We are so sorry to see vafe closed, such a great place to grab a fabulous breakfast or even a snack. We always had a great chat with owner. What a shame

Friendly staff is all this place has going for it.The food was greasy and tastless and the toilet I do not recommend using there is no light and it stinks.

Absolutely delicious had a bacon sausage egg baguette and was so nice one of best I've had in a while and the Mars Cake was really good! And a energy drink all for only £6 brilliant

Great little cafe, seems to cater for a lot of workers on the trading estate, but still room for a sit down meal. Prices are very competitive

Found this place while waiting for some work doing on our car. The cafe was empty when we arrived. The owner was very friendly, the menu was huge, and the food was good and cheap.

I have had the pleasure of eating a most delightful feast of a breakfast (available all day) and can confirm IT IS ALWAYS BLOOMIN' DELICIOUS..! Every time, without fail.. plate filled to the brim.. Every ingredient an English breakfast would have... And then some.! (Not as good as a Norn Iron all day breakfast, with soda and potato bread, but a very close 2nd.!) Ignore any bad reviews, as that's kids with a grudge, read the vast majority, then make your mind up.. Better still, give it a go, you WILL NOT be disappointed...! They try to offer every option and as quick as it can be done, but there's no feeling of pressure to leave there, they even offer newspapers and magazines for those who want to just sit back and relax..! Julian and Claire also offer Gluten free and other special request items. Give either shop a try, I have time and time again, never need to go elsewhere.!

Not a good standard and the place is tired breakfast was poor

Amazing breakfast and cheap it's that good i had to triple check and go back 3 times in one week and it doesn't disappoint!

Nipped in for butty, bacon and sausage just reheated on grill wasn't hot rather disgusting what can I say about a bacon and sausage roll would of been better freshly cooked I won't be going back here

Stayed around the carlisle area for 3 nights at the end of july 20. Needing breakfast each morning we searched online and found claires kitchen.... 1st visit was really a good breakfast...so didnt look any further and ate there each morning.... We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenaged lads. Decent sized menu and not only for breakfast... Prices were cheap as well. The gent running the kitchen was also welcoming..... Great place

We had been staying at the Premier Inn down the road and rather stay in the soulless restaurant and have a hugely overpriced breakfast I found Claire's Kitchen online. It's not far off the main road, tucked into the industrial estate behind the big car dealers. It was clean with really friendly service offering a good selection of food for a very reasonable price. We all had a late breakfast (I love hash browns so had 3 with my beans and mushrooms) with 2 rounds of toast and tea. Total bargain at £3.50. And what was even better was the hash browns were crispy. Happy, happy days.

Staff are absolutely awful. Poor service. Both Claires kitchen and Claires bakery on Warwick Road are absolutely dreadful. Unhygienic and rude staff. Owners clueless. A lot more I would like to say but will keep it to a minimum.

Been going to Claires for a while now, especially since the kitchen opened up at the System canteen at the airport. Fantastic every time, and great staff too. Andrea always has a smile on her face, and so did Kate when she was up there too. Sometimes we even get Claire! Nicest sausage & egg baguettes ever. Keep it up guys.

Refreshing to have a large breakfast not cooked in oil and swimming in it on your plate, staff friendly and very clean. Well worth a visit.

Lorry broke down and had a couple of hours to kill mechanic told me to go to claires kitchen and have a large breakfast as it would fill me up for the whole day.when I arrived I was welcomed very warmly and after looking at the chalk boards with a complete array of food items I asked about the large breakfast ,was informed you have 2 eggs 2 sausages 2 bacon fried bread hash brown beans toms black pudding and mushrooms and 2 slices of toast .All for £4.50 and if I would like a tea or coffee it would cost £5.00 .I sat down and waited ,well what a amazing breakfast .would recommend as it filled me up for the day

Had a few small buffets from here for work. Good choice of food and value for money. Sandwiches, salads and fruit boxes or home made soup in winter, yum. Often pop in for an excellent breakfast sandwich. Gluten and dairy free alternatives, most home made available.
