Said I would never eat here again-and I did! 12 months ago we ate here during a day out and it was poor overpriced crap then. This year took us an age to get served, ordered chicken fajitas, 2 baked potatoes (priced £9.50 each)!!! Waited an age to receive the meals, when my potato with cheese and salad arrived it was cold! How? They only had one job shove it in the microwave till it dings and take it out again! When my husband’s potato with chilli beef arrived, the topping was hot but the potato cold? Took it back to be reheated properly which was another 18 minutes, not for fresh potatoes but the same ones! Inexperienced robots servings, as long as they could read and write the job was theirs - £80+ lighter we left-WE WILL NOT BE DINING HERE AGAIN!

My brother and I went for lunch in Coasters Diner inside Blackpool Pool Pleasure Beach. We ordered 2 hot drinks and 2 serves of baked potatoes with fillings. The drinks arrived soon after ordering our meal and were as expected. But we had to wait for over an hour,1 hour 10 mins for our meals which is totally unacceptable. There was no communication from staff about how long our meals would take, even when we asked about our meals the waitress didn't return with any update. Definitely would not go again and would not recommend to anyone, so avoid and have some fish and chips round the corner.

So looked like a great place to eat and was busy so we got the last table. Had to get the expressionless young man's attention to take our order. After repeating 3 times we asked to have our drinks ASAP as all thirsty. 20 mins later nothing. I asked young man again and after asking for our table number 2 times he said we would get our drinks soon. After watching the one person making drinks (whilst the others watched) do 3 other tables I went to him to ask for our drinks. He said he was doing them now and read out completely different order! We sat for 35mins with nothing and only saw one table get food! They were nurning customers away as no tables but we were all sat with nothing! After 40 mins we walked out and went to burger King!

Concept is great..but the execution is poor...staff that walk around with expressions like it's the end of the world..Luke warm food..make you pay before you even get your food(it is clear now why they do this..)..when I left I even told people that were coming in to avoid..all other eateries in pleasure beach ..no problem...we were going to get a annual pass before we entered here...we quickly changed our minds...such a Shane as the park is awesome

Expensive for what you get-find your own table- cup of tea arrived in styrofoam cups, go get your own milk, sugar, stirrers and a napkin for your doggy tea bag. All run by kids most of whom hang around doing nothing. No service to talk about as doesn’t exist

The restaurant itself looks great, however, many of the tables had plates on them with waste food, not being cleared up despite staff standing about. We were given menus when we first arrived and were greeted by a lovely young lady who took us to our table. From there though, we waited for 15 minutes before being served, even then, we had to get the attention of someone to serve us. When we were served, the young lady (another one to the one who greeted us) was AWFUL!!! I cannot stress this enough. Her attitude was appalling. Never smiled once or muttered a word. Sure her name began with the letter L. The food itself was overpriced and not worth the money. The girl behind the bar was excellent, she directed us to a place we were looking for and so helpful with us. She was busy and smiled throughout.

Went in and place was almost empty. Told not taking bookings? There was no one there? Girl at door did not even smile or say hello.

Genuinely a unique experience. The first restaurant - ever - to explain that the reason my table of five were served …. Let’s be kind and say 20 minutes … after all the other tables that sat down after us, was because they were ‘under staffed’ . It’s not understaffing to serve the tables in your restaurant in a random order bearing no resemblance to when they sat down or when they ordered. Particularly not when, by the time we finally did eat, there were as many staff in the place as customers. All the staff seem perfectly lovely - they were polite and enormously apologetic to us - but don’t seem to have any idea what they are doing or anyone guiding them. The food was fine too when it did emerge - it’s just the process of getting it from kitchen to table seems totally chaotic.

