Nice people. Recommended places up the road. Don't serve food, just a local corner pub serving good beer in an authentic way.

On the main road opposite Liverpool Yatch Marina where we were staying. Walking back from Liverpool One we stopped off for a drink and warm up. It's more of a local pub with two bars and surprisingly busy. We were immediately made welcome.

Just your typical comfy Liverpool pub - comfy, casual, just out of city centre so not too busy - and a short walk from the bustle of th Baltic market

Was planning on eating here with my girlfriend but made the mistake of entering just after match started with Liverpool away to Man utd. Girlfriend asked for a pint and got miserable rude service, asked for menu and got a grunt. If you can't be bothered to serve customers when there's a match on then stay closed. So stuff your food, not going back anyway.

What a great pub. In the tradition of great British pubs, the atmosphere and people frequenting this establishment are second to none. Became our 'local' as soon as we found it on our 6 day stay.

Lovely Cozy pub, nice venue for a quiet drink, the toilets could use a bit of a refurb but that's not the reason you goto a pub :-)

Tidy little pub, located on Liverpool's dock road with a delusional pricelist. No real points of interest... just like your local, without the characters! Walk on by!

Very nice pub - good beer, nice TV's, nice and tidy decoration and when available (not always though) good food for great value.

Whenever we are going to the BREWERY TAP or CAMP & FURNACE we alway's pop into here as it is a super friendly pub tucked away down STANHOPE STREET not to far from THE COBURG DOCK. As you have to go out of your way to find this pub,it's a pub were it is entirely made up of locals and all the better for it,there is alway's a good friendly atmosphere in here, the pub dies great meal's and super meal deal's and has a cracking selection of beer's, mostly corporate but kept in perfect condition. We were here recently, having just been THE BALTIC FLEET PUB and gad a few pint's of guinness each ,the guinness was just amazing, poured correctly even allowing time for the settle, bar staff know how to pour a proper guinness. The vibe in here was fabulous, it's a real chilled pub, very similar to the laid back atmosphere of THE YE HOLE IN YE WALL PUB in town. The pub both externally and internally us very nice, nice well kept 2 roomed pub,T.V,s to watch the sport and comfortably seating, with a spotless bar.The outside of the pub is superb with a great paint scheme, wel maintained, look's like a pub shouls look, very inviting. It's location make's it feel isolated and i suppose it is in a way but if your looking for BALTIC FLEET PUB,CAMP & FURNACE or BREWERY TAP your not that far from this pub on STANHOPE STREET. Opening hour's are; Sunday to Friday, 11am till 11pm. Saturday, 11am till midnight. Great pub and well worth seeking out.

Went to boot room as part of hospitality package.set 3 course menu was awful, when it did arrive it was smaller than a child’s portion. Soup starter was cold, main meal was pathetic and sweet was tiny.we had to sit at a table with another family, they were nice but it wasn’t what we expected.you have to pay for any drinks, even water. All this was £400 each,£1200!!!!! in total(match ticket was included). In my opinion this was an absolute rip off and will never ever do this again.WHAT A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.

Went for a wine tasting evening but then stayed on for a meal. Wine tasting was well organised and very informative. We tried five different wines and were given information about the wine from a knowledgeable member of staff. The wines were served with two platters of meat, cheese , pickles and bread/crackers. We then decided to stay on and have a meal which delicious and at a very reasonable price. Really lovely evening. Would recommend this little gem hidden away in Old Hall Street.
