Chutney Express in Enfield

Won’t be ordering again. Awful food. Raw onions and chewy lamb. The ingredients tasted stale and reheated. Had to throw it away.

Después de mudarnos a la zona, decidimos probar esta comida para llevar y nos enamoramos. La comida es increíble, siempre caliente y deliciosa. Disfrutamos de esta comida todo el tiempo. Un día, mi compañero entró a recoger la comida, también fue a la cocina y vio que estaba impecablemente limpia y reluciente. ¡Saber que este establecimiento es muy limpio y sabroso lo ha convertido en nuestro lugar para llevar!

A veces, y el sabor es tan bueno como el estándar local, la cantidad es otra cuestión. lo que ha llevado al lugar hacia abajo, el plato de langostinos probablemente tenía alrededor de 5 medias gambas y bastante caro, he tenido más langostinos en otros lugares, así que deja de ser tan tacaño y duplica la cantidad de langostinos completos al menos menciona en la descripción cuántos habrá, el pollo Tandoori, una vez que no hay suficientes piezas, llenas de tomates y verduras grandes cortadas, venga a poner algunas piezas más. Sobre todo lo demás, la entrega oportuna, la cantidad de alimentos no es proporcional al precio, la calidad es tan buena como cualquier otra persona en el área, por lo que mucha competencia por lo que estos muchachos necesitan despertar y mejorar tu juego

Peor experiencia todavía! ! Pedí comida para llevar a través de Uber y pedí que la comida fuera auténtica al estilo indio. Recibí un poco menos de los contenedores medio llenos y cuando llamé para quejarme, el gerente respondió la razón de la muy pequeña poción de mi comida, es decir. El cordero Bhuna (auténticamente cordero en salsa seca) se debía a que, por lo general, regaban el agua para los clientes en general, pero como queríamos la correcta, recibíamos pociones mucho más pequeñas y, si no estamos contentos, ¡no necesitamos volver a ordenar! ! ! El problema aún más grande era que la comida también estaba muy mal cocinada con una cantidad espantosa de especias, incluso los popadoms eran masticables. No recibí ninguna ensalada o salsas en absoluto tampoco! ! ! ¡NUNCA MÁS! ! ! ! ! ?????

El mejor curry indio que he probado en mucho tiempo, excelente servicio, personal amable y excelentes precios. ! Sin duda volveremos y lo recomendaríamos a todo el mundo.

Didn't happen to have my camera with me so cannot show what it was like. Words can however and our party really enjoyed curries with a differnce. Bright restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. This has become our place of choice to go on Xmas Eve. Bring your own alcoholic drinks too.

Delicious! First time order from here and the food was excellent. Some unusual dishes that you don't get at other takeaways. All the dishes we ordered were delicious and Chutney Express is now my favourite Indian takeaway and we will definitely be ordering from here again.

Restaurant called me to say that they will charge me for requesting extra mint sauce considering I spent £25.22. I will consider next time where I order from

Chicken tikka both in the curry and as a starter was cooked so well it was succulent , so delicious. I cannot fault the meal at all. The tikka had a wondeful kick to it and the mint sauce complimented it well . Will order again !

All Star Rating! don't normally leave a review but felt this warranted one. I'm always wary about ordering Indian food but the food tasted good, everything looked authentic and good portion sizes. Only criticism I have is that the food arrived early and I tend to order food on my way home from work so I don't have to wait. Would definitely order again 👍🏼

my salad side salad was tiny. I had 1 cherry tomato chopped into half! hopefully the manager will fix this because salad is quite cheap.

Mixed review as having ordered quite a few dishes some were good and some weren't. First the positive- the Karahi Lamb was great, flavoursome with tender meat. The Tarka Dhaal equally authentic and good. The Bombay aloo was good, but would have preferred the potatoes cubed rather than 6 large potato wedges. However the flavour was good. The Bad - The rice was dry, brittle and tasted somewhat old/undercooked. The Jeera Chicken was a huge shame as I expect good flavours of cumin (jeera) and the authenticity of Jeera curry. Far from it the chicken was a weaker tasting almost foam like often used by cheap Chinese takeaways, but above all it had zero flavour. Clearly a tomato sauce was mocked up and a few jeera seeds thrown in to show it was supposed to be the dish ordered. All in all the food could and should have been better - Especially on Eid. It wasn't really bad, much room for improvement . (I'm Asian so know what I'm talking about) The delivery was good and in time with a friendly driver.

I was delivered some of my food. then I had to ring the restaurant to then be told that when the driver gets back he will then send him out again with the remainder. I then said that the rest of my dinner would be cold by then. he didn't really seem to care

I've been using this curry house for a few years now and it's still my favourite. The menu has changed a little but the quality is always excellent, the staff always friendly and while that's the case, I'll carry on ordering.

I use just eat a lot and have ordered from 5 different Indians restaurants and this was the BEST! i asked for a special request and they followed it. the food came 45 min early. the food was delicious couldn't recommended it anymore! will ONLY be ordering from here again. loved it.

I placed the order at 10.45pm got a message at 11pm saying the food is on his way but I received the food at 11.45pm.the restaurant is just 3miles away.called the restaurant about ten times but no answer at all.will be not ordering again

I have always ordered from chutney express but the order I made on 05/04/17 it was below average I was not impressed one bit food was very bland not the usual experience. I will think again before ordering.

Food is currently 40 minutes late, I ordered around 8.30pm it's now 10.20 pm. App says it has been delivered, I can't get through to restaurant as constantly engaged so have no idea if it will even turn up? Not good service at all, will not bother next time!

Food was 40 mins late. The Rice tasted like it was cooked hours before i was told the drink was complementary because of the poor service but I've still been charged for it .

If you don't live within their delivery range, you should seriously consider moving house. They're that good. :)

Ordered food at 6.40pm received at 8.20pm half an hour later than the delivery time promised! Food was ok, however they forgot one of our naan breads. They did offer to resend however I declined. Did not want to wait for long delivery time !