This was truly one of the worst places I’ve ever been. The manager chatted on his phone whilst all around him the staff lounged about leaving people waiting hours for their food. It took them an hour to seat us and a further 1 hour 15 mins for the dire food to arrive

We were surprised, having read other reviews, by how lovely this restaurant is! It seems that it has been majorly refurbished and is no longer a diner, but is instead a beautifully furnished Mexican restaurant with stunning views overlooking the Icon and the rest of the park. The prices were incredibly reasonable and the food was absolutely lovely - much better quality than I have seen at other large UK theme parks. We would absolutely visit again and recommend to friends and family.

Arrived to be told it was an hour wait for food to return later as was busy. Returned later and restaurant only had 3 tables in when we were seated ordered food to be told not available after taking order waiter returned I then chose alternatives. Waited and waited and no food then 45mins later was served disgusting cold food and order was wrong. Staff made excuses I asked for food to be returned and no excuse for such poor service and bad food. Asked for refund they had the cheek to charge for our 3 drinks and only refund food we did not even have 2 of the drinks and left them by this time we had wasted over an hour for nothing which took time from enjoying the rides in the park as they were 45mins at least wait. This restaurant and staff were a joke. Avoid.

Went to the pleasure beach with my other half , absolutely awful service , even though the rule of 6 is supposed to be applied , families of 7/8 were in there , staff were very rude , they had gotten our order wrong , however later refunded us. Food was very poor for the price , turkey was not cooked and pink inside , way to overrated. Service was awful , families waiting outside the door and being ignored, I think the diner itself was very unorganised and dreadful. Will never be returning!

Big refurb since my last visit. Place looks amazing. Staff were ace and explained all the new procedures. Pretty much fast food as per what you would expect from a theme park, but the food is hot and tasty. It’s table service now and again staff were fab.

We went in on a spur of the moment at the tills we were told the wait for the food would be 30 minutes although it arrived after about 20 when it did arrive it was lovely and freshly cooked, very tasty and the staff were also very friendly even though it was so busy, the table next to us kept complaining to staff about the wait even though they had been informed also as they were in front of us in the que!

Had to wait for 45 minutes for awful cold food !!! 3.45 for a coke !!! Do not waste your money !!!stay away

Had a lovely lunch. Approx 45.00 for 3 adults and 1 child including drinks. 2 chcken wraps, 1 chicken fajita, 2 portion nachos and 4 coke. Food was hot and very tasty. Restaurant was busy and staff appeared under pressure, however this was first day of opening for the seasonat the park. So it was busy. Would return

Having used several OK Diners I was kind of hoping that this place was of a similar standard. How wrong I was.Five of us turned up around 10am on a Saturday morning. The Wetherspoon just a couple of hundred yards away was heaving with customers, too busy for us to want to eat there and this place was almost deserted, so we thought we'd get pretty good service. How wrong I was again.We were shown to a nice large table and a pleasant waitress took our drink orders. Four of us opted for the refillable fresh filter coffee, one opted for tea.When we asked for refills (mostly during the interminable wait for the breakfasts to arrive) the waitress - instead of bringing the carafe to the table and topping up the mugs - replaced individual mugs with fresh ones, every time. This took forever!We ordered 3 Grand Canyon breakfasts, plus two other breakfasts.We then waited for about 50 minutes for our food to arrive.Two breakfasts (eventually) came out with poached eggs, as requested. Unfortunately, instead of three eggs as per the menu, one plate had 2 eggs, the other only 1 egg.When this was pointed out to the waitress she had to firstly check the menu, then arrange the missing eggs.The third Grand Canyon breakfast was quite obviously missed off the order, and then had to be hastily cooked.The other two breakfast items (an omelette and some French toast) were just fine.The third Grand Canyon breakfast arrived some ten minutes later, and about another ten after that came the missing eggs.Ordering more coffee was met with the same inefficient, slow and labour intensive topping up method.The food was fine, it just took ages to get it, the orders were missing items and the waiting staff were not attentive enough, you had to try and catch their eye for ages.A poor second to the food and service at your average OK Diner.

