We just popped in by chance as we hadn't been for a while. We had a beautiful scone and coffee. We were fortunate that the owners grandaughter, Emily Fern was home as she sang for over an hour. She has a beautiful voice and I can see why she's a big hit on the cruise ships.

One of our friends told us about these premises so we decided to visit it. And it was great. We sit in the garden - COVID rules were kept. Shortly after one of the staff came and told us about their offers. We choose coffee/tea, cake and salmon sandwich. Everything was very tasty. The owners has miniature black poodle 13 years old which came to us and is adorable. During our visit we saw many people came just to pick something or having ice cream so it seems to be popular place in the village. We definitely will come again.

This is a lovely room, set in tranquil and beautiful setting. The family that owned it were lovely and did whatever they could for us. The log fire was fantasic to sit next to as we ate a meal that competed with the 5 star buxton crescent we were at the night before. Breakfast in the morning was equally as good, the chef made me poached, scrambled and fried eggs (my request) all perfect. We felt well looked after and valued as customers. The decor/atmosphere in the pub was the only thing I thought could be improved but nothing that will prevent us from coming back again!

Cafe and small motorcycle museum in one. A bit hidden away, but if you're a motorcycling buff, it's worth hunting it out. Admission free, it's part museum and part shop as it seems everything is for sale. The bikes are in concourse condition, thanks to the enthusiastic couple who now own the place. The cafe does an excellent breakfast, along with cakes and other edible treats. There is no car park and on street parking is limited, but the street wasn't busy the day we were there. I'd certainly revisit.
