Always have the same curry when somewhere new. Not impressed too much onion and pepoers to bulk the meal out. Not one I will be going back to

My favourite Indian restaurant. The food is extremely tasty and the prices aren’t too bad compared with some other Indian local establishments.

First time visiting this restaurant. Very pleasant experience. Staff, food, and surroundings are all excellent. Will come again.

Curry was hot but very bland, 2nd time we have tried this place , first time was a disaster food was wrong, asked for no coriander and they still put it in, asked for Childs meal they brought a adult meal , I like to try again at places as can be times it's rushed or busy but after going back this wk when it was quieter I still don't think food is the best so sadly even though it's local to us I dint think I would use again

hit and miss recently, with this order the lamb was tough as boots. wasn't very nice

We ordered on Just Eat and found the onion bahjis delicious, the curry’s lovely and the rice fluffy. Haven’t been in but plates are clean and would definitely order again!

Great meal - we have literally just finished it and the rice was lovely and fluffy, the naans were delicious and the onion bahjis were very yummy. Will definitely be ordering again.

Came for a young boy Luke last night being single we had such a fun time drinking your lovely cobra. The food was almost amazing. The only thing that let us down was the fact we had too much of it because we loved it that but please everybody in the Mick over area head over to this lovely establishment as recommended by Marco his wife.

Wow! Lovely meal, perfect. Garlic naan hot and fresh, mega portion of hot fresh fries and the chicken tikka main was sooo tasty, great quality, good portion size, perfect seasoning (looked and tasted like the real deal, not bought-in like most) and came with lots of cooked-down onions. Mint sauce is the best in Derby, proper neon, fresh and minty - actually the reason I chose to order from here. Such a lovely treat, thank you

Excellent experience. Top quality food, that was very good value. The service provided by Saklaine was first class. The company of the King of The North (aka D Lawrence) made for a most memorable evening.

dry, flavourless, unseasoned egg fried rice. waited about 20 minutes for it was not worth the wait😞

We have been regular clients here for the past 6 months ourselves and family!!! We have always enjoyed every meal here!!! The service is fantastic! Especially Saklaine and Amir !!! This is definitely a regular with our family!!! X

Very poor, nan bread was undercook and Seemed old dry no filling, lamb balti was not nice, lamb tough and had a different taste to normal. Had same meal number of time from same restaurant usually good but gone downhill last couple of times

Excellent meal, all dishes given top marks but the garlic and cheese nans were the best we had ever had.

Efficient delivery, with a smile. Quality ingredients, lean chicken tikka in the balti (and a nice sized portion), light fluffy pilau rice. Naan was delivered hot, cheese still melty, but more garlic would be good. Absolutely love the mint sauce and being able to order it as an extra. Definely ordering again, now my local favourite for a special treat. Really wish they'd offer some of the same specials that are available in the restaurant though, booked a table a few weeks ago and had the loveliest, richest dish from the specials menu, would love to be able to order the same for home too.

Briyani was not as spicy as it should be but it tasted good for a hungry stomach. Need to try out more options . Ample seating, free parking and decent bar

Read the reviews before visiting and was unsure on going here. I'd agree the staff don't seem friendly, been to plenty of Indian restaurants and usually the staff are very friendly - not this one - maybe the area or because everyone in Derby nearby also are miserable. Go for the love of curry not the staff in this diner. Food was ok, had way better Lamb Pathia before. Had the buffet and sat down, price isn't too bad. (£17.95) plus drinks or supplements. The restaurant is clean and well kept.

everything arrived piping hot. ordered for 9pm, arrived early. cheese and garlic naan still all melty, lots of cheese. ordered chicken tikka balti but received chicken balti - not as expected, still nice. wish delivery menu was the same as dining in

there was 2 items missing from my order and the food was cold. i spent £40 for things to be missing and the food to be cold. i have visited cinnamon loung before and i was really impressed but ordering through just eat isn’t the best

I love the curries from here. We order often but tonight was disappointing as the wrong curry came, it was far spicier than my normal Balti and I couldn’t eat it 😢

Food was great but the staff was a bit distant and cold creating a less cosy atmosphere. It was not busy so not sure why the 'tude.

