City Pizza and Kebab in Derby

Absolute disgusting I'm sure my meat was left over from previous day absolute horrified sort yourselves out

It took nearly 2 hours to arrive and was cold when I got it. Won’t be ordering again.

Asked for student deal on Kebab (which I have got multiple times before) which is supposed to be 2 kebabs based on their advertised deals in store (see attachments), and received only one despite confirming with till attendant that i’d get 2 based on the student deal.

Chips weren’t cooked properly forgot my sauce on the food donna meat was a bit hard and dry on both meals

Chips were a bit under cooked and the chips and kebab wasn’t very warm!! Was too hungry to ring and complain. Not very happy

The food delivered by a cyclist arrived lukewarm, but was still edible. For the price you would assume the onion rings would be a larger than child sized portion, and the large kebab was no bigger than a double burger, the only positive after Just Eat intervened and contacted the restaurant to acknowledge my order was the delivery time of 30 minutes.

Ordered a pizza and cheesy chips, awful service owner was arguing with me the entire time I was ordering because the promotions on the menu weren’t enforced. All in all awful service won’t be going back

The food isnt good. Ate here 3 times now and ive ended up with food poisoning every single time. I only order cheesy chips! Despite that, its a safe takeaway and the staff are friendly enough. They just need to sort the food out and it will atleast be a sub par taleaway

I have tried giving this place multiple attempts too better the quality of their food. Honestly disappointed. Its given me food poisoning every time on both the chicken kebab, the pizza and the burger. I now have too take another day off work due too this situation.

I ordered the nibblets meal and after forcing it down because i paid good money for it, i projectile vomited it all out a couple hours later my stomach has been ruined since. I tried to call up and complain but they ended the call and declined all calls.

Best kebab in Derby and Hussain is THE MAN. Portions are good, quality is good, feels like a safe place to be even if there are some drunken idiots in there. Great place, great staff, great food. Love it

Arrived a little too cold, but still edible. The price was reasonable. I'm going to assume this was a one off mistake, because everything else was fine. Will order again and hopefully will be able to rate higher if the food arrives hot.

The chips had no cheese on and the wrap had barely any sauce

The pizza was terrible i ordered through uber THe food was discusting. Not eatable pizza. I will never order again from them i call up and they put down the call on me because i said they made oily and tomuch chease on pizza could not eat it 🤮

My favourite Takeaway exceeded themselves tonight! I'm a regular going in for a takeaway but only just found out they do delivery so they don't know me as a regular. Ordered my food through a delivery app and it didn't arrive. Spoke to someone who was very apologetic. My food arrived within 20 mins and was worth the wait!!! Better than the big pizza places and they do buy 1 get one free!!! Bonus!!!

Disgusting. Ordered a spicy veggie pizza, took it home and it had beef bits on it. Called up and had the phoned put down on me. Vile.

Horrible. Ordered 2 chicken burgers and mozzarella sticks and both of the chicken burgers had so much Mayo. We couldn’t even eat one because of the amount of Mayo and the mozzarella sticks literally had a small fly in the box 🤢

Brought a Chicken and mushroom pizza and nearly had to call an ambulance as my boyfriend was choking on a 20p coin… called Derby City pizza to tell them what happened and they hung up! Shambles of a place! Never ordering from them again!!

Underwhelming, especially the chips.

Went here Monday night and it was terrible. Had a doner kebab which was literally dripping in fat 🤢 My belly has not been right since 😅 they also overcharged me. Avoid all day.

Ancient refried chicken (alleged) escalope drowned in garlic flavoured mayo in an untoasted wrap that they didn't even bother to roll into a wrap...it was just served open, flat, flapping in the breeze it's contents only secured by the aforementioned vat of sauce...a handful of refried frozen chips was an additional £2 .50 as well as 50p 'service charge' and 50p for using a card.... probably the worst £10 I have ever spent. God only knows what the 'nibblets meal' was...perhaps the souls of their previous victims battered, fried served in polystyrene and doused in fake mayo This meal didn't even help with my hunger as the energy I used up furious after consuming it far outweighed any potential nutritional value ingested. Avoid

I was sober and this food was inedible.. dry old chicken that had been out all day, not even a proper chicken kebab just reheated hard meat and chips that had been re-fried that were hard with brown tinges. Yes it was past 1am but you still expect a standard especially when I wasn’t some drunk, just someone who was hungry looking for somewhere open after a hard nights work. HUGE waste of £10. ALSO they added 2 x 50p charges to my card without any notice or mention from them of a card charge! Absolutely disgraceful behaviour DONT EAT HERE

Recently ate from here after a night out with my friends. One of the workers proceeded to constantly degrade my calling my friend calling her fat and telling her she needed to lose weight in front of everyone in the take away. I’m deeply disgusted with the attitude and lack of respect the employees have for customers.

Rude, ignorant staff. Paid £20+ for LARGE garlic bread, LARGE doner kebab, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, small chips and spicy chicken wings. Instead we got a small doner meat and chips, small garlic bread and cheese, chicken drumsticks that aren’t at all hot, chips, mozzarella sticks and onion rings. When we told them this isn’t what we ordered they said we are wrong and that is what we ordered. Atrocious service and mediocre food, will be going somewhere else next time.

Good and cheap kebabs and pizza. Offer a large discount on select items with student ID. Meat toppings on pizza can be a bit scarce though.
