Foood mazing service was personal and attentive. Location was let down due to shopping mall. Nonfault of restaurant as they were spot on. Highly recommended!!

27th March on my birthday. We had the most exquisite lunch. The food was perfection, recommend the Cardiff Sauce, divine. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Sang me happy birthday with dessert, panacotta. And a candle. And complimentary Vermacelli.

Very friendly staff and the pizzas were also very tasty. We'll be happy to come back next time we're in Cardiff.

Very lovely restaurant. Lovely staff, food was absolutely delicious and came really quick. I came here with my partner and his family and we had such a lovely time in here. We loved the staff the most as they were super polite and attentive.

Had a mouthwatering stake and pasta ! The food was delicious, despite on busy time the waiter found table for us very quickly! We made our order and it was delivered only in 10 min . The staff is very attentive and thoughtful. Well done Ciliegino you’ve got more regular customers!

Props to the chef. It was busy when we visited and he smashed it! Everyone on our table of 8 enjoyed what they had In terms of service, some improvements can be made. The main guy seemed to have a stick up his butt and one waitress who served us was really nice but made a few mistakes, one of which was forgetting to put my drink order through I didn't mind the mistake, these things happen, but she did forget to put through one of the starters and failed to put through one of the adjustments someone wanted on their meal (my partner wanted to add mushrooms to her pizza, didn't happen) When I asked the waiter in charge about my drink he got it, and instead of simply apologising, he said that it had not been ordered. I don't like this. I find it unprofessional. Service is not a blame game, you simply apologize to the customer and provide them with the thing they asked for, don't throw your team under the bus Overall we would definitely visit again, as the food was good. Many of us really enjoyed the pizza. The tiramisu was good too.

Ciliegino is a truly great restaurant! The food was fantastic! The fresh pasta was perfectly al dente and very tasty! The pizza was gorgeous with some delicious toppings. But my favourite thing was the tiramisu, absolutely delicious! We will return and can only recommend this place.

We recently visited here for lunch, and the food was incredible! We shared the Nduja & Honey Pizza, which was a great combination of sweet and spicy. The staff were super friendly and chatty! Couldn’t recommend more.

Everything’s too salty. I don’t understand why this place gets 4.5 rating - even Zizzi is much better. We almost left 1/3 of the dishes untouched because we simply cannot finish more while chugging down water.

This restaurant is full of amazing atmosphere, a unique experience, full of great servers. We got served by the manager who was lovely and made our experience even better with his humour. All the staff are so lovely and welcoming with a smile on there faces. Now on to the food, I could tell the pizza was made from fresh, it was full of flavour and the perfect size. The salad was lovely and crunchy with the sauce dressing over the chicken added so much flavour. This is our second time coming here and it just gets better and better.

Had a lovely dinner with family to celebrate my birthday. Staff were very kind and gave us complementary shots to celebrate the occasion. Their Strawberry cheesecake was the best I've had. Will come back again next time I visit Cardiff.

A lovely family run Italian restaurant located in the restaurant area in St David's Centre This is not a typical chain restaurant and is run by Tonino who is from Sicily and this is his only restaurant in the UK Tonino prides himself on only using the finest and freshest Italian ingredients which is reflected in the delicious meals served There is an extensive menu with several specials and daily deals all offering excellent value and the desserts are scrumptious and there is also a good selection of fine wines. Tonino is lovely friendly man as are all his staff who provide everybody with a warm and friendly welcome and great service and this is a great place to enjoy your meal maybe with a glass ( or bottle ) of fine win as the hustle and bustle of this busy area go by We are regular visitors to this restaurant and always enjoy the welcome and experience immensely We highly recommend it Jeff & Karen Revisited December 15th 2023 We haven't been here for a while but we certainly were not disappointed with our experience Our meals of Tender Chicken Strips and Calamari followed by Lasagne and Seafood Pasta and super creamy Tiramasu to finish of were quite simply delicious The staff are as warm and friendly as ever and create a lovely atmosphere We still love this place and cannot recommend it highly enough Jeff & Karen Haines

Went for a 21st Birthday celebration…food was delicious, hot & tasty. The Manager, Chef & Staff are all nice & friendly - even accommodated a request for something which was not on the menu - they took very good care of us & made us all feel specially treated - especially the Birthday girl bringing out a candle in her dessert & singing Happy Birthday - a really nice extra touch. We had a really great experience & would highly recommend! 10/10 & 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow what a find! Fancied some lunch and checked out all the usual offerings and found this Italian and boy did we strike gold. Best homemade pizza I've had outside Sicily, really fresh ingredients (could taste the basil) perfectly good and very tasty. Highly recommended for great traditional Sicilean food and great service

This place is outstanding. The staff were amazing and looked after us very well. The food we had was as amazing and very reasonably priced. The stand out item for me was the pizza and was the best I’ve had in a long while if not the best ever. Steak also cooked perfectly and as ordered. If your in town give this place a try I wished I’d found it earlier!

