We had eaten there before and liked it very much, so today we ordered it for take-out and both my wife and I felt ill.

We ordered Lahmacun, by far the best in London. It is top quality. I just ordered another 25 Lahmacun for a Sunday family treat. Will be there to collect in 30 mins. Very good packaging too! Doesn’t leave the dough soggy. Thank you!

By far the WORST soup i have had till this day & age! i’ve never tasted anything like this. i wish i could leave 0 stars! it was literally WATER was better of buying water with meat in it. Had 0 flavour! WAY too over priced for such disgusting food. Wouldnt even give my dog this!

When you first enter, the staff will greet you with a smile, the food is very delicious and the Turkish style pita bread is fresh and warm, the Turkish breakfast is also amazing, I recommend you to try it at least once.👍

Very disappointed. Ordered Kele paça and chicken soup. Lamb soup was extremely spicy, very oily, couldn't even eat it. Not everyone can have such a spicy food. Before when was eat it in, they've asked if we wanna garlic sauce with it, now never. Spicy as hell! Chicken soup was without any orzo, just dried chicken breast and water. Not any spices, salt etc. A day before we went to have eat it in, and the Order we received was completely different from take away. Very, very disappointed. Lahmacun good as usual, but soups deserved less than 1 star on delivery.

It's a great new restaurant, the food is awesome and you can taste it fresh, I've had pide and breakfast which were both very nice and reasonably priced, must try.

Customer service is bad. The Lahmacun was nice and the chefs were so friendly but the waitress customer service terrible.

The foods is disgusting very bad and the service is bad too they're very miserable and the prices is very expensive. Never again waste of money and time.

The lahmacun was tasteless, barely any meat on there and even the dough was bland. It just tasted like dry bread. The salad was not great either, no flavour on it just chopped up and bunched together. 2 stars for the good service but I would not recommend for the lahmacun, especially if you’re used to the authentic flavour.

Beautiful interior, delicious food, friendly employees, quick service. If I had to say something negative I guess it would be the price of pide but even then lahmachun is 2.50 so I can't complain

ignored and Did not care for specifications on my order, food was bad quality bread came burnt. Wrap came with 3/4 filled with salad for the price it's bad service and bad value Edit: claims it's an uncommon occurrence but everyone I know localy will not recommend them anymore probably the worst restaurant in the area, it happens all the time, avoid at all cost. Manage is super rude and does not care. Used to be good like 3 years ago now wouldn't take food from there even if it was free.

This shop isn't serious at all. Despite all this negative reviews, i thought to give them a shoot and order something. Not because i like them or their food(i didn't try it in the past), just because i found at them a recipe wich i really like it(from other turkish restaurant wich i'm not living nearby anymore). They cancel it straigh away my order and select that recipe as unavailable. Not sure why, maybe because is hard to cook, or they need to do it fresh and didn't had precooked allready so i can serve old dish(as i can see many customers did). Unpleasant experience overall

We ordered mevlana special through just eat. I even called the restaurant to make sure food is sent hot and fresh. The food arrived burnt. The cold MeZe was off and the salad was very soggy. I was very disappointed at the quality of the food it was not safe for me to eat that. I called the restaurant, my name and number was taken for the manager to call back. I chased it up the next two days. I finally managed to get hold of the owner who was extremely rude and didn’t want to take any responsibility. He refused to compensate anything even thought it cost me not only Money but an embarrassment infront of my guest. The owner’ attitude towards this whole matter was appalling. Very unprofessional. He didn’t apologies once.

Delivery driver sat outside with my food for twenty minutes then was abusive and completely wrong order avoid unless you want items missing picture below shows what they gave me and it’s supposed to be chicken shish lol

I’m honestly gobsmacked l from the order we collected. £30 worth of food to be giving absolute NISH. Lamb Shish given 5 cubes and 10 pieces chips, salad box smaller than the chefs brain. Bread was stale and more burnt than dark chocolate. We asked for a large portion of rice and they gave us a small. NEVER EVER WILL I BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN. And lady on the phone had a massive attitude

One of the best places i’ve ever eaten out in Southampton. Even the salad and dips that they bring out at the beginning were mouthwatering. The drinks were delicious and the main courses were fantastic. The staff were extremely courteous, made us and the kids laugh, & made us feel very comfortable. There was one guy who seemed a little stressed, who let the general atmosphere down a bit, but it was only really noticeable due to the great hospitality of everyone else. Definitely worth 5 stars.

Order arrived after an hour not 40-50 minutes quoted. The Turkish pizza was cold and flavourless, the chips were soggy and cold. My intially order was £13 pounds I was told it was £15 min order. I told the guy to add a drink and baklava to bring the order up to £15. I was charged £18.40 and they didn't bring the sauces I asked for either. Will never order from here again rubbish!

Had food from here a few times. Every time order is wrong and delivered cold. 4 times had hairs. 2 times plastic Food is not of the standard we are used to from kebab shops. Honest save your money and buy elsewhere Also if you call and tell them they are not understanding at all and very rude.

