Always great food, service and high standard of cleanliness. Returning with party of 11 for Christmas Dinner (not Christmas Day) and looking forward to it.

It is always a pleasure to go to Cinnebar, staff are lovely and friendly, always make an extra effort, food is always delicious, would highly recommend 😋

Just popped into cinnabar for a family breakfast. Never again! Food was unappetising, over cooked, small portions for the price and mediocre service. Would have had a better meal in a local cafe but we thought we'd treat ourselves, that was an £80 mistake

Visited for breakfast for my Son’s birthday and noted on the booking it was his birthday, they bought out a chocolate brownie and sang happy birthday, and also gave him a mimosa. Food and ambience was great as always ☺️

Went here to watch England in the Euro 24 Final and had a great evening (apart from the result). Everything was very well organised and well laid out for the football. The service was also excellent and the staff friendly and efficient.

Great Family brunch for four adults with a two year old. Warm welcome and friendly staff. High chair and drawing pad for the two year old. Cinebar breakfast was excellent. Two eggs ,sausages,bacon with toast tomato, mushroom , fritter and beans. Good range of drinks .

I’ve visited a few times before, but this is the first time I’ve provided feedback. It’s always been for breakfast, so that was a good veggie breakfast with coffee. The staff are really pleasant and helpful so I would recommend. Only negative is the parking near by so leave a few minutes to find a space.

We had a great time at the mamma mia brunch the food was hot and prompt and the drinks kept flowing, great service. Would recommend this.

Had my retirement party in a cornered off function area. Staff extremely accommodating. We have had a couple of functions there in the past. We opted for a set buffet, this was very substantial. Thank you for making this event memorable.

Dirty Dancing Bottomless Brunch - provided the perfect venue for my friends hen party. 18 ladies had a great time. The drinks flowed and were topped up regularly. The food came early and everyone received what they ordered. They provided a gluten free option for a lady with allergies. And alcoholic free drinks for a lady expecting. The atmosphere was great. We didn’t feel like we had to leave our tables as soon as brunch was finished. Everyone had a great time

The food was lovely, was there to celebrate my 16 year old son’s birthday. Booked a table of 6. Restaurant extremely quiet! Had been hoping for more atmosphere for a birthday. Food fabulous, everyone happy. However, ordered a ‘mocktail’ for my son as a treat for his birthday ( so absolutely no alcohol) and was told he couldn’t have one! I challenged this understanding licensing and was told, he could not be served a mocktail under 18. We wanted to raise a non alcohol toast with a special treat for him and was told no!! How can that be when there is zero alcohol and the law says anyone can enjoy these?

Mo was the best server I’ve had in such a long time. So friendly, funny and chatty. Really made our dining experience enjoyable. Would say the coffee here is the best in the area and the full English is great too. Thanks so much!

Super service from the lovely Danielle and Sam one welcome warm smile when we arrived had amazing tasty burgers couple of beers cup of Prosecco, and then a lovely cherry, baked pie and a cup of coffee. Not very memorable because it just tasted like what you would expect from a chain restaurant. The bubble and squeak did taste like roast left overs except the egg and bacon which is the idea of bubble and squeak. The eggs benedict lacked presentation with a fallen egg. In both dishes, the bacon was weird in terms of colour and texture unlike the moist pink ones at greasy spoons.

Really easy, comfortable and quietly efficient. The food was fresh and they were able to adapt the menu to taste.

Myself and my partner enjoyed the breakfast but did think it was slightly overpriced (£2.95 for a soda water for example). Food was pretty good, well presented and enjoyed it however the female waitress was rude throughout our visit.. slightly disappointing as it felt like we wasn't wanted for no apparent reason.

Thought I would try out cinnabar 1st time,I am very disappointed to say the least! Service was dismal, staff unattainable just chatting majority of the time! Although food was of a excellent standard, presented beautifully, but charged at an extortionate rate. For this location they need cheaper prices, larger seating areas and more staff that can do there jobs. Hats off to the chefs for the excellent food, the Only good part about my experience!