Recently left a three star review but went the other day and must say I had a way better experience this time. Staff were super friendly and food was amazing. Had a complimentary limoncello and my friends got a complimentary coffee which I must say was never offered in the past. Only thing I would have changed was I was talking for about two mins and a staff member came up and asked if I was done with my food but I wasn’t. I also wasn’t a massive fan of being asked multiple times how the food is… we’d provided an answer the first time but other than this great!!

From the moment we arrived & a staff member had to reorganise the restaurant so we could get a wheelchair through, to the moment we left, the service was absolutely spot-on; professional, efficient, & so friendly. The menu is fabulous, with plenty of choices. The staff were all really helpful, polite, & courteous. Had a really lovely evening & will be making a return visit. Highly recommend 👌

We found this great experience with 10 minutes until the kitchen closed and they accommodated 7 of us for my birthday meal. Food was excellent, staff and service were outstanding, they went above and beyond for us. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, will definitely be returning!

Worst place I’ve ever been, honestly. Pasta which is penne, tin of chopped tomatoes, packet of sliced chicken, entire jar of chilli flakes is not authentic Italian cuisine. Pizza which is so soggy that the cheese just slid off it “mozzarella does that” - no, it doesn’t. Waited 30 minutes for food, then was ignored by staff thereafter whilst they had their friends and family sit around chatting. Also £3/4 a spirit and you have to pay for a mixer on top of that amount making it nearly £9 for a JD and coke?! Absurd. Never again.

We first visited the restaurant on Tuesday afternoon and there was an offer on for a 2 course meal priced at £10.90 (drinks not included). We had a lovely waitress who helped us and we had a pleasant experience. The food was basic but for the £10.90 we were satisfied. We then decided to visit again on the Wednesday around the same time. The offer was not available and the waiter when asked about the offer the previous day replied “no it’s busy”. He was not friendly, did not smile once and had no enthusiasm. Compared to the experience we had the previous day this waiter did not present well. He looked like he didn’t want to be there. We were shocked in the difference in service from one day to the next. Your motto, “Creating a family experience, whatever race, colour or gender you’re” didn’t ring true for us yesterday.

All I can say is that this place is absolutely phenomenal , the staff are super amazing and their service is fast, also the food, pizzas are worthy of an award.

Best pizza in Wales apparently. Unfortunately we didn't get to try any because depsite there only being two tables of customers we were stood waiting to be seated for nearly 10 minutes. So we went to pizza express instead. Obviously don't need the custom in this place, despite being surrounded by three other well known pizza places

This is a great place to go. The staff where friendly and helpful. And the food was spot on for a reasonable price. Its not the most cosies place but its clean and comfortable, also perfect for ppl watching whilst waiting on your food😁 Groupon menu offers just the right amount of dishes to chose from. Highly recommend For a very fussy mother , she walked away very happy and content so Thank you for a lovely experience.

Despite them advertising the best pizzas they aren't. Zero Degrees are much better. Staff are great and service is great. Disappointed with the pizza. Zizzi is also better in my opinion.

Staff were absolutely brilliant. Food ok. They advertise as the best pizza in Cardiff. Not so. There are plenty of other places who do a better job. Try Zerodegrees or the Real Italian Pizza or Zizzi.

Great place for authentic Italian food. I enjoyed the complex taste of the truffle fries and the fresh parmesan cheese over the carbonara pasta. I had visited this place many times and the wood-fired pizza had a consistent quality. The kid’s menu and the colouring set for keeping the kids happy and busy are extra points for this place especially for families. Overall, the place has a great customer service and food, although one time only the parmesan taste was not fresh and this was during the lack down. Keep up the good works guys. Recommended 👍🏻
