Print Yard in Carlisle

I ordered halloumi gyros and they were good. Unfortunately, I am vegetarian and found small pieces of fried chicken inside the gyros. The manager was not particularly friendly or helpful. He offered to remove my drink from the bill and replace the food. I wanted the food removed from the bill and he didn’t seem pleased at this either.

Excellent place for lunch. We thought the burgers were the best we had ever had, so juicy! The Argentinian steak fries were amazing too, loved my raspberry lemonade as well! Great friendly service and a cool looking place to eat - will be back again!

Order did not arrive said it was delivered 2 hours after order placed but didn’t turn up AT ALL! Shocking

We weren't allowed in the main part because the guy said it was too cold and it is warmer at the bottom of the yard in the small extension that looked like a school hall sat on school dining chairs at a wobbly wooden table - no bar so had to wait for the waiter or walk up yourself to re-order - salt and pepper in little paper wraps so you need 10 peppers to get some pepper !! Same goes for the salt , why they can't break the bank balance and get proper pots for the salt and pepper is beyond me they charge enough !! Food arrived stone cold !!! By this time and no happy with any of it took our food back and left without paying apart from the drink I had and finished - wint be back- it's dire !!!!

The food is lovely! You pay a little more than a usual takeaway but you do get sit in standard! Huge portions, piping hot and so tasty!

Ordered a beef burrito and although it was tasty it unfortunately had hardly any meat whatsoever. The dessert never turned up and when I called to check on it the man on the other end of the phone was extremely unprofessional and somewhat rude. Shame

Great food but delivered only because the person who got our order (and we were delivered theirs) were good enough and close enough to bring ours and collect theirs. The UberEats driver was adamant it was nothing to do with him and he had delivered the food correctly as our code matched - which it would. He refused to correct the delivery and blamed the restaurant, yet it was clear he had dropped the wrong orders at the wrong addresses. There needs to be more accountability for the drivers.

I ordered gochuchang chicken with kung pao noodles but I received gochuchang chicken in a bao bun. It was nice but not really what I ordered.

Wow what an excellent experience. The food was great , fantastic selection of drinks including cocktails. Staff are so attentive and good natured, I would recommended an afternoon here for drinks and food. The triple fried chicken with jerk seasoned chips and gravy was superb, as was the enchiladas

Absolutely loved the ambience and Food!

My only slight criticism was the food was a little slow and the music a touch loud or conversation, however the place is really cool, the food was fantastic and the servers were really pleasant and friendly. The Korean popcorn chicken and chorizo mac n cheese were lovely, the drinks choices were nice and varied. So many good choices on the menu, we'll have to come back to try more of them!

We had a meal for 14 for my daughters hen party. It was my first visit, I was impressed, the food was delicious, as were the cocktails. All the staff were friendly and efficient, they went out of their way to make it a great visit. We will be back.

Time for delivery kept changing. Took 45 minutes longer than first stated. Food was very poor quality burger looked like it had been thrown together and then stood on and chips were cold. Very poor quality and quantity for cost would not recommend food from here for home delivery

Been a few times now, Relaxed chilled place to eat or have a few drinks.. Food is good, The Burgers are probably the best I've had in Carlisle and do try the Salt& Pepper chips, Very very good 👍

Really enjoyed our lunch here on Saturday with my husband and mum. Great service from friendly staff, we'll definitely be back. I had the excellent Argentinian steak loaded fries with chimichurri, it was excellent. Forgot to take a pic, too busy eating haha!!

Two hours from order to arrival; constantly changing delivery time to avoid being ‘late’. Courier at restaurant for about 30 mins. Food was nice but the chips were stone cold by the time they arrived as they weren’t insulated. I won’t be ordering from The Print Yard again.

Good Food but order always wrong! 25 mins late, Missed half of our order, 26 pounds worth of food! Isn’t worth the aggravation of getting refunds.

Made the mistake of ordering the greek here days before I went on holiday to Greece. This has the most amazing gyros I've ever had and paled everything in actual Greece that I ate. Definitely recommend the chicken and halloumi gyros to anyone.

A hidden gem in the centre of Carlisle. A great selection of dishes to choose from, mine was freshly cooked and tasted great. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I went mid-week so it was a bit quiet, but I can imagine it there would be a real buzz at the weekend.

Food was spot on, beer was good, staff friendly. And you could hold conversations easily with out being drowned out by noise or background music

Rude bar staff asked us to leave our table after 5 of us had few rounds of drinks and nibbles of food. Hadn’t explained they wanted the table back when seating us. Attitude throughout from staff, couldn’t find us an alternative table so left.

Extremely friendly service that also thinks about the dog. The food was very good and nicely presented

Food was very tasty but only one bao bun with a tiny salad so not the best value for money compared to other places. Love eating in there but probably wouldn’t order take out again.

