Been looking for a decent Indian takeaway for ages and this place hits the spot. Great prices and value and each curry is full of flavour and tastes different, unlike some other places. The poppadoms are fresh, chops are flavourful and the mushroom rice is light and fluffy (as is the naan). Update: Great that you can order and pay online now. We’ve ordered several time from Cinnamon, ordering different dishes each time. They’ve all been absolutely delicious with tender meat. It’s amazing value and cannot recommend enough. Absolutely delicious and can’t wait until next time (and the delivery man is nice).

Horrible service, extremely rude staff and refuse who kept delaying order again and again. Food is very average too, much better Indian Restaurants around, recommend going there.

My wife, daughter and I stayed here twice on vacation and were thrilled both times. We know a few good Indian restaurants in Berlin, but this one tops them all! We had a few different dishes and all of them, without exception, were delicious. The Cinnamon is really underrated and should get more attention. Plus, the food is super cheap by London standards. The service was very attentive and overall excellent! We'll come back next time we're in London, no matter how far away it is! Since the dishes are primarily picked up, not much was invested in the dining room, but that doesn't detract from the very positive overall experience.

Great curry house , tasty and fantastic value !

Good food. We went there by chance as our original choice had a power cut. We were not disappointed and will go back, maybe a takeaway next time. Service was very good, helpful and beyond the normal. Decor a little bit makeshift but the food and service made up for that. Well worth a try.

Fantastic curry, best in the area (Brockley, New Cross, etc) - Super friendly staff, we used to live in the flat above and they were always so kind to us. Really good value for money, would say best for takeaway, the seating area could do with a bit of a refurbishment.

The food is very nice and good sized portions. However it is very frustrating that their online ordering system doesn't work. I have tried this from mobile and tablet but it gets stuck on "Processing". I keep trying this but end up having to phone which takes longer. I wish they would get this sorted as they must be losing Customers who can't be bothered to ring.

Probably alright to take away from, but DO NOT COME IN TO EAT. No idea what the food is like, because as hard as we tried we simply could not get the guy to come over and take our order. In the end we just paid for the poppadoms and left. Terrible service and atmosphere.

Lived in a number of places in South London over the years (Brockley, New cross, Rotherhithe, Croydon) and this was definitely my favourite Indian. Each dish packed with flavour, sauce is nice and thick and the prices are fantastic.

Been using thus place for a few years. Always good food for vegetarians. Decent size portions, and friendly service, what's not to like? I would say that the one time I tried to order on website, it didn't work, but not not really an issue for me.

nowhere else compares, cinnamon just hits the spot. also quick delivery and arrives hot. staff are super friendly. my only criticism is that they're closed on mondays which often seems to be when i really really want a curry. like right now

One of the worst curries I have had in the area. The chicken was dry and solid, extremely over cooked, the sauce had an unpleasant flavour and the peshwari nan was tough, chewy and flavourless. It also took 1hr 45 mins to arrive. Disappointed.

This is my favorite Indian and have been ordering it for years but lately the pieces of chicken in the curries keep getting smaller and this is the main reason I get from here because all the other Indian's do the same thing think I'm going to have to find another one

Solid. Get the pink Reshmi, chilli chicken masala and the chicken dish with asafoetida (forgotten the name). The menu is too big so some dishes disappoint but figure out which are good and to your liking and they will deliver consistently to a high standard in large portions at a reasonable price. What more can you want?

Meh. Food was flavorful but they skimp on the meat and cover it up with veggies. Also, service could be a little more attentive than shouting across the restaurant.

I usually get a couple of curries on a Friday and Saturday night delivered to me but since last Friday 30th Nov and Saturday 01st Dec, the lamb and chicken curries were not the same, they tasted oilier, heavier and less delicious than previously. I tried them again on Tuesday and it was still the same, to the point where it was un-edible. Bring back the other chef!!!!

I’m writing as I’m eating because this place is amazing! I’m so happy in the way only good food can make you feel. Cinnamon is best Indian in south London. Lemongrass lamb starter is so fresh and zingy. Staff lovely and knowledgable. Has been known as a take away place so the decor isn’t all singing and dancing but this adds to the charm in my opinion.

Nice food, good takeaway option, but the dining-in option looks a little...sad. Never seen anyone eating there, and only 4 tables.

Best Indian in South East London. No other compares. Its a shame they're not open Monday, as we've just ordered another Indian takeaway and the quality between the two is night and day. I have vowed never to order another Indian unless its Cinnamon. Portion sizes are perfect, food is freshly prepared and sauces are not greasy unlike this other takeaway I've ordered. Best curry in south London. Amazing food and prices.

I would advice you not to eat here if you are vegetarian.... Luckily I am not .as there was piece of mutton in my vegetarian madras ! I contacted the owner to suggest he find out what happened in his kitchen that night as my friends are vegetarians and I know they would probably throw up with such an incident.. They did reply and said they would find out ..and never heard a thing ...so over to the power of Google ...there is no escaping sloppy business !!!!

