Best coffee in long Eaton. Especially with the coffee club discount. Lovely big venue with booth tables. All staff were friendly. Would recommend.

My recent visit left me feeling very well fed. The quality of the food (philly cheese steak) and coffee was amazing and the atmosphere and service were to qualtiy to. I'm definitely looking forward to my next visit and trying more on the menu.

Waited ages for food and place nearly empty. Mug of tea had t bag floating in the mug. My friends sandwich came and mine smashed avocado took ages, then I had to mash it as there were lumps. Staff were not friendly, and loud banging music did not make it a pleasant place to be. We wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Birthday celebration with 11 friends .fantastic service friendly staff clean and lovely pizza at a reasonable price.The staff went out of there way to give us a brilliant experience . Definitely go back thank you .

We have visited the butchers block some years ago, and it was a memorable meal and had high hopes for cleaver coffee. When we arrived they were polite and accommodating. The menu looked impressive and we had high hopes. Unfortunately, what you see on the menu is not what you get. A sausage sandwich is not something that you can get wrong. The menu says locally sourced sausage on fresh bloomer with homemade ketchup, what arrived was hovis medium slice bread, with the local sourced sausage from the local supermarket, with no home made ketchup, only Heinz. We then went to the counter to speak to the staff about our order, whilst standing there 3 of the staff didn’t even look up to which point I decided to leave, and definitely won’t be back. Such a shame!

Our first visit was a last minute pre-Christmas catch-up hastily arranged by my brother and sister-in-law as they travelled home from Sheffield to Malvern with a detour via a Long Eaton Tearoom. This however was shut which resulted in my brother finding this amazing Eaterie! A most visually interesting venue, with friendly and helpful staff, and a varied choice of traditional and more unusual breakfast/Brunch dishes. The bacon and maple syrup pancakes and the salmon and cream cheese bagel were delicious, the coffee the best, and the home-made cakes so delicious-looking a couple just had to accompany us home! What a find! This was our first visit, but definitely not our last as the plan now is to work our way through this intriguing menu… the array of Whisky is mighty tempting also… in this gem of a venue.

Went for brunch, the food was amazing, particularly the French toast was the best! Nice setting and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend

called here for first time today Wednesday 26th Jan 2022. We were only here for a coffee. Staff were very very friendly and great customer service. The coffee was nice but would prefer a bigger cup. The surroundings were very differant to what we expected

We stopped here for breakfast/brunch on 23rd December after we had done our Christmas shopping. We have been to cleaver a number of times previously, but the outstanding service that we received today was absolutely testament to what a great little place this is. There aren't many really nice places in Long Eaton for a meal out, but Cleaver (as it is in the daytime) and Butchers (as it is in the evening) is a stand out! We had a couple of the festive Latte's (the coffee here is amazing!) a breakfast poutine, and a French toast with Berries and creme fraiche. All of the dishes were so good! When we have visited before, the eggs benedict has also been delicious! There had been an error between the kitchen and the front of house team, but we weren't in a hurry, and were happy to wait an extra 5 mins! The server was incredibly apologetic, and got us an extra coffee for the mix up, this was a great example of really good service that sets this place out from anywhere else in the area. We got a cake to take away with us, which was amazing, but again the server, still apologetic for the earlier mix up, refused to let us pay for the cake... have a very merry Christmas was all she said! A very kind gesture that needn't have been made! A great place, right in the middle of long eaton, we can't wait to go back again soon!

Fantastic coffee spot just off the high street. Really cool surroundings, fantastic service and quality food & coffee. Well worth a trip for the pancakes alone!

Great service. Great food. Unbelievable coffee!! Quite possibly the best coffee in the uk! We had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. It was soooo good!
