Nice friendly cafe Had homemade soup and a sandwich which was delicious. Only gripe is I wish there was more of an option on sandwiches/toasties to go with the soup.

I have been dining her for some time, yesterday I was given food with mould on! This gave me nausea, I still had to pay for the food I sent back. Will not be returning!!!

Good breakfast except for the mushrooms and tomato, which were probably out of a tin. A lot of young staff who don’t always remember the orders.

Ordered two poached egg breakfasts and two coffees, breakfasts came twenty minutes later, both came wrong, had to wait another twenty five minutes, I ordered extra coffees as I wanted them with our breakfasts which I was charged for even tho they messed the order up! Poor service

Today has been super busy all ready so my mid morning coffee & cake were well deserved, even this early! I was in West Kirby on the Wirral & decided to pop into one of my local cafes - Cibo West Kirby, 90 Bank Street. As usual, the staff didn't disappoint with excellent prompt service and a welcoming smile. Today Amie served me. I had my usual carrot cake which is gluten free & today's choice of coffee was a latte. The cafe serves a wide variety of items so there is plenty of choice and they're very good with my allergies. (The choice of cake generally is amazing). The cafe is always clean, fresh & smells nice, oh and the toilet is regularly checked throughout the day to make sure it's spotless! If you are in West Kirby...try out Cibo! There is parking immediately outside and plenty down the side streets.

Had a lovely little brunch here. The staff are friendly, and the food is good. There was a mix up with both of our orders but no big deal as what we got was freshly cooked and tasty. The breakfast had perfectly crispy bacon, and really tasty spiced potatoes. Out of the three poached eggs we had (two eggs bene and one on the breakfast), two of them were overcooked. The sourdough toast was fantastic. This is a really nice place and we'll definitely be back. The cakes looked delicious but we were full! Must leave room next time.

The food was delicious and fresh and we didn’t wait long ! We ordered the breakfast - this was the tomato, mushrooms and poached eggs this was all really hot which displays that it was extremely fresh!! The staff are really welcoming and friendly this makes the whole experience worth while would definitely recommend and Would visit again

Visited today for Sunday lunch for the first time. Staff were very welcoming and smiley upon my arrival. Ordered the beef roast and WOW! Portions were massive, it was very hot and tasty. Had the lemon cake after for pud which was just as delicious. Will be back again soon definitely!

I just had home made soup leek an potato. It was lovely an not a small bowl with chose of bread or hot roll,others with me had sandwiches and pizza. Everything was great definitely going back.

We were very disappointed by both the service and the food. We waited about 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Ordered 2 toasties - which came as cold toast with cold fillings inside, so not traditional toasties. My husband ordered a simple breakfast - poached eggs, toast, mushroom and tomato which when ordering was told he couldn’t add beans (no idea why.) This thankfully did come hot but he had to call the waitress back and ask for condiments. My daughter ordered 1/3 cheese pizza which she enjoyed. Despite the food taking so long there were no apologies, no checking to see if we were happy with our food, whether we needed more drinks etc. We usually visit The Nook further down, they were full so we were hoping this would be a great alternative. Such a shame.

I never ever leave reviews, but am compelled by a disappointing visit today having a wee day out with my daughter, Ordered 2 paninis and a plate of chips. Waited 50 minutes plus for service, and had to chase them up. several tables were seated and served before us. When food arrived it was Ok, but the chips were underdone. My daughter didn't want me to point this out, so paid and left. Really underwhelmed.

The food was lovely however my pizza arrived without said jalapeños and it also didn’t include the basil that I paid an extra £1.25 for.

Ordered lunch for 2 of us, a soup and a pasta at 1150am last week. Told it would take 15 to 20 minutes. After 20 minutes we asked how much longer it would be. We were then told they had no white sauce for pasta, only tomato based sauces. It would take another 20 minutes. There were four staff on and it was only half full . We cancelled our order and left. Poor organisation and service.