A very well tendered mixed kebab. We were passing by and stopped here for a family dinner. I will surely come again since the food is nice and the staff is extremely kind and helpful.

You'll get 1 amazing meal followed by 2 average meals. Depends what sort of mood the chef is in that day.

These lot need to fix up! I called up asking for soup and I the staff started recommending stews (fasulye) because of a language barrier. I managed to explain myself and resolve the misunderstanding when I began speaking in Turkish, but the lad was adamant I said "stew" and not "soup". Then a delivery guy shows up with my order and states "people don't check their orders" and starts waffling on. I explained the stew and soup mix up and he carried on repeating himself! He then gives me the wrong change, till I reminded him of the total. That was the worse delivery experience I have ever had! Elamanlar dandik.

Devastating experience, I would not order or recommend to anyone. I made an order yesterday and my food came freezing cold I literally had to warm it up in the over as I have baby couldn’t run to give it back. I then call up to tell them about the horrible experience however I was told the driver was at the door waiting thats why my food was cold. After waiting for 40mins I get cold freezing food which I have to warm up in the over and was told by manager they are in the right. So it’s okay from MEVLANA restaurant to deliver cold food

A super local/ kebab restaurant. Spotlessly clean. Lamb was so tender.Tons of fresh salad Free nibbles eg breads and chopped tomatoes etc.. No alcohol but that was ok because wed been for a drink else where so had canned soft drinks The waiter brought a container of ice and tongs so we could top up drinks as it was so hot. They boxed up my daughters burgers to take home. Delightful staff.

What i remember as an average 8-9 out of 10 restaurant shocked me today with not even a 1 out of 10 as I had the worst experience from this place and won’t ever be going there again had a lamb shish that tasted on it’s way out or gone off already still thought I wouldn’t write a review until after only two bites now have been stuck in the restroom for more than half of the day thanks mevlana

We were a group of 6 and had soup for starter and shared a platter. There was complimentary salad, meze and bread. Everything was very nice and freshly prepared. Average priced. Would recommend.

Seriously not impressed with Mevlana the first time I ordered on Just Eat.co.uk.. ordered the same food again on the telephone and was bitterly disappointed.. Burnt onion rings and a burnt burger with lettuce I had to source locally from my fridge.. I'm not sure what the burger was but it resembled nothing like the chicken burger i ordered the first time, about 3/4 weeks ago. The £16 order also included a lamachum menu item 'kiymali pidum' which was burnt too, but for the most part edible. Mevlana have lost a loyal and once excited customer for their branch. I won't be ordering from Mevlana again.

I ordered soup from here and they packaging was absolutely devastating the soup was had leaked inside the plastic bag and was very messy. I couldn’t take it out the bag as it would make a mess the soup was not in the container it was wrapped with paper i have taken photos of it too. When i called the restaurant the person on the phone said it is not our fault and that they couldn't do anything they did not apologise or speak to us in a nice way. No professional customer service, he told us it is the uber was in fault but they person who delivered the food made it very clear that it was not his fault he said it was given to him like that and wasn't packaged properly he said he put it in the bag exactly how they gave it to him. We are here with no food and no refund.

Would not recommend this restaurant unless you want to waste your money! ordered food from there tonight. Food was disgusting . Chips were stone cold. Lahmacun was tasteless. Also ordered an Adana wrap that was also tasteless and cold . Waste of £33. There only solution was that they would give us extra food the next time we order from them.

We went to Mevlana for a family dinner because some relatives were regular customers of this place, once known for its nice food. BIG MISTAKE! The pilav rice was overcooked and then microwaved before being served, the Adana tasted like egg rather than meat, portions were very small (if you order meat, they just fill the plate with rice and put little meat) and their baklava EMPTY inside!! Plus they fry their chips in the dining room so if you eat there your clothes will smell like oil! We will never go there again.

Me and my friends have eaten here for many years and I have never had bad food. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious! I have had many takeaways too and it's always been good quality food. Highly recommended!!

I've ordered food delivered from there and I always enjoyed it until today. My order made through the website of the restaurant was made at 19:51 and the food was delivered at 21:15. When I called to ask where it is I was told it is very busy tonight and the food is on the way. When the food finally came I was really surprised to find the pita bread (a single one instead of the usual two) covered in mould. The bulgur/rice looked and tasted strange, it was either old or overcooked it the microwave. That's a huge letdown after the great food I've had from there before. They should really get back in shape.

Their delivery system is a total joke. They had some totally random address we have never even lived at as our “registered” address. They then refused to apologise for the food being sent to the wrong place & by the time it arrived it was colder than it should be. The food was also a bit ‘tight’. Limited meat, not enough walnut in baklava, etc... Not a great experience.

I've always ordered my falafel wrap from Mevlana using the just eat app and have never been disappointed. I thought I'd try their mixed meal and chips meal and was disappointed when it arrived. There wasn't that much meat and it wasn't that flavorful in comparison to other places, luckily it came with a salad and I had also ordered chicken nuggets to beef up the somewhat lacking meal. But impressed! Perhaps it'll be different if I were to order in person but I doubt that I'll be going there anytime soon. Very disappointing.
