Cinnamon Tree in Swansea

Last time I had mixed feelings about the food because my food was good and the for the rest of the family it was bad. I gave the place one last chance last night and it was terrible for me. If takeaways are going to be expensive, it's a luxury for us to enjoy but also a luxury for the staff to not botch it up. The onion bhaji was raw in the centre, and my favourite dish is dhansak was overly sweetened. Bath the biggest insult was being served unfresh chips that tasted like log wood. If food is going to be pricey, I expected it fresh and delicious at least for their efforts. Overall: Not worth the return for hit and miss results.

Today I tested chicken dupiaja and keema nan from cinnamon tree this best Indian food I ever try.staff and food overall best.

The lamb bhuna and chicken biryani it was really good, my mouth was full of flavours I recommend you getting this

Best Indian food I’ve had in a long time. Shame it was late. But worth the wait.

As an Indian I am saying this, this is the worst place I have ever had from !! The food doesn’t taste good at all. Lamb wasn’t cooked at all properly, the naan bread wasn’t cooked properly and was all undercooked. The food was sweet, something that was supposed to be served spicy! Everything that I ordered went straight to my bin Complete waste of money !!

Very disappointing meal. Took half hour longer than stated to arrive and was Luke warm, onion bahgis were cold and not at all crispy, very stodgy. Not sure that I would order again.

I have been living Swansea for 14 years, coming Birmingham with the famous balti triangle I have struggled to find anything really decent. My meat sagg balti madras hot was stunning. exactly as I would expect and more than made up for the delivery time. thank you

Onion bhajis were missing from the order. I have requested a refund on the item but I haven't heard anything back. My daughter had the chicken tikka masala and has been leaking from every orifice since. Not great.

Vegetarian ordered a peshwari naan, recieved keema and was slightly eaten

I've been looking for an Indian of good quality, found it..! It was nice to have a small bag of salad and sauce with the meal. It's the little things that make it great. Thanks and will be back

Will not be ordering from here again. Food was cold on arrival, I suspect that it had been in the driver's boot for 45 mins but insisted that he had come straight from the restaurant. Complete disregard for their customers who provide them with their income.

The chicken tikka masala, chicken korma, and chicken makhani I had were the best Indian dishes I've ever tasted and the delivery was fast as well

Just had a delivery. Lamb was extremely tough. My wife had a vegetable balti which was full of frozen veg not fresh. It was all mushy. Not happy as they charge £8.40 for a veg balti.

Very unhappy with this meal as I was supposed to have a vindaloo and it was like a mild curry wasn't nice at all, also my friend had a korma and it was tasteless both meal were the plain rice was awful, very disappointed

Gone too the dogs,always used and was always very good.Tried it again last night thinking it was a one off,but sadly no, hurry was far too watery and chicken was disgusting, I suspect the old chef has left.

food was disgusting. pilau rice was watery and uncooked, chicken korma sauce was alright but the chicken in the korma sauce wasn’t cooked properly as it was pink throughout. naan bread was freezing cold and was pale. i wouldn’t recommend buying a curry from here.

Chicken vindaloo and boiled rice. Very little chicken, seemed to be substituted with potatoes, as, in the sauce it was difficult to see the difference. A bit disappointed about that. Good portions of rice and vindaloo though, and delivered hot.

I had a delivery, rice was bland and watery. The chicken korma was bland and oily and overcooked. I ordered the spicy chips which came extremely soggy and all almost blended into a mush when I tried to pick it up, bit into a chip and was undercooked.

Barley any chicken in the Jalfrezi, which was also extremely watery

Dhansak not sweet and sour (not much flavour) and meat portions in both dishes were small

I ordered murgh marengo and coconut rice with poppadoms and mint sauce. Delivered hot, freshly made and good portions. Absolutely delicious 😋. Highly recommend

Ordered a chicken vindaloo, boiled rice and mint sauce. Delivered hot , a delicious curry, good portions and full of tender chicken. Highly recommend.

I have no idea how to explain this. The chicken korma was not a korma. We don’t even know what it was, it was so runny we couldn’t do anything with it and completely tasteless. It’s had to go straight in the bin. Strangely the other curry a chicken dhansak was a nice thick sauce and tasted lovely. Won’t return unfortunately.

My family and I have enjoyed first class food from Cinnamon Tree for many years now. The food always arrives hot and delicious. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend.

I ordered a tikka kebab. It was tasty but it seemed to have been served in a mini naan bread.

The food was lovely really enjoyed but very very small portions for how expensive it was !! ,the containers of the curry itself were barely even half full with only a few pieces of meat in each !! I Won’t be ordering again!

Most food was cold - biriyani sauce was watery, barely any chicken on the bone on the starter (I have this every other week and have never have any issues but this week was disappointing) gutted!

Good quality food as always, the sauce in the Badam Pasanda was a bit on the thin side but the meal was still tasty. The tandoori chicken was lovely.

Food was amazing and very fresh and hot but Delivery was quite a bit later than the time given when ordering.

Food took over an hour and a half. To be delivered, not the worst thing and driver was apologetic. Curry was tasty but the naan was cold, chips and popadoms were so stale they couldn’t be eaten.. a lot of money wasted, not the best quality! First time ordering from here, given the food and money I’ve wasted, I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.