Being gluten free with several food allergies means it is often difficult to eat out. These guys couldn’t have been more helpful…. A genuine personalised customer service. Adapted to meet my needs, attention to detail, genuine care and effort. Absolutely gorgeous salad which was well presented and again, showed care in preparation and amazing gluten free carrot cake !! Highly recommend this place and will definitely be on my ‘regulars’ list. Massive thanks to the whole team, it’s obvious how much you love your gorgeous place and care for your customers. Thanks for a lovely experience and see you again soon!!

Found this place whilst looking for somewhere I could sit outside and enjoy a coffee with my four legged friend. Coffee was great, cakes even better. Dog was welcomed. Not rushed to free up the table. Friendly staff, in fact so friendly I went back for lunch 2 days later and enjoyed a foccacia. They were very accommodating when I wanted to mix and match from 2 different meals. Great menu. Food was delicious.

Great dog friendly place with food allergy accommodations! Had a really nice vegan pizza slice and yummy strawberry tart. Great place to come for lunch with your dog.

Lovely little spot we visited today. Our server was super friendly, which really added to our visit. Oat milk cappuccino was superb as well as the food.

Very poor sandwich and even worst and tasteless panini. Waiting time for it exceeded 25 min. Not recommending.

Popped in a few days ago for breakfast upon the recommendation of my wife and I wasn’t disappointed. Very clean with very quick service (although not so quick that we felt rushed at all). I had the full English, which was delicious, and I can honestly say the sausages were the nicest I’ve had in a long time. No doubt we will be calling in again soon.

Italian in West Kirby ….What a fantastic establishment - spotless and friendly . The team are professional and attentive - nothing is too much trouble Special shout out to Collette & Kai .The pizzas are made whilst you wait and are delicious. Coffee is one on of the best around . Highly recommended

Found this beautiful venue by accident. What a gem, ultra clean, modern and welcoming. Great food, lovely ambiance, great service, and reasonably priced. Full breakfast was excellent, cooked perfect well, presented and delicious. I recommend.

Lovely coffee and lunch today at Cibo, West Kirby. Latte was good and hot. Lunch was the chicken and bacon Panini. A little different from what you get everywhere else being on tomato focaccia which was really nice, with plenty of filling and hot. Wish we'd had room for the delicious looking cakes on display. Definitely go back there again.

Visited for the third time recently but standards already falling dramatically. Poor service and food and menu substitution without explanation eg crusty bread rather than sourdough. Shame because nice decor and potential. Another establishment to cross off list as standards appear to be falling across the industry.

We popped in here for a bite to eat, not on a recommendation, but because it looked decent, nice decor, clean, blah blah. We only wanted coffee and a sandwich. How difficult is this? We sat down and ordered the coffee to begin with. I had ordered a latte, and was presented with a milky coffee with a huge amount of foam and no spoon. This is definitely not a latte.....but it is at Cibo Italiano. The waitress disappeared saying she'd bring a spoon....she never returned with aforementioned spoon, and I wasn't going to tempt fate and sit there with no drink, while they exchanged the cappuccino masquerading as a latte, given that it took a while initially anyway. I ended up stirring my coffee sugar with the back end of a fork. My dining companion had ordered a black Americano, no room for error there fortunately, and they managed to steer clear of adding milk. The place wasn't busy, there were perhaps four other tables and us. The panninis took a while, and we began to wonder if they had trotted off to Italy to get the food element of the order.....sadly, they hadn't. What eventually arrived in front of us, brought by a totally different member of staff, as the initial server seemed to have left, was as far removed from a panini as is possible (with a combination of water, yeast olive oil and flour). We were presented with sandwich ingredients stuck between, not a panini by any stretch of the imagination, but definitely wedges of dry, unpleasant, toasted, tomato focaccia. This was not my idea of a panini Caprese. There was no panini and the caprese was top heavy on mozzarella, not balanced. My companion fared no better, with similar dry toasted focaccia. Looking around at what was being consumed at other tables... The slices of limp pizza looked no better. This experience was overly priced with little change out of £20. My recommendation would be to go elsewhere. We had spied a hot sandwich place in a side street a little further down. We had been having the perfect day out until we decided on this place as we wanted to sit in. We should have opted for the hot butties under an umbrella in the rain sitting near the sea wall construction site.