The restaurant was fairly busy so there was a nice atmosphere. The tables are laid out well so it doesn’t feel too packed. I went for breakfast and had the french toast with banana. For the price the size was pretty small, the bread wasn’t even a full slice.

Had a great visit with a couple of friends last night. After having our bookings cancelled in the morning due to the rain we turned up later in the day and were seated straight away and given blankets. The cocktails were amazing and the service was super quick! Tom the manager was so friendly, helpful and just lovely to chat to! Will definitely be back soon when the weather brightens up a bit!

Treated poorly drinks came out extremely slowly and was asked to leave just to be replaced by people who already sat in a different area. Extremely disappointing.

Came here for brunch.One of the servers was good- an older man, possibly a manger, the other, a young man, very badDisinterested, slow and just seemed like he didn’t want to be there.Was seated and then needed to get back up, find him and ask him for a drink.. Also needed to approach him for more drinks and eventually the bill.It was busy but not excessively so. The breakfast very average- when you go out you want to feel that you definitely couldn’t have don’t better at home. I definitely didn’t feel this.Won’t be returning for brunch

Eaten here several times and always been happy, went for dinner and we were so disappointed before we had finished eaten our plates were cleared away we had to ask the waiter to stop we were then given the bill while still eating and drinking and asked 4 times to pay , this was at 8.30pm even though the time stated to shut was 10pm. We were made to feel really uncomfortable like they wanted to clear us out as quick as possible, we definitely won’t return!

Absolutely love going for brunch at Cinnebar in Hitchin. Service is always really good and the staff are so helpful and friendly. The brunch menu is really good and the food is excellent. Definitely recommend. You can sit inside or outside.

Went here for brunch the week before lockdown and it was good, good service, good food, so we decided to returned recently and was awful, we literally got our glasses filled twice, and the menu had changed and the the food you was offered for the money you pay wasn’t worth it, if I said it was half a sandwich that wouldn’t be an exaggeration. All 5 of my friends felt the same we where all disappointed.As well as having to ask for our glasses to be topped up and the waiter almost disapproving!! Definitely was better service and value for money first time round.

it used to look quite run down and the cocktails were not great. I think now they have re-decorated and it looks better. The cocktails were really good. and they have a happy hour every day, including Saturdays which is a nice touch. For sure will be back soon.

The table was dirty. Our plates came out dirty and when my husband asked for clean plates the waitress just took them without saying a work. In fact the whole evening she didn't say one word to my husband which we both found very rude. The new plates that came out still not clean but by this stage we just eat of the staring plater! So we will not be coming back!

We had a larger party. They coped well with this and the food was very good. The room is very dark though.

I went to Cinnabar today for breakfast and it has really gone downhill. We were left waiting at the front of house before anyone came to help us. The staff generally seemed moody and unwelcoming and generally made us customers feel like a nuiscance. The waiter began to take our order and disappeared mid order and did not come back till we summoned him. He seemed to be in a hurry and missed part of our order because he was not giving us his attention. We asked for a smoothie and were given a tatty piece of paper with the names of the smoothies written on with no description or price. When the food arrived the sausages were uncooked and anemic looking, bacon overcooked and full of white blobs, eggs hard on bottom and runny on top. Overall not a good breakfast. No one came to ask us if everything was ok or if we wanted anything else. I would not reccomend this place. A smile and good customer service would have gone a long way. I feel that they are treating customers with contempt who are taking parting in the Eat out to help out scheme - I for one will not be returning.

I recently went to cinnabar for the £10 off government deal. The food was nice but the service was shocking. The girl serving us was miserable and stroppy, felt really uncomfortable asking for anything. I would recommend it though as the service is normally really good

Me and my friends wants to go out and chilax after the lockdown, we choose cinnabar. We were welcome by nice friendly staff, good quality food, nice drinks, on Thursday there is a special offer 2 for 1, and the bar was quite busy.

First time eating out since lockdown. Cinnabar have done a first class job at making everything seem as normal as possible and still managed to create a really good atmosphere whilst adhering you all the social distancing measures. Food was tasty , fresh and well presented . Service was excellent. Well done .

