Choices Bar Chinese Takeaway in Wirral

Dropping a star, only because you can only pay cash. It's a good chippy. Only my first visit so not easy to give the best opinion on all the food. We had fish and chips (haddock only). It was cooked great, not greasy. I would visit again. There Menu is available online.

Food excellent in every way staff really nice have a laugh with them nothing is to much trouble if you can give them more than five stars I would well worth trying it out BRILL

I used to love chips gravy and a sausage from choices but today was absolutely disgusting I won’t be buying from here again I would say the delivery was fast but but the food was probably reheated I’m guessing it is new ownership?

Tried here a couple of times but tonight was worse by far, chicken fried rice tasted slightly burnt & no flavour, chips burnt warm ups between rotten chips so hole portion basically inedible, bbq cold and not very nice and to finishing prawn crackers stale , won't be going again and staff not very friendly either

Beware yesterday's chips , threw half of them away due to rot , very disappointing

Got the salt and pepper shredded chicken and it was bizarre. Very hard to explain. Clearly their own take on it but a very bad one. Just tasted burnt. Chips stank of like burnt smoky oil. Delivery was very quick and driver was very friendly.

Amazing food, amazing people, Mikes amazing cakes.

Nothing special except their Prices. Very high. I'll be looking elsewhere on the Wirral.

It's not the cheapest, but it's amazing generous portions are good..the quality is excellent and Mike's brownies are to die for..

Nice friendly chippy and takeaway Staff all ace and selection wide. Gets mad busy too so u know it must be good. Chicken fried rice is bang on tasty

Best takeaway around. Staff are wonderful & helpful (especially the gorgeous Michael), the food is amazing and the size of the portions are better than anywhere else. I highly recommend this place 🙌

Great little chippy on Duke Street Birkenhead. I've not been to a better one in wirral.( wont go anywhere else ) Friendly staff, the atmosphere was okay gets very busy but worth the wait. Me n my partner both enjoyed our tea n will 100% be going again this week.. 👍

First and last time i will go here food shocking arrived cold orderd curry half rice chips and rice and chips in plastic container with about 5 chips squashed on top of rice, portion of seperate chips over cooked but cold and hardly any chips definitly not a portion!! chicken cold in curry too not worth money spent on it if you want quality food do not go here food shocking!!!!

After using choices for the past 8 years I find the quality of both the food and service is reaching rock bottom. The staff are ignorant and the food sub par. I won't be using their services again

Very large portions, delicious Asian cuisine (I recommend the special chow mein) and freshly fried fish and chips. Worth a visit! Please note that payment is by cash only.

Was the worst meal we have ever had there we used to love it here but tonight it was terrible everything we ordered was so bland the vermicelli had no spice it was just warmed noodles and the Cantonese there was no flavour aswell so disappointed totally put me off ordering again from very disappointed

Everything was luke warm. Usually barbecue sauce is piping hot as is everything else. Phoned up twice to see where driver was and when he turned up the food was luke warm, I'm literally 10 min drive away. Driver need told!!

Donner kebab was quite smaller than usual today.a bit disapointed. Was half the size.and i left a 50p tip.lots of onion as always(requested) but this time would seem my request for extra onion was compensated for by less meat. have been a loyal customer for years

This is the only Chippy we go to, it's by far the best around here. Food always truens up hot and fresh. Never been let down by these guys.

This place is always 5 star for its amazing food and service. But during all the lockdown, my other fave takeaways have gone downhill and it’s understandable because everything is not the same at the min. Yet choices had reopened for deliveries and have carried on their amazing service and it was refreshing to have quality food. Defo the best takeaway on the Wirral.

There take away shop is the cleanest shop ive ever seen, the hygienic rate i would give it is 10 out of 10, ive been going there for many years, ive had all types of meals from them, and i could not fault any of them, the staff are polite and very friendly, and also very professional at there work, they will always get my custom. Waited over an hour for meal had to phone twice when the man came it did not come in a bag which keeps food warm just a bag the meal was wrapped up in little plastic bag The money their making a joke.

Real shame that I have to only give one star have ordered from a lot over years but the last few times the chips are awful and meals not much better.

Great family run Chinese takeaway. Good choice of Chinese meals which you can see being freshly cooked in the elevated kitchen behind the counter, always taste great. You can also get all your normal chip shop meals.

We go every Thursday when on nights in work staff are very helpfull and pleasant and food is always really good can't say we've ever had one bad meal foods always spot on

Lovely food but really need some form of online ordering through their website. Servers over the phone are always consistently rude and talk down to you. One time they tried to charge us extra for asking the driver to ring us when they were outside, when challenged they backed down as if they never asked for it.

Best place to get food by far. Even better when the staff are boss. Oh and what took you so long mike!!!! Ps rose is the best.

Best takeaway in the area...great choice of food at reasonable prices. Food is tasty, always hot and prompt. staff are welcoming and pleasant on the eye what more can one ask for. Next time I'm in the area I will paying them another visit.

The little delivery driver with the beard is so funny and sound, the others aren't great and Mike & Rose is ok I suppose. And then there's the other weird guy.. Paul or something. Food is really nice though. Best on the wirral

Usually I am 100% satisfied with meals from here, we order every week however on 2occasions now they have misheard our telephone order and not sent my partner's meal saying we sent what you ordered we are regular customers and I'm not pleased with this

Over cooked chips burnt, rice stodgy + chicken had a strange taste to it.

Use this place on a weekly basis, mostly get fish and chips, batter on fish generally crispy, fish (Cod) always a good size nice and white and flakey. We've also had many Chinese meals from here, always been of a good standard.
