Churchill’s Fish & Chips Aston Sheffield in Rotherham

Absolutely awful only wrapped my food once by the time I was home the paper was wet through and ripped to shreds, they tell you a price then don’t give you the correct change so make sure your checking! Also try charging you per item even though things come as a meal and is stated on the board!

Great fish and chips, I had a regular portion of chips and a Haddock. I prefer Haddock to Cod. A decent amount of chips. I had it delivered, delivery guy is nice and friendly. I always get my fish and chips from here if I get them delivered.

Actually can’t give it any stars,half hour late,food was really cold,batter on the sausage was like rubber thats how cold it was,ordered large but got child portions,curry sauce hardly covered 6 chips,only thing that benefited from it was the bin,total waste of £15,never again.They obviously don’t read these reviews,wish ihad before I ordered!!!

most blokes and gals out there will know what I'm talking about when we say we love eating steaming hot pie weather, it's chicken and mushroom, mince and onion, or even the legend the pork pie that being said I would be understood for being keen for my order to arrive from churchills. Id ordered chicken and mushroom pie a mince beef and onion pie regular chips and a small mushy peas. I quickly found the need to contact a better supplier for the pies. It seems almost ironic, selling less the half filled, deep filled pies that were concerning in the sense that they both tasted the same. Not very nice pies at all. That being said, the mushy peas were very pleasant. I've had the mini fish and chips from there before, and they are nice.

Fish was lovely but the chips were smothered in mushy peas and fish put on top. Sorry but i wasn’t expecting to eat soggy chips merged with hard peas… put the peas in the corner or in a cup . Fully ruined my tea 😂

Ordered tonight. Never been so disappointed. Ordered regular chips, large haddock, beans and coleslaw and 2 cans of pop The amount of chips received is disgraceful. Was more like a kids portion of chips. Picture is box of cod and the "regular chips" more like a meal for 1. All cost £16+

Went in and orderd and they got the order wrong so went back in and they got in wrong again and tried asking for a refund of 7.50 and the just chucked 2.50 and lost the 50p and we tried asking for another 50p and didn’t give it to us so rude will never go again

I'd give it 0 stars if I could. Food is awful. Fish is soggy and I noticed the end of my fish had been cut off to make it smaller. The staff are rude and always on there phone, they don't make it a very welcoming when you enter the shop. I have noticed it has gone down hill ever since the blonde women has left. I will not be returning I'd rather eat food out of a bin. God help that place. Ew

I ordered a large cod and chips. I was assuming that it would be packed. I received the food. There were about 15 chips. I feel I should have paid £2 for what I got. Very disappointed. I have a picture of what I received as well.

One of the staff had her kids playing out front throwing snowballs at cars and customers. Police were called on both the children and the establishment. Won't be returning, learn to control your kids and don't take them to work! Edit, police are in possession of camera footage from car due to damage to property. I hope the worker is happy that her kid Max will be contacted soon. Second edit since they've tried to deny everything, it was definitely one of your staffs kids outside as she went out to see what he was doing, police incident number has been received and they are still reviewing.

Just ordered for myself a large Haddock for £8 and chips and cheese for a friend. I had assumed my item came with chips as £8 alone is extortionate for a Fish on its own. The Fish itself barely had any fish in it and I fully regret ordering this. What a waste of money, very disappointment. The Chips and Cheese aren't great neither.

I went into Churchill's about 20 minutes ago. (20:15 - 20:30, Saturday 11 December.) No other customers in the shop. 2 staff behind the counter walked in to the back. I managed to make eye contact with a third member of staff, who immediately looked away from me. I then said, "I can see that you've got better things to do with your time than serving customers. Goodbye." I don't know if that's a typical example of their service, but I won't be going back to find out.

Ordered LARGE cod. It was a joke. More like a kiddies portion. I was going to complain, but what's the point they knew what they were delivering. Instead I'm voting with my feet.

Had takeaway delivered from Churchill. The delivery man was very polite and courteous, food arrived hot, on time and was delicious. Yoyo delivery was a bonus.

Blooming ek - just had 1 portion of Haddock chips and Peas - 1 small Fish chips and peas and 12 pcs Scampi and salad (not all mine) tell u what absolutely beautiful. 5 stars from me and next week a cert. Thank you

Thought we'd give them the benefit of doubt after having cold pies in the past. Just had the coldest chips ever, coudn't eat them. I thought food establishments had to use thermometers? Won't be back, all other local chippies had queues today, wonder why this one didn't🤔