Well, it certainly looks much better than before but I can’t say the food is much better. I’ve just finished eating what was supposed to be a beef burrito but it was essentially a sour cream burrito with the odd trace of beef. Perhaps the staff should do some Mexican cuisine training...

Ridiculously rude service. Opened late. Extra charges are added to your price which are not listed, when we spoke to the cashier about this, her response was “you need to actually read it”. Food average and service was beyond rude, go to the pizza buffet instead!

We decided to try coasters as the signs outside and inside said that they sold fajitas which are my 9 year old sons favourite. However, when we ordered our food we were told that they no longer sold fajitas, so why had their signs not been changed? (false advertising at its finest). We ordered 2 baked potatoes with cheese and my son had a burrito (which he hated). The baked potatoes although tasty enough were luke warm at best with a tiny amount of cheese. Everything was served in disposable boxes and even the soft drinks tasted watered down. Expensive rubbish as with most of the eating establishments inside the pleasure beach. Surely its about time that the Pleasure Beach up their game and offer some decent restaurants and if not let visitors take in their own edible food!!!

Crap. Asked for a baked potatoes with tuna mayo and cheese.. the tuna had literally came out the tin and threw on the potatoe no mayo or anything and the prices are terrible for what you get! Dry as sticks it was!!!

Don't know where to begin . My experience here was awful. Halfway through being served . Which I ordered tango. She left me waiting to fill up the lemonade . I ordered a burger and paid extra for cheese . When my order came it had no cheese. When I asked the waiter .the cook came out took the meal. And receipt. We later got our meal with the cheese on. Then I realised I had been over charged so I went in an asked the waiter how much was it for the tango. In which then I knew I had been overcharged . With no receipt to prove as the waiter took it. And replied I don't know where it is I'm a cook. Anyway what's the problem she got her cheese . It took a while. With very rude staff to find my order and was charged for 3 tango. The staff there was so unbelievably rude . I defiantly recommend anyone to stay away . The staff here have no customer service.

A group of us went 5 adults and 4 children we only went in because it said American diner but when your inside it's really just a Mexican diner and I love Mexican food so I thought I'd stay anyway.

Avoid this dump. Miserable staff food cold nachos soggy at £6 ripp off, served in cheap cardboard boxes, kids pizza is a well known brand passed off as their own and microwaved not american the menu is mexican . luckily we had the ayce wrist bands so we just got something elsewhere the pizza place is nice and also gourmet burger near the ghost train. Would never reccomend we saw people heading in i felt like telling them not to bother.

We visited here first after unpacking had a few drinks and some food the place gets very busy and by night time its hard to get a table.

Shockingly overpriced, tasteless, soggy, cheap, plasticky, horrible are just some 9f the more family friendly words to describe this 'dining experience. I would have given 0 stars if I could have.Avoid like the plague

Ordered 2 beef burritos and some wedges, wedges were okay and that's as good as it got. Burritos were filled with salad and salsa and plain white rice and a little beef. The caution hot on the cardboard tray it was served on was clearly having a laugh as they were luke warm at best. The red wine served was off, although it was changed when I complained, it had been poured from a bottle which must have been opened for some time. The music being played kept jumping as if it was being played on a scratched record. The staff were pleasant and friendly enough, but this place could be so much better than it actually is. Having been in a few decent American diners I can only imagine that any American tourist would be horrified at this place claiming to be an American Diner.

Food was cold dry and disgusting. Staff could also benefit from attending a customer care course. Avoid this place. We left £44 of cold disgusting food on the table and walked out. Would have complained but with the attitude of the staff we knew it would have been a waste of our breath as well as our money.

My husband and I stopped for a quick bite here in pleasure beach. Fairly priced. Lovely food. Great cheesy music and lively atmosphere. American decor with roller coaster seats.

