Poor service and my fish was soggy and when I asked for tap water was told they don’t have tap water so I googled it and showed it to them that it was against the LAW to refuse to serve tap water So they served us with it When a person comes and spends money in your restaurant you should have the courtesy to at least serve your customers with water as requested and not worry about earning an extra pound because if you do they might not come back and that’s what you loose

Real authentic Indian food. Full of flavour. Staff were attentive, polite and really went the extra mile. The atmosphere was amazing and everyone was having a good time. Can't recommend Citi Kitchen enough. Looking forward to returning.

CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS BEFORE YOU PAY. They added random things to our bill which we DID NOT order. We ordered items which never arrived but they still left it on our bill, we had to call them later to get a refund. Extremely annoying

Went to this restaurant for a meal with the family, food was good but the lack of customer care and attention let the place down, I asked for tap water and they refused to serve, so I bought my own bottle and was told they would charge me £4 for bring my own bottle of water, my son is diabetic and needs water when he eats, how in this day and age can you refuse to serve the 1 common thing in life, water, we were advised that we can bring in any alcohol to drink even though they don't have a license to serve it but any fizzy drinks or water had to be purchased, how can a restaurant that does not have an alcohol license be permitting customer to bring alcohol into the premises but will not serve simple tap water, why is there not a law against this kind of behaviour. I think the police should sit outside this busy establishment on a Friday and Saturday night as I see many people drinking alcohol by the bottles, bet half the customers would be drink driving after coming here as well as dehydrated due to the lack of serving water. I hope this restaurant learns from it's mistakes as this place is suppose to be a family friendly restaurant without a alcohol license but yet on these 2 days every table has a bottle of whisky on it, disgraceful!!!

I’ve been to City Kitchen on a dozen or more times. Two weeks ago we ordered seekh kebabs and for the first time the kebabs came cold!

This place use to do great peri peri chicken, use to be well marinated and cooked properly, This time round I was extremely disappointed with the peri peri chicken this time round as the chicken tasted blant and was extremely unclean and Unshaven!! was not marinated properly could taste the raw ginger garlic paste. The masala flavored chips were delicious hence why 3 star. I would be greatful if they take into consideration preparing the peri peri the way they use to like before and please shave off the extremely grown hairs from all over there chickens skin.

Excellent masala fish bites and chips. Mixed grill was awesome. Overall Excellent food. We called in for reservation and were seated out on the covered patio at first when it was -1 outside, I wish they would of turned the heating on knowing we were coming and prepare better. But we were moved inside right away on request. Overall Excellent food and vibe, service was alright. Definitely recommend the mixed grill and masala fish bites. Solid food

They don't know how to respond to delivery drivers..when you ask three to four times after waiting 20 minutes they told that whe don't know when order will be ready. Poor management

The experience with citi kitchen was very bad, waiting time for appetizer was 30 mins , even staff didnt came to us for any appology for waiting time, they litteraly standing and looking at us . After food came to table when i tried first bite of manchurian it was very hard , not able to chew, and cold from inside. Secondly we orders chilli chicken that was totally raw, i was litteraly vomoting. Very bad experience👎🏻 ,never wanna visit again and expensive too according to quality and quantity.

today i tried butter chicken and fishpakora for takeaway , both was very delicious and yummy .I never ate punjabi food like this in ilford . The staff is very good.

This is a great place for wonderful food and good service

Hi I ordered on Sunday and the aloo bhaingan had a fly in it. The order was smaller than I asked for because in the shop you sell big portions but not for delivery and it took forever to arrive which is shocking but you charged the price for larger items. This happened before with a delivery I mean the small portions and in store the aloo bhaingan was a little raw when I bought it from in store but it took so long to cook. Also the food seems a little off and old. And the lamb saag is so salty. Some of the dishes are good. You keep ignoring emails that I sent you but you invite emails and that’s why I’m posting. And the food is not so so tasty.

Currently my favourite place Superb food and great service by Jaspreet in particular Chicken curry and aloo gobi best I've tried ,finger licking good!! Finish of with their Masala tea, life is good!!

Total waste of time and money . I was there around 7:00 . After 1 hours and 20 minutes they serve us food . Food contains heavy amount of cooking oil even they serve frozen item . They just heated up in microwave and serve us. Total waste of money and time

Regular staple the masala fish and chips! Chips are nice and thick & masala fish is beautiful. Curry dishes are great too, proper Punjabi home cooked style. Lucky to have this near us, we visit at least once a fortnight.

Birthday party was ruined yesterday by incompetent staff and a few rude customers. As a group your bound to make noise however within five minutes of seating we were asked to be quite because another group who had finished their meal and two bottles whiskey said we were too loud... Yet we couldn't hear each other from one side of the table to the other. Handled in a less than professional manner by all staff involved... Highly unlikely to recommend or come back again!

My husband and I, along with three friends really enjoyed the food this evening. We had two lovely mixed starters, and a combination of four meals between five for the main meal, which was plenty. We even went home with surplus food. The price was reasonable, and the young waiters were very helpful. Well done Citi.

Do not order from this place. Awful service - our food arrived 2 hours late. They lied on the phone when we chased it up saying the driver was on the way and in fact the driver only left 10 minutes before the order was placed

We used Citi kitchen for my daughter’s wedding at Erith and Belvedere Gurdwara recently. In fact it was the first wedding since the new gurdwara opened and Citi kitchen surpassed themselves. We had 700 guests there and the food for the breakfast and lunch was amazing. It was so tasty and yummy. The staff were very good and experienced . The service from start to finish was excellent with Angelo coming out personally to make sure that everything would go smoothly from start to finish . Guests from the wedding are still commenting on how delicious the food was. I would give more stars if I could as we are very happy with the service we received

Place needs a hoover and glass needs a clean. Refusing to serve tap water illegal and the reason given by staff is even more absurd. She said 'there's news that tap water is bad for you.' So serving fried food with a lot of oil and is served within 10m is good for you? I think they need to be careful of their explanation and research legal rights of customers. I found this remark hilarious but would not return due to management illegally operating, bad customer service and a lack gluten/dairy free food.

Just got a takeaway as I am working in the area for a couple of weeks. Butter chicken Karahi paneer and pilaf rice and sada naan the food was delicious tasty not to spicy one of the best Indian meals I had I would highly recommend this place you will not be disappointed . Best to order before you go otherwise you be waiting for 20 mins but definitely worth the wait

Today was my birthday and I went for a birthday meal with my parents . Unfortunately the waiter refused to seat us away from 3 Asian boys who had finished with their food but were sitting in the restaurant for time pass . I was unhappy to sit right next to them as they were speaking loudly and vulgar about women ! All we ordered was starter and left . Very upset as I had request to the waiter to be seat elsewhere and his response ‘ it’s a table for 6’ . So what ! Your restaurant was very empty when I visited today . Next time don’t be so lazy and customer focused . Will never return to this place .
