Classic Pizza in County Durham

Quality food at a quality price. Orders have always been great and on time. Would definately recommend to any looking for lovely food!

Ordered a 2 chicken kebabs which had no flavour and very dry

Food was cold. Dips were all over the bottom of the bag. The hot and spicy chicken kebab was tasteless. Driver was rude. When they said on the phone to give the food back and they’d resend the order, all they sent was a couple of cold chips and another tasteless chicken kebab. Very unhappy to have spend over £40 for a totally inedible meal. AVOID!!

Wouldn't order from any other pizza shop. Food is always spot on and delivery always quick.

I ordered a classic garlic bread and a homemade bacon cheeseburger it wad one of the best things ive ever tried from a pizza shop i would recommend trying them both. The staff was very friendly and talked with me while i was waiting for my friend. Overall a good pizza shop with good staff i would recommend visiting.

Pizza look as if it had been kicked up the street. Complained and after waiting for another hour I received the replacement Pizza. Ruined our little Saturday nite plan's thanks classic pizza

Ordered our food and got have the order to then be charged £10 more. Phoned to explain and the woman on the phone was disgraceful. She needed to just admit she had messed the order up like the delivery driver said instead of telling lies and blaming me! She needs a course on customer services!

At 9.20pm I ordered a pizza, chips and donner wrap. It arrived at 10.30pm and I tipped the delivery driver. After he left I checked the order and realised the wrap was missing. I immediately tried to telephone Classic Pizza and it had closed for the evening. The following day the owner of Classic Pizza telephoned me and was extremely apologetic about the missed item from my order. The owner compensated me for their mistake. I was left a happy customer. Thank you Classic Pizza, see you again soon.

I used to love this pizza shop but they have now stopped answering the phone for deliveries.

If you want your order missing and having to ring back up after 1 hour wait then this is the place for you. This must be at least the third time this has happened in 3 months to us WON'T be using again will be going somewhere reliable. One star is TO MUCH. Really pleased order came yet again and everyone had our food at different time. Left tip with driver wish I'd not bothered .

BBQ chicken pizza was really nice. Asked for bacon n chicken and got ham ..I know similar but didn't like it.

THANK YOU SO MUCH I SAID could you please leave the mayonnaise off the chicken burger as i don’t like it and you put it on and the chips tasted like they were cold ones warmed up again didn’t enjoy my meal one bit..😡

Would definitely not recommend. Ordered a pizza and a donner kebab, opened the box of donner meat and a pigeon flew out and sat on my table... I then checked if the pizza was okay and to my surprise there was a fat rat eating it with a knife and fork. The rat then ran at the pigeon and they began to fight each other using scissors as sword. On the end they just ran into the box that is filled with my grandmothers ashes. Long story short I have aids.

Worst take away we've had. Starter was uncooked - dough was completely raw. Pizza was ok but much smaller than anticipated, and one of the desserts we ordered was still frozen! Couldn't get a fork through! Wont be back unfortunately.

First time I have been to Classic Pizza in years. The staff were friendly, the prices were reasonable, when we got our food it was all still nice and hot (unlike other places in the town) and even though they were very busy with big delivery orders we still did not wait long for our order, will defiantly be back again soon!

I have used classic pizza for many years and I can honestly say this is the best pizza shop in our town, freshly made food and very helpful staff and not to mention the longest running pizza shop in town (over 30 years) this speaks volumes in itself.. Highly recommend

Really nice food, i would recomend going here. My friend got the wrong pizza, but they were really quick to respond and brought him a new one which was really good. Also it is fast delivery time. Very good i fully recomend.

Pizza was nice, thin and crispy but prices are way over the top in my opinion.

When I order I never have to wait no more thsn half an hour

I have been visiting classic pizza for over 10 years and can really say it is the best pizza shop in the north east. No other pizza shop matches it for quality and service and always find the staff very helpfull. I would highly reccomend classic pizza to my friends and family. keep up the good work

Classic pizza is definately the best in Spennymoor its been here for over 20 years which to me speaks volume it hasnt changed hands regular like all the other pizza shops. The garlic sauce is the best you will find anywhere and the delivery is always quick whether you phone or visit their website to order. I would definately recommend giving classic a try before any of the others.........

Perfect pizza every time, not the cheapest place in the area but certainly the best.