Because I am an idiot I accidentally Booked the Cinnabar in Hertford, not Stevenage. As this was my mum's birthday, I really could have messed this one up! Thankfully when we got there, the manager was so kind and sorted us a table immediately. This was above and beyond what I expected for a busy Sunday morning! Food was excellent as always and I'd highly recommend going any time of day for excellent portions and fantastic service. Thanks!

For our first visit to Cinnabar Stevenage, myself and a friend had a 3 course meal here on a weekday evening. Everything was delicious, portions were very good and couldn't fault the attentive and friendly service. I would definitely recommend this place to someone else.

Today we went for a lunch. There was an awesome server named Loraine there. She was so kind and helped us to have a great experience. We will definitely visit again.

I did my order by Uber eats, and I waited 30 min to take my 3 pizzas. That’s okay about this!The problem is when I take it 2 pizzas was barns and another one raw really white.I come in the restaurant with the pizzas and the guy told me “ I’m so sorry but the kitchen is close, and about refund you need to report on uber eats” he help me with my app to ask for refund, but I need to go in another place (Pizza Hut) and buy another pizza!This is ridiculous!!!

Went to cinnabar in stevenage on Christmas day. We were greeted by a lot of shouting and banging, thought there was a fight going on upstairs. Turned out to be the chef shouting at the staff. Prawn cocktail arrived prawns were nice but it lacked lettuce, sauce and bread. The mushroom soup was gloomy and so thick it resembled porridge. When the main meal arrived the gravy over the top of the meat was congealed and some of the veg was cold. The beef Wellington had a soggy bottom. The panna cottage arrived and was warm. No coffee and mince pies! Will not be risking this experience again. Seems a shame as previous years it was good. I strongly believe that they were trying to cater for too many people, the staff were pleasant under extreme circumstances.

We booked our work Xmas party at the Cinnabar for the 20th of December and I am pleased to say we had an awesome time. Once we were pointed to the right direction (Upstairs Party Room) We were welcomed by the Lovely "5 Star Lorraine" as I nicknamed her. Lorraine took care of us throughout the whole meal. We had prompt drinks service from all the staff and our meals came out promptly once we have the nod too. Food was nice. I tried the vegan pizza and didn't notice any difference to normal cheese pizza. The virgin mojito mocktail that I asked for made with lemonade instead of booze or apple juice was amazing. Yet again it was Lorraine who suggested they can do better than just coke for me and gave me the options with the barman. We were lucky to have had the Traditional Menu and Party Menu mixed in our booking. Poor chef :) we also had the expected crackers and added touch of mini selfie stick props (masks, hats, glasses etc) as we were mainly blokes from the IT Profession they weren't needed lolOnce the dining was done. We popped downstairs for the party/ bar area where the music was decent the clientele were decent-ish. Mixed with mature and young, no trouble makers. Music was house, garage and pop remixes. The older house and garage stuff was the best and the mature people knew the lyrics like the back of their hands. Me included. Bouncers inside were friendly and patient. Toilets weren't bad. The attendant in the men's was a legend too.As for Xmas party's I normally prefer just a sole food establishment but I was surprised that they were good with each aspect.Anyway Big Up Lorraine.

Unfortunately, there was a system error with my booking on Friday night so when I arrived it was absolutely heaving with a company takeover of the premises for their xmas meal/evening. Mo apologised for the mistake and was going to try and fit me in somewhere but I suggested my wife and I take it on the chin and go somewhere else. Mo then offered for us to come back in the morning for a free breakfast as a way of saying sorry/thank you which we were really chuffed with. We went back and had a fantastic meal and drinks (beer and a mimosa) which consisted of a large full english and eggs benedict which was delicious and filled us up! All in all, excellent customer service, excellent quality and excellent treatment when things went wrong - perfect :)Thanks again, Mo! We will 100% be returning for that dinner meal though...

We walked to the Old Town today and fancied a coffee, however when we went into Cinnabar, they're breakfast/brunch menu was too tempting. We had a lovely brunch at a reasonable price and then enjoyed the walk home. We haven't been disappointed here.