Yes and I have never visited America. Sometimes a place is so bad it becomes very hard to describe, but seriously in my entire restaurant experience this place is in the bottom three. Firstly the actual restaurant is misleading, serving mainly a Mexican themed menu instead of the implied American diner themed menu. I ordered the chicken burger with salsa, which arrived soggy , with a side of luke warm wedges. I only got half way through the meal before having to stop, on the verge of vomiting.My friend ordered the ribs which he described as barely passable , and my other friend said his Fajitas were absolutely disgusting.If it were possible I would rate this restaurant 0 stars , but to be honest calling it a restaurant is a push.Josh out.

Visited with some cast & crew members of Hot Ice (2016). The groundfloor was packed out with deaf members of the community, it was amazing to see & hear. We went to the top floor, stunning views of pier & promenade. Had a good time, drinks reasonable, it is a Wetherspoons. Good company helps.

Ordered our meal for 4 people - waited over 20 mins to then be told one meal would be another 5 mins, think the waitress was a little shocked when we said that wasn't acceptable we wanted to eat together, so she stomped off with the food, which we suspect was left on the side whilst the final meal was cooked. Sayin that, the food was acceptable and they did offer us all complementary drinks. Ok for a quick (when they get their act together) lunch .

We came here with family. Asked for a white wine paid £4.10 for a plastic cup of warm wine and they only had one type. Que was so big so I didn't want to have to tell her to take it back. The young boy serving was the only thing about the place that was decent he was trying really hard. Place needs more staff. Tables dirty loads of boxes lying everywhere. Bit of a nightmare to be honest!

After going on the big one we stopped in for a quick pint. Staff very polite however we didn't eat so I'm unable to comment on the food.

We chose to eat here because they did burrito's, fajita's nacho's etc as well as standard diner food.Food was on a par with most standard fast food. It wasn't the greatest burrito I've ever eaten, but it was fine, hot and filled the gap. Wedges, nachos and kids meals were also good to fill the gap.Would eat here again when at the Pleasure Beach.

A visit with 2 adults and 4 children- I wouldn't even give this place to eat 1 star. would avoid this place due to awful unedible food and expensive prices, the saying, you get what you pay for, well we payed but didn't get, what we did was Crap I'd rather eat warmed up microwave meals than what they serve, dried up chicken burger and cheap cheese slices melted over Nachos. Yak. Next visit to Blackpool pleasure beach I think I'll take a pack lunch...

I don't know if I'm thinking of the same Coasters Diner as other reviewers, but I ate here the other day and thought it was great. (The diner I used is actually inside Pleasure Beach itself).I had a chicken burger, which was more like a chicken fillet with breadcrumbs, along with potato wedges and barbecue sauce. It all came very fast and was tasty and hot. My only error was not realising that the meal deal did not come with a drink, but this is my fault. Either way, it was just over £5 for the meal which included plenty to eat, so it represents good value for money.I especially liked the theming of the café, with seats made out of rollercoaster and waltzer cars, as well as some images of Pleasure Beach on the walls. This gave the café a distinct atmosphere which ties in brilliantly with a day at the Pleasure Beach.

Grumpy staff reluctant to take orders. Too busy having a conversation that they're glad it's nearly end of season. Obviously happy in their jobs then! Microwave food that's not even warm. No chilli in the chilli. Overpriced rubbish. Do not recommend

Really nice staff, obviously on sub minimum wage. Food takes ages, you wont recognise the ?guacamole....cream....pesto....don't ask me!!! Was fairly quiet...we found out why. Basically a box of disgusting microwaved muck, cheapest price around £6 plus for tasteless nachos covered in something indescribable. Most were leaving food uneaten....easy to understand why!

Visited here in Sept 2015.Ate as part of the all you can eat deal fro the Pleasure Beach.The tables had not been wiped and were very wet - had to wipe them down before we started!!Ordered our food - my daughter had nachos and wanted chilli and we had to pay extra on our meal deal - even though this was still cheaper that the other meal deal meals - totally ridiculous.The food was hot, but tasted like out of a jar and all I can say it filled a gap.Not somewhere we would go again - the whole Pleasure Beach food experience is very poor.

quite surprised at the terrible reviews as we found this place about average! Its your standard theme park diner offering greasy food at an average price. We got burger and wedges for £6 and was very filling. The service is quick, not the cleanest of places but what can you expect... its hardly going to be 5 stars.