The food was freezing Cold , was absolutely rotten. Want a full Refund, it was disgraceful and disgusting! The driver lied and said it was not his fault the food was not ready in an unpleasant manner, however I had already been on the phone to the restaurant 3 times and they told me that the food was ready and where just waiting on the driver to come and collect it.

Food was good and home prepared. It was a little pricy (30 quid for 2 burgers and chips). Delivered right on time

Food portions are ridiculously small compared to the prices charged. £10.95 for two tiny bits of tortilla with a little bit of sauce? Just wow! The kids burger was cremated and tasted burnt. 7/8 chips with the kids meal. Very disappointing experience overall.

cant say how the food was as was not recieved, working 12 hour shifts in a hospital, ordered lunch which was a big order for then it to say its been delivered when it hasn't, and we've to go with no lunch, terrible service!!!

belly pork was beautifully cooked and roast potatoes and gravy were nice. Yorkshire wasn't homemade is was just a cheap shop bought type one and a bit tasteless and the veg was a tiny bit if spinach I expected a bit more

We’ve ordered from here previously and enjoyed, but this time was really disappointing. Nachos & chips were both over cooked verging on burnt. Gyros were both dry and bland - the tzatziki resembled cottage cheese! Really disappointing experience and nowhere near their previous standard. Has really put me off using them again.

Received a call from staff to tell me part of my order hadn't been sent with just eat driver. I said what can we do & was offered the rest of my order to arrive in someone's private car in about an hour. Very calm told the girl on the phone I didn't want my order in 2 separate halves an hour apart to be told very abruptly I couldn't do anything about it. When I asked the girl why she had such an attitude was told I had one. Assured I never. Just wanted my order in one go & was very calm. Had phone put down on me. Tried calling back to calmly resolve the issue to be ignored. As a regular customer, dining in & out of print yard I'm fully disgusted to be treat in this manner because someone clearly made a mistake & refused to own it & issue a refund. Will never return ever

Ordered food that is supposed to come with gravy. Didnt come with gravy. Poor !

App said order delivered, it wasn't, called the restaurant and they said they use third party drivers and so out of their hands as they can't contact them. Told me to submit a refund request on Just Eat. Fabulous, not!!

Beautiful food. I cannot recommend the Yorkshire wraps enough.

I didn't mind that the order took a wee while to arrive - I did mind that the woman who delivered it couldn't find my house and couldn't read the directions I provided, even though she has delivered to my house before. My order was also incomplete.

Forgot my drink. Would of been nice to have the whole order. The delivery driver was lovely and did offer to stay until I sorted it with the restaurant, but I told him it was okay. Can I have my £1.50 back for the cost of the missing item?

Food was absolutely delicious - we just ordered the double burgers and they are cooked to perfection. I think it’s the closest thing in the city to tasting like a proper American burger when it’s cooked medium. Favourite takeaway!

Visited on a weekday lunchtime and were shown to an inside table by a rather dour young lad, were sat under a speaker which was really too loud for the size of room and also a very cold room. Menu selection was good and no complaints with the food itself. However the service was very poor. We asked for a hot drink to be served with the meal....that never arrived. While we still had our plates on the table and still drinking when a young lad stuck a QR sticker on the table and then asked if we would like our bill and without seeing our bill he was asking how we wld be paying, would we be paying separately, straight down the middle ? The place was never busy during our visit but we were the last in and I had to ask if they were closing because it felt as though he was rushing us out the door. It apparently wasn't closing so I don't know what the rush was. Unfortunately we won't be back with so many other lovely places in town.

Menu selection is really good with very nice vegan options as well. The food is delicious. Prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place to everybody.

I’m sure when ordered previously I’ve received 2x bao buns however it’s reduced down to 1 now. Could do with more of a sauce in it too. Bit disappointing.

By far the best home delivery in Carlisle. Is just as good as if you had it at the Print Yard

This was our first time in the print yard We went for lunch Great food good service but It was very cold and we were sat next to a radiator which was not very hot Sad really we would have been happy to stay but couldn't wait to get out and go somewhere warm, will be back but only when the weather warms up Great food good atmosphere Great drinks but very cold.

Our order was missing food, when we phoned to let them know they simply passed the blame on to Just eat, the young man on the phone was quite rude and pretty much said it wasn’t his problem, he refused to send out the rest of the order and then went on to say that he didn’t have time and hung up. WELL DONE PRINT YARD! You made a pregnant woman very unhappy and should be ashamed of your customer service.

We ordered food at 4.30 it arrived at 6.26.

Food absolute Garbage, sent my main course back twice (burnt Nacho’s) wife’s Gyros processed/microwaved food! When leaving had to ask for itemised receipt as they tried to charge me for my meal! No apology from waiting on staff! Bypass this place at all costs and head to Coco Mill 👍