Nice decor and really friendly staff.I had a great pasta dish and my young children had a pizza between them which they demolished. The chef even came out to check we enjoyed the food, and brought us biscuits for our dogs. We loved it and will definitely go again.

Popped in here because it looked nice and we love Italian food. So glad we did. Firstly, loveliest staff. All of them. They were very, very busy as lots of places were closed to Queen's funeral but did their absolute best to get everyone served as quickly as possible all the time being lovely to everyone. And the food..Wow! Absolutely to die for. Sandwiches and pizzas were so delicious and fresh. Literally melt in your mouth Foccacia bread that was so tasty. My daughter planned to have 'maybe a slice of pizza', then polished most of it off and said it was the best pizza she's ever had. I think I have a new favourite cafe.

We wanted to visit this place for the first time. The person who we believe could have been in charge directed us to a table. We waited for awhile when another couple arrived and sat at the table next to us. For some reason one of the staff immediately spent time explaining the menu and took their order, we were completely ignored. We waited again for awhile when we decided to leave. I did approach the person behind the counter to explain why we were leaving. There were at least 3 staff standing behind the counter chatting. There was no explanation why our order had not been taken.

Sells great Italian coffee in a variety of styles. In an okay location. Not too much foot fall but enough to be able to people watch. Very good selection of cakes. They also do pizza and pasta. Staff were friendly. Ability to sit outside under the classic glass awning. Toilets clean. Some free onstreet parking.

The owner obviously wants to appeal to a glamorous brunch crowd, so they were really rude to us when we came with kids and dismissive when we asked for a high chair as though we were insulting them. Food was ok but won’t be returning and not sure they’re going to survive if he isn’t more welcoming to the family market in west Kirby

Where do I start, blistering efficiency and excellent food. Came in the other day and was pleasantly greeted by the staff and took my order pronto. They were a couple lads in the back who were fantastic definitely got bright futures. Big tips coming in hard next time I can't wait for it.

Great place friendly staff good value

Today was my first time visiting Cibo. The staff are the kindest and most friendly people I have experienced in any restaurant in West Kirby. They allow dogs which just shows how great of a restaurant it is. The food was lovely and the desserts looked fantastic too. I would definitely recommend to anyone and will be paying another visit in the near future.

We postponed our walk due to the rain and dropped in here for coffee and cake. We ended up trying their breakfast as well. The staff were lovely and the owner was friendly and welcoming, we felt really at home. It has a fun and relaxed vibe, will definitely be returning.

Unprofessional, staff eating pizza behind the till with their fingers while making us coffee. Was bizarre. Gave it a second try 2 weeks later, walked in and the staff just looked at me blank when I asked to order, no greeting, felt off hand, so ended up walking out. Won’t give it a third go

The staff here were extremely helpful as we came on the first day of opening when there was no card machine available and they allowed us to go home and get cash instead. The cappuccino was excellent, strong and perfect for an italian-style coffee. The cake (we got an amaretto cake) was quite possibly the best cake I've ever eaten- perfectly sweet and light, but still an indulgent dessert. If you are in West Kirby looking for coffee or cake, this is where you need to come. My only concern is that it will become too popular!

It was coffee, hot chocolate and a slice of cheesecake in this cafe opened at 4ish. down Banks Rd. in West Kirby. Most shops we passed through where already closed and just as we were resigned to no hot drinks, we spotted this place. I loved our orders and drinks but especially the charming young servers. We got to chat to the cafe owner and he said he had just opened a few days ago and will open longer hours. I can say I did enjoy the whole experience I’ve had there and hope to drop by again some time.