This is the worst restaurant in blackpool pleasure beach and when we asked for butter on our jacket potatoes it was refused by the staff. Although we had all you can eat wristbands you have to pay for sauce. I have never seen such poor service. If you do go to blackpool pleasure beach don't go to this restaurant. It is also over priced and is only 6 items on the menu. So avoid avoid avoid.

Horrendous service, food poor, rude staff! We sat and waited for nearly an hour for poor food then where asked to leave as they where closing. We refused and they locked us in! Horrible! Please avoid, go to all you can eat pizza place. Costs about the same.

Came here as I fancied a "healthy" option and seen their baked potatoes on the menu...I should of bothered.I ordered a baked potato with tuna and beans and what I got was a microwaved potato with what looked and smelled like cat food on it. Horrible food, would never return.

Fair prices charged considering the venue and portion sizes were huge. We had jacket Potatoes, Ribs, Fajitas and kids meals and all in all everything was good and plentiful. Not fine dining by any means but hot, nourishing and enough to keep you going through the day. Would use again if in the park.

Ended up in here as the usual place we used was closed. Wished we hadn't bothered!!! Absolutely awful!! How anyone could serve up food like this is beyond me!! You don't expect it to be great but you couldn't even eat this. Ribs were like they'd been boiled in water and had no sauce on them. The nachos were rock hard. And the chicken burger was disgusting!!! Avoid at all cost!!!

There's not much to say that hasn't been said already. But then, if you're expecting to find five star food in a theme park then you're in the wrong place! Massively overpriced (£6 for a plate of nacho chips) and usual customer service experience from a fast food restaurant. This was an emergency purchase else we wouldn't have chosen here!On the plus side, the American car seats are a nice touch and the music is ok. But really, the other eateries In the park can't be any worse. Might be worth trying those instead.

We went here for out diner while in the pleasure beach, and I must say it was very dissapoonting, the chicken fajita was soggy and the chicken was thin and processed, the wedges were poor quality and hardly any spice on them, the sauces were 10p each (rip off) no drink in the meals except the children's ones, all food was bland and microwaved.The chicken burger had no sauce or lettuce!!! As my partner said "they have sent better humanitarian food to Iraq as aid food!!!" .All in all we would never go back there to eat

We had dinner here on the last day of our holiday - the restaurant is actually inside The Blackpool Pleasure Beach and we honestly wished we had kept on walking!The restaurant was empty when we arrived and this alone should have started the warning bells ringing! They have a very sustinct menu with a selection of about 8 Mexican dishes (not sure where the American Diner comes in!) Each item is costs around £7 and comes with a couple of wedges and no drink! We ordered 2 Buritos, a Chicken Fajita and a baked potato with tuna! All were disgusting - and have been microwaved to reheat. The wraps were soggy, it was hard to find the beef or chickin in them - the potato was so hard you could have broken the window with it and the skin could have been used to make a new handbag, it was so tough!!! The food was served in boxes (obviously makes it easier to microwave!) and you are given plastic cultery. Honestly a total waste of money - we ended up getting a McDonalds along the front later that evening! Honestly - there is a pizza restaurant in the park that is all you can eat of vitrtually the same price - go there!

Measly proportions for an adult meal. Minor sprinkling of "spicy powder" covering less than a quarter of the wedges...Best avoided......!!!

Ran out of coleslaw by 1pm...?? Skinny fajita with hardly ANY chicken, mayo costs 10p each! Prices too high for the poor food offered AVOID!

we went here while at pleasurebeach...was nice enough but not much choice and my jacket potato was all grey inside eek. bit expensive for what it is.
