoyed a wonderful Christmas & New year combo. On time delivery, good packing and excellent service. Reasonable price....

Pakshe!... ഇന്നലെ പോയപ്പോൾ വളരെ മോഷം ഫുഡ്‌ മോഷം സർവീസ്. 6 മണിക്ക് എത്തിയിട്ടും ഫുഡ്‌ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല, 30 min വെയിറ്റ് ചെയ്യാൻ പറഞ്ഞു, എന്നിട്ട് 6:30‘ക്ക് വീണ്ടും തിരിച്ചു വന്നിട്ടും ഫുഡ്‌ കിട്ടിയില്ല..അങ്ങനെ ഫുഡ്‌ കിട്ടാൻ 6:55 ആയി. ഓർഡർ ചെയ്തത് പൊറോട്ട, ബീഫ് റോസ്റ്റ്, ചിക്കൻ ലെഗ് ഫ്രൈ & നെയ്മീൻ കറി. സാധനങ്ങൾ കിട്ടാൻ തന്നെ വളരെയധികം സമയം എടുത്തു. പൊറോട്ട കൊള്ളാം... അടിപൊളി പൊറോട്ട ആയിരുന്നു. ഒരുപക്ഷെ ചുടോടെ അടിച്ചു തന്നത് കൊണ്ടായിരിക്കാം. ബീഫ് roast‘m വളരെ നല്ലദ് ആയിരുന്നു. ചിക്കൻ leg ഫ്രൈ വളരെ മോഷം, മിനിമം ഒരു 3 ദിവസം ആയിട്ടുണ്ടാവും അത് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിട്ട്. വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ഫ്രൈ ചെയ്തതിന്റെ എല്ലാ ലക്ഷണങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അത് പോലെ മീൻ കറി വളരെ മോഷം ആയിരുന്നു. ആകെ ഒരു ചെറിയ piece മാത്രം. ഒരു hindi’ക്കാരി പെൺകുട്ടി ആയിരുന്നു waiter. Chef കിച്ചണിൽ നിന്ന് 2 വ്യത്യസ്ത table‘നു വേറെ വേറെ കറി ആണ് തയ്യാറാക്കിയത്. മറ്റേ table’ൽ 4 പേര് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത് കൊണ്ട് അവരുടെ കറി വേറെ തന്നെ ആയിരുന്നു. ഇത് പറയാൻ കാരണം അവിടെ chef waiter‘od പ്രത്യേകം പറഞ്ഞു ഇത്‌ ആ table’ൽ കൊടുക്കണം അത് വേറെ ഇത്‌ വേറെ എന്നൊക്കെ. Same കറി എന്തിനാണ് വേറെ വേറെ കൊടുക്കേണ്ടത്?? അതുപോലെ waiter‘ക്കു ഒരു വസ്തു അറിയില്ല... ഇങ്ങനെത്തെ ഒരാളെ എന്തിനാണ് വെക്കുന്നത് ?? ഈ Luton’ഇൽ job നോക്കുന്ന മലയാളികൾ ഇല്ലാത്തത്കൊണ്ടാണോ?? എന്തായാലും ഇനി ഇവിടെ ഫുഡ്‌ കഴിക്കാൻ വരില്ല എന്ന് തീരുമാനിച്ചു 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Went there, after an hour found parking and the place wasn’t even open. Such a waste of time. Nobody responded after we called multiple times. Apparently they don’t open on Mondays. Don’t recommend as it’s not worth the struggle to find parking

Worst experience ever ... Poor customer service.. kept us waiting for almost 40 minutes and gave us wrong food.. asked for Vegetable biryani for which they served us vegetable fried rice and when asked about it.. the waiter said what they gave is biryani there... 15 minutes later served our next table with same food as fried rice.. quantity of the food was soo less for the money we pay.. oil soaked paraottas.. they said the regular cook was on leave..but that's not customers fault.. we came here with lots of expectations .... to have authentic Indian food ... So disappointed ..

A proper kozhikodan style biriyani. And the porota and beef was also a 10. I would recommend the beef for those who like varthera. Overall its a good place to get some Kerala food