There is only space for about 12 to eat in, but it is well worth being one of the 12! The menu is extensive with beautiful fish curries as well as more tradional dishes. The food is high quality and very well cooked. An excellend blend of spices is used and oil or ghee is certaily not over used. The service is excellent and probably, because of the take away turnover, the ingredients were really fresh. On top of everything it was great value for money especially as BYO is welcomed with no extra cost. If you are a student at Goldsmiths or live local make this place your regular Indian. You won't be disappointed!

Cinnamon is our local Indian restaurant and we are so happy it is! The food is reliably solid, the delivery is always faster than they estimate, and it's super reasonable - our £17 order usually feeds the two of us a large dinner with enough left over for our lunches the next day. The Murgh Bari Khana is one of my favorite dishes, especially in the colder months. One thing I really like about Cinnamon is that the food is never oily/greasy, which a lot of take away can be. Overall, Cinnamon is a great spot for take away or delivery (I've never eaten in the restaurant).

Been there today with my gf, the waiter was really rude, we asked for mild food, but he gives us really spicy, when we tell him it's too hot then instead of saying sorry he said Indian people like spicy that's why i give you spicy, really disappointed when we ask him twice for mild food while ordering food,

I have lived in London for 7 years, and have tried to find a curry house that I could call 'the one'. That day has arrived people! Everything from the telephone order, delivery time, delivery driver, and the food...oh the food. You will not be disappointed!

I love this place. Their food is really good. It's fresh, not too heavy on the use of ghee, loads of vegetables in the main dishes and big portions. My go to Indian takeaway.

Excellent and varied curries on offer . Take your own drinks with no charge for opening the wine , which is a serious bonus . Good service and prices , though watch the price of the papads they offer you , if I remember right they are £5 for 4 plus the dips , bit cheeky . Apart from that everything else was super .

My partner and I had a craving for Indian foods and had a look around what was avaliable. We stumbled upon cinnamon and definitly were not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious from starters to main course. Our waiter Abdul was polite, attentive and always happy to help. A shame we are going home to Australia otherwise we would definitely be back.

We have eaten in here once before and is a quiet place but very friendly,tonight we had a take away and very cheap and amazing food very big potions we go all over eaten Indians and this is up there with the best!! Superb!!

My daughter uses this take way regularly but won't do so again unless they really try to apologise . We ordered at 7 pm and was told it would take 50 minutes, we eventually got it after 8.30 following several phone calls. No apologies, we couldn't speak to the manager and no explanation. She asked for a refund butt none forth coming. The food was delicious but cold so had to be reheated in the oven and microwave before we could enjoy it. A very very poor service. A simple phone call, apology or discount would have defused the situation but there was no attempt to keep a regular customer happy. Such a shame but recommend you don't use this restaurant if you want a service you can relyon.

Absolutely the best Indian takeaway in London. I've lived all over and tried every Indian in the land and this is THE one. It's very well priced. The portions are humongous and the quality is absolutely unrivalled. Dhansak is hot and rich, tandoori chicken succulent and massive. Naan's soft and fluffy, bhajis crisp and not greasy. The food is piping and the staff friendly. If you're within delivery range seriously don't go anywhere else. I love Cinnamon, you've got a customer for life. Never change.

Good food in a very informal environment

Visited Cinnamon last night after looking for an Indian in the area. What a find! The food was all excellent, very well spiced and flavourful. So glad I there is a place of this quality in my area, I'll definitely be back.

So glad that TripAdvisor led us here. Everything was delicious, and a couple of the dishes were recipes we had never seen before. Clean and friendly too. It's BYOB, no corkage, and there are a couple of stores within 2 minute walk. Good night.

We visit regularly as it's our local & what a local to have! The food is always great, the best Tarka Dhal you will eat anywhere! The staff are friendly & helpful. You must take your own wine, as it's not licensed, but that suits us! Importantly they have a good food hygiene rating, which is a must for us! If you haven't been, it's a must try!

I'm amazed at how good the food is here - not your standard Indian restaurant, but tastes really fresh with some more unusual dishes available too. The Goan fish curry and the Tarka Dall are our favourites. The Naan breads are good too.They've recently done up the decor too (though the picture on this site is definitely for the wrong restaurant!) and we always like chatting with the staff who are really friendly.Plus it's BYOB which is always handy.Whether for takeaway or for a restaurant meal, if you're nearby definitely go to Cinnamon!

This is the best 'standard' indian takeaway in New X / Brockers. Obviously you can upgrade to babur, but for over 5 years they've been reliable and delicious. they're also full of banter f you and eat there - plus it's BYOB!

Now you would never have expected this, but that little restaurant will actually surprise you by its friendliness, cleanliness and more importantly it will serve you the best indian dishes miles around. unbeatable prices and take-away.

This is not your run of the mill Indian. The food is exceptional. It may seem a little bit more expensive than a standard Indian but the food is absolutely delicious. The lamb shank is our favourite. It would feed two easily.

Unfortunately in ten years we have failed to find a good indian sub continental takeaway in south east London. Cinamon hasn't failed to dissappoint.Too much oil in everything, over complex menu, bad bread.SE4, London needs an indian style takeaway with few very good dishes, cooked very well - whomever could do this would make a lot of money.

Love the cinnamon rolls. Although I find the big ones huge, the minibons are great! And 2 for 1£ is a great value :)
