Beer well kept, and not too busy for 2 after lunch visits. First visit, staff a bit frosty, as yes not a regular as I don't live there but couldn't see any pressure on them. Food looked good but facility not used.

Great pub, friendly staff. Outside seating to the front and covered outside seating at the rear. Reasonable prices. Not tried the food but hear good reviews

A little expensive compared to other pubs in the area, especially as it's not situated in the town centre! However you are made to feel welcome by the local customers.

Typical English pub. Not one of these commercialy plastic venues. Just up the road for MKM stadium in Hull. Enthusiastic crowd. Lovely kebabs. Large range of cask beers and great atmosphere. I live in Aberdeen and this type of pub doesn't exist up there.

Went to football in Hull,had a great evening Friday was made so welcome,and went back for a Sunday lunch today and it was 1st class at a great price,please give them a look if your in the area.

Lovely pub that actually served Tetleys mild on draft. Friendly staff and sensible prices for food and drinks..I'll certainly be going back

Popped in for a break on our way to Hull Fair. Was fairly quiet when we went in. Barkeep was polite, toilets were clean and the beer garden was well kept.

Just been for Sunday dinner 3 courses for £10 great value We had potato and leek soup for starter then the main we had turkey my better half had the beef and for sweet we had apple crumble and custard and syrup sponge and custard all good portions all the food was hot and home cooked and tasted Amazing the staff are friendly and we felt like we was the locals we will definitely be back. Thanks for a Great lunch see you soon

The Clarendon is a former Tetley pub now selling a wide range of beers and lager, sadly no cask conditioned real ales. A big street corner pub with a large bar and separate Lounge. There is an outside Courtyard beer garden and outside drinking area to the front of the pub. A proper community pub with darts and a pool table.

Fab Sunday lunch and staff are amazing cheap prices too

This was my first visit and from the moment I walked in I was given a warm and friendly welcome .I decided to have a Sunday lunch .it was all home made and very nice .well worth a visit .I can highly recommend. I will definatly be retuning soon

Fabulous Sunday dinner, very reasonably priced as was the wine. Singer was excellent with great choice of music 🎶 great time was had by all.

Well this is an odd but brilliant concept. It's a pub that doesn't sell food apart from Sunday roasts (pre-book) that are fantastic but has a GREEK takeout built in. So wife and I gave it a shot, we were the only two eating so it took a bit of time but it was so well worth it. Fantastic gyros and chicken kebab. There was plenty of it, roasting hot, plenty of chips and salad plus some nice sauces. It wasn't expensive for the quality and quantity. The staff in both the pub and takeout are so friendly and really nice. It's located just out the main city zone in a quiet street but well worth a visit. We will return.

Very expensive £4 80 for a pint of Guinness and had to ask for it to be topped up every time