Cocktails and food was fab and served pretty swiftly after ordering. Great service from Mo, who happily changed items we'd ordered which were not satisfactory. Would've never of thought to go here to eat, but will definitely do again in the future :)

I visited with a friend for some of Cinnabar's cocktails and we decided to stay for the evening. The bar staff were very, very good, quick, knowledgeable, polite and genuinely a pleasure. The DJ was great, covering a lot of genres and was very enjoyable. Unfortunately, we noticed that the member of staff who was on the door in the evening was openly mocking some of the clientele which is very unfortunate, not particularly welcoming and a real disappointment compared to the rest of the team, who were nothing but excellent. Such a shame.

Food is always good and Mo is always friendly. Food was quick and warm as normal. Will come back again soon

Cinnabar is a very good spot to have a nice cafe ou lunch in Stevenage! Staff is super and you have lots of healthy but good options for lunch :) Venue design is nice and you even can access a little terrace.

Stevenage has lots of pubs but they’re all “sports” bars. The Cinnabar offers something different. Good atmosphere. Good service.

Hands down the best coffee in Stevenage, I come here almost every single day to get coffee or to have breakfast with my friends! The service here is always amazing and Mo looks after us every time! I always have oat milk and when it’s not here he has gone to the shop to buy it for me so I could still get my coffee. Number 1 service !! I recommend it to everyone and now all my friends come here as well!

This place is my first choice for breakfast/ brunch meetings, although booking a table is a must as it's always very busy especially on a Friday. The food is always superb and the service is friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is buzzy and wifi is excellent.

We had dinner one dark rainy evening and were given a warm welcome by the manager, who, together with a very nice Lady, could not have been more attentive and helpful. He adjusted one of the items on the menu to suit my requirements and the food was really lovely. We would definitely come back. The only thing wrong with this smart, nicely decorated restaurant was the state of the Ladies toilet doors, which had seemingly been kicked in at some point! Shocking behaviour by 'ladies' but apparently the venue is a night club in the evenings. Not that this excuses such behaviour! Not the staff's fault, just a sign of the times I guess.

Absolutely love coming into this place! I have been for both lunch and dinner and on all occasions Mo the waiter has been fantastic. He is a credit to the company!

Came here in a big group for brunch, and after making many amendments to the reservation, Mo and the entire team made sure we were well looked after. Well done the wait staff for putting up with the chaos, really appreciate all your hard work!

Started the night being greeted by under friendly and overly gymed security guards. £5 to get in is unnecessary, everywhere else is free. The atmosphere inside was dull and lifeless so my friends and I thought to go a check out other places. We were told we could get back in for free as we had already paid, we were told by 4 different security guards this, however as soon as we left we were told that we have to pay again. The security lied to our faces continuously and clearly just wanted to rip us off.

No matter whenever we come here, it’s fabulous! Super friendly, helpful staff, fantastic choice of delicious food - can’t praise it enough - brilliant!

The glass collector kept barging past no excuse me didn't matter where we were in the club she still pushed past me and my mate so so rude ruined the night for us.

Quite busy nice decor, staff friendly but a bit chaotic drinks took ages then some were forgotten then duplicate brought out which were on the house due to delay. However when bill came they were added on as was automatic tip which given service food took a while we declined to pay. we were then told table needed to be cleared by 10pm.

We always have the spaghetti Bolognese and it's always delicious. As a side I recommend the garlic bread with melted cheese and caramelised onion. Selling SanMiguel on tap just polishes it of for me. SteveBalstone

I have to be honest and say that I wouldn’t choose Cinnabar if somebody said “let’s go for a meal” - there are better places around from a food perspective. Having said that, it enjoys a great position in the High Street and is ideal for larger groups who want to chat, enjoy good cocktails and have more of an informal experience.

Came here for breakfast with my daughter who lives nearby. She said it does meals throughout the day and is a nightclub in the evening with great cocktails. The breakfast was lovely, service was efficient and friendly and the atmosphere was very good. It was busy, but I always take that as a good sign that its popular. I had an eggs benedict and the poached eggs were just right. Very nice indeed.
