Worst kebab I’ve had in all of London. They use regular tortillas and not proper wrap for kebabs on top it being not good mix of ingredients. Service took over 15 minutes for a mid kebab

Everything was ok the mix doner was very oily.

Strong lamb doner kebab wrap - you could even have one sober. The staff are exceptionally polite, friendly, and well groomed. This is my go to local spot.

Got banned for leaving truthful reviews, they frequently have them cleaned BTW, avoid this place.

order was accepted at 20.06pm and was due for delivery 20.45.. it turned up at 21.47 and was stone cold... its has obviously been sitting at the restaurant waiting to be collected.

The chips you put in a separate box DO NOT end up soggy, so put the chips in a separate box from the kebab!

Not a single drop of oil in the chilli, love the perfectionism of this shop, now it's just the chips that need work, they need to travel better... 👏🏾

Cold food and the portion size has struck? Won’t be returning

During my short trip to London, I constantly searched for flavors from far away and decided to try them on my way home one day. From then on, I ate from here every day until I returned to my country because they do a good job and the price-quality balance is excellent.

Chips were greasy and not crispy

Very nice chicken doner. Well presented. Nice Pitta and salad. £5 for not so large fries let down an otherwise good experience. Price should be lower or portion larger I feel.

Nice chicken doner. Good pitta and salad and chilli sauce. Not so large fries for £5 was disappointing as i know a cheaper ingredient so figured they'd be a bit more generous. I feel price too high, or portion too small, so I would recommend a kebab, but avoid the fries unless feeling extravagant.

I'm a regular customer but tonight's order was absolutely disgusting. The chicken donner was definitely gone off and the smell from the meat was awful.

The chicken shish meat was really not very nice. We ended up throwing most of it away. It tasted like the meat might be off or turning. Really disappointing as we are regular customers here and the food is normally excellent.

Very good fresh kebab.. in fact best tasting kebab in the area!!! Open till am with is a bonus. However I found some staff are a bit standoffish and too serious. Would be excellent if they smiled and were a bit friendly. This would change the atmosphere rating!

Terrible, terrible, terrible. I will warn against all possible punters to stay away, please. Not only is the food overpriced, the service is abysmal, borderline abusive. I went here a few months ago and the cook made me cry because I asked for garlic and chilli sauce, with a condescending tone he asked ‘anything else’. I may be emotional but I don’t think my reaction was unjust. Stay away from this establishment at all cost, especially my man at the counter.

One of my go tos for their falafel wrap when I want a healthy fix. Packed with flavour and salad. Friendly service and the chicken shish kebab is good too. Recommend.

Just the most lovely family run kebab shop - owners are a joy and treat everyone with kindness. A local favourite!

The mixed shish & salad I had was tasty and fresh. But the chilli sauce could be improved.

The food was good, a variety of meats. Nice fresh salad (unfortunately i didn’t try it, as it had chilli in it). Prices are reasonable

Avoid this place at all costs. Never tasted such horrible meat, bread was stale and overall the place isn't very clean!

Doner is nice. Meat tastes good. Staff are friendly. Just your run of the mil Turkish kebab shop that serves tasty food. Nothing wrong with that all.

I've been going to these guys for years. Unfortunately their quality has dropped and their lack of customers is concerning. They need to start an ubereats service to gain attention again, but as someone else said, the owner refuses to do this.

I had a Donner kebab which was perfectly fine and didn't result in any stomach issues but I can't say the salad selection was overly inspiring and the sauces definitely weren't as good as other kebab shops in the surrounding area.v

City kebab is family favourite, always happy with their service and food always taste great!

A kebab is just a kebab. Oh no it isn't! City have a HUGE mixed grill kebab, all off the grill plate. Wrapped in a flatbread like a giant spring roll. Amazing. Tops off any night.

I ordered food and was served after 12 and before entering i asked if they were open, when i ordered kofte the food was smelling of spirit when i went to kindly ask the food to be remade he told me to get lost and switched the light off, terrible and the attitude of the owner was beyond vile, he seriously needed a slap, would never reccomend it, dont even deserve a star

Estaba esperando un amigo en Stoke Newington, y decidimos coger un coche para pasar el tiempo/porque yo era hambre. Personal amable. Doners puede ser un poco impredecible, pero este era realmente excelente, y una porción muy razonable. Pedimos chilies verde, y me dio un montón! Altamente recomendado

Proper old school kebabs not 60% meat and the rest bread or whatever they shove in them meat like most. First time I went there on my first bite it brought flashbacks of the good old days when kebabs were meaty kebabs.

We love this place - me and my boyfriend often get the chicken shish for dinner - everything is really fresh, brilliant sause, and great wraps - we have it at least once per week. absolutely brilliant!

Solía ser un gran fan de la comida turca, en algún tiempo en últimos años me dejé de comer kebabs donar. Sin embargo, mientras que yo iba andando en Stoke Newington High Street para encontrar un buen lugar para ir a comer, vi esta casa es, que me parece a mí muy limpia, pedí un gran Doner kebab y el precio es muy razonable, porción es muy grande, con ensalada verde fresca . Volver inicio, ya que no tienen área de estar, me gustó mucho la comida. Y el personal es amable y abierta de mente, escuchar a los clientes.

A difficult review to write. On the one hand, it is a tasty kebab. On the other, every time I've visited I've had explosive diarrhoea. I wish I could say that the latter stopped me from visiting regularly.

Nice kebabs always go there once a month and have the lamb ones in a wrap, the staff is also very friendly...

Best kebab shop in Stoke Newington by a long way - and easily on a par with some of the more expensive places in Dalston. Their shish and falafel wraps are delicious!