Extremely rude behaviour by the staff at the reception while receiving the guests at entrance. Food quality was below par. The vegetarian dishes were sweet and portions were small. The order was incorrectly delivered to the table and staff were quite disinterested throughout. They showed lack of energy from start to finish in their customer service. Limited vegetarian options - taste is not for traditional Indian palette. The only positives were the availability of parking right in front of the restaurant and the clean premises.

I live 2 minutes away, food was cold and so was the Naan bread. Not impressed

Ordered take away arrived late but we wasn't too bothered but the food was cold, tandoori chicken appears like stew was awful. Curry was watered down, was totally disappointed with the whole meal cost £75 approx for complete awful food. Rang restaurant awaiting manager to call us back. Will be going to trading standards as food was not fit for purpose .....avoid at all cost

Lamb Madras was vile…hard chewy lumps of Tough lamb…in a ‘no substance’ sauce….never again! no thank you …..yuk !

Chilli garlic chicken tikka and chicken tikka masala were made to the same standard as eating in ordered on Boxing Day. But sometimes on a Saturday night it is not as freshly cooked and sauces not thick or spicy enough (pathia was not like the restaurant)

This place has always been the best for Indian curries in Derby, but it seems like they have finally stepped up their biryani game too! The chicken tikka biryani tonight was 💋👌🏾 , and as always, the veg curry side that comes with it was banging! Thanks guys :)

Absolutely dreadfully all round.. won't even return! The staff were dis-interested, the food was extremely bland the portions very small.. absolutely no atmosphere.. the icing on the cake however was when one of the rice's had been missed the waiter attempt to scrape the rice from another of our party's plate onto ours saying this was ours. (he has started to eat his meal) this is absolutely unacceptable service!!

Great but chicken tikka was undercooked

Order still not here it’s been two hours since time it stated it would be here. Rang 4 times now and I’ve been met with excuses saying it’s coming and it’s not. Bad bad service and two hungry not happy customers with out food.

Unfortunately i got a LAMB biryani (very dry as well) instead of a CHICKEN biryani, which i ordered. It was too late at night to try to send back :/

Don't bother I went for something to eat about a month ago and was charged more than it should have been, they said they would contact me the day after when they had revised the bill and never got back to me. I had a takeaway from there on Saturday, I was ordering it to be delivered, I had three different people question where I lived. They then took my order and I decided, while i was still on the phone to collect it, the man on the phone deducted £5.70 from my bill for the delivery I was going to have. When I went to collect it they advertise free delivery? The staff are so ignorant, while I was waiting for my order (10pm) a man was mopping the floor around me. The food was tasteless with no effort put into it at all.

Don’t bother ordering off the menu might as well have set menu deal as I was told portion was larger off menu was exactly the same size but cost me £8-95 more when I questioned this at payment was told oh sorry mate I will mention it not the best way of doing business food was ok as well but I knew from previous experience the set menu was smaller portions hence why I went to main menu unfortunately will not be visiting this place anymore

Actually really good but there were long delays to deliberately make our party buy more beer. That said the butter Chicken was outstanding and so was the cheese Naan although it was a little tight on the cheese. Come on lads great resto, don't be cheap! Two stars one basic plus one for the good banter, but the beer delay trick kind of spoiled the taste, pun not intended.

Food is always great from here, doesn’t matter whether you eat in the restaurant or have it delivered to home! Staff are lovely and portion sizes are great. Delivery came a little earlier than expected too which was fantastic. Thank you!

Very bland. Rarely have I eaten such poor food in a curry restaurant in Derby. Was expecting better things, having perused reviews. Can only assume that the positive comments submitted are from those who are clueless regarding cuisine from the Indian subcontinent. Try pretty much anywhere else and you'll find a superior experience.

Really tasty, polite delivery driver. Arrived quicker than expected. My only complaint is there was still the black intestine in some of the king prawns which should be removed before cooking so it put me off the food a bit. But overall flavour was really good.

The WORSE food I've had...binned it. I ordered the steak..just dont bother, absolutely vile. Really annoyed as we did this as a treat, what a waste... Refund requested.
