Classic Fish Bar & Kebab House in Wolverhampton

Today’s order was a disappointment. There was no taste to the donner meat and it was very dry and the chips weren’t hot.

Chips were really nice nice and moist not too dry. The kebab Meet was a little dry, but it was quite nice still.

Chips were okay. Donner nann was really nice!

Came after years, changed names from Classic to 5 star, and truly stands on business.The chips are proper British chips. Small Donner meat & chips cheap and cheerful, only £2.50. Flame Grilled burger is a must try!!! I walked away with another burger meal, zinger burger. Two gentlemen were helpful guys, nice meeting Danny & Naim definitely will be seeing you guys soon :)

Classic fish shop deans road, I'm having to change my review and you will no why, Think they changed hands month or 2 now , stopped useing the old classic because it wos getting horrible. NOW theve changed hands, please go and give them a try, I did and wow chips r nice every time I go, kebab meat is lovely and so is the chicken meat, they dnt cook loads and loads so wot you get is fresh 😀 everytime I go it is. Also the manager or owner?? always says hello to me, and talks to you, (they were never that nice, unless you spoke 1st) Theve changed all the signs, and the prices are good too, NOT expensive, and some items are cheaper, we normally have small kebab meat & chips in a tray bit chilli 2.50 that's good and they dnt skimp on amount, GREAT CHIPPI 👌 WELDONE, AND LIKE I SAID, "VERY NICE MAN" WHO ALWAYS SPEAKS VERY POLITE, so pls go and try the classic chip shop deans road. Chips tasted undercooked donor meat was near cold. Some days it’s good and others disappointing. Look after your customers and give them a better service and quality products

Got food home and chips were cold Pie smelt and had gone bad.. was sticky. Went straight in the bin. Sausage was also cold. Spring roll was really nice and lovely and warm.. Won't be going here again.

Food is consistently good. However tonight it was not as warm as I would have preferred. Still if I am too idle to fetch it myself that's my hard luck I guess. Overall, consistently good. Well done.

curry was good battered sausage was good but the battered burger was under cooked and the mixed meat the chicken every time I had a bite all I was eating was grittle from the chicken did not enjoy won't be ordering again

Fish stinks , gave them back and they replaced with another stinky fish. They didn't give any refund. Tonight they lost a customer

Chips and pies stone cold. Chips mainly tiny bits. Not good at all. Checked the food hygiene rating on the internet. Rated 1 - Major improvement necessary in food safety! Wish I’d checked before going there.

Absolutely rank ordered the five southern fried wings and got home to see blood all over the fifth wing I already ate half of the soggy chips and I refuse to eat the chicken leg and the rest of the chips I am absolutely disgusted

Loved the food. Took a while to make but I did not mind that as the food was so fresh and delicious. Customer service was very good. They apologised for the waiting time. Overall amazing fresh food. Thankyou

Went there near closing time so wasn't expecting piping hot food. Chips could've been abit better. But overall it was decent. Done the job 👌

Rubbish food old food using cheaper oil or reheating same old chips in frier nasty burnt chips no taste no longer same quality and service thats why i assume their trade has gone down hill an they hardly have any customers left

Chips like scratching, pizza wasn’t very nice and took ages to deliver despite us being close, baby was in bed hence not collecting.

I placed an order for delivery, I paid cash to discover there were items missing. I called the shop to let them know. They said I would have to wait an hour for the items to be delivered. I had to drive down to get my missing items. I did not get my delivery refunded and to add insult to injury I was told that I was lying about the missing items.

Avoid,we ordered takeaway and will not use again,service was quick but the food was disgusting,chips rock hard,food tasted like it was days old and some food stunk like it was off,had to throw most of it away

Just had Naan with Chicken kebab. Never seen before doing grill kebabs on Naan but they done for me was big portion great taste and good customer service. The guy from Sohawa is very friendly thanks you.

The chicken wings tested like a few days old not a very fresh place to eat

The only thing worth getting are the chips, and even then they are a hit or miss, sometimes they are good, sometimes they are nasty and cold. Mostly they are pretty good, I'd recommend going around 3:30pm-6pm.

Awful food, kebab is horrible, chips aren’t soft, you get what you pay for I suppose. No wonder it’s cheap because it’s made with cheap poor products, I would give you 0 stars, but that’s not possible so I give you a 1.

Ordered Chicken pizza, fries and gralic bread. Chicken pizza came as: keema pizza (which i told them not to put a keema but a proper piece of chicken). fries and garlic bread were so dry and chewy. They looked a like stick. Food was so dead cold... after spending £23, i cooked pasta for my daughter cause she could not chew those fries and pizza slice. Worst food ever!!

Can be hit and miss, recently brought fish and chips lovely. A while back brought Chicken Shish kebab and chips, Kebab far too spicy. This is going back sometime, I was sold a burnt Pizza, it took a long time before I went back to this take away after this experience. As I said Fish and Chips is good, Oh the lads a lovely.

I was just passing through, found this place and ordered a large Donner meat and chips, excellent! Change out of a fiver too 👍

AVOID AVOID AVOID My son and his girlfriend had food from this place the other day chicken and chips a battered sausage and doner meat and chips since eating from this place they have both come down with food poisoning and have both been realy ill and had to have time from work because of it I would avoid theres obviously something wrong with there food environmental health have also been advised of this discusting thats all I can say save your money go some where else

STAY AWAY !! My dad and i have now been sick for two days, after eating their chicken. Well something that looked like chicken... If you could give this place a 0 star i would have. This place needs to be investigated as this is not the cleanest for a start and obviously not in date food , from now on ill be eating at Fridays 5 doors up the road. Disgusting place !!!!

Absolute disgrace. This shop sold me RAW SAUSAGES that I nearly fed to my children. The owners response was its human error and no one is right or wrong!!! How? This should not happen if u are cooking foods to the correct recommended temperature. He said maybe is colouring..... TF?!??? This is the second time something like this has happened here. The first incident they sold me a chicken pie which was solid frozen on the inside. I am reporting them to Wolverhampton environmental health. I will never use this chip shop again and I suggest you all stay away too. The workers were very patronising on the phone as if I was lying about the sausages being raw. Well here are pics to prove!!!

I have ordered from this shop many times and never had a issue.. tonight I order and thay sent me my fish and chips with out my peas.. so I called and said look I haven't had no peas sent with my food.. so thay said thay will send me some more out on the next order. So I said ok if that's the case I want a fresh fish and some chips has the old ones would be cold the time thay got back with the peas thay should of sent to start with. He said there ain't nothing thay cant do and I will get discount next time. I don't want discount I want my food what I payed for to come has I ordered. So angry and will not be ordering a gas in when I asked for the manger he said I am the manger.. surprised thay have any custom with that attuide

The order had 4 things wrong with it. They asked for an extra £1 for delivery honestly the worst place I have ever orded from. I called up via the number and the staff was rude and unhelpful I would never order from this place again. Avoid at all costs.
