Chunky Chicken in Erewash

Had an incredible experience on my first visit. Both Rudi and Mihela assisted with such great smiles and service as I’m usually incredibly indecisive with my order. They and the cooks should be treat as absolute assets to the company. 100% coming back.

I like chunky chicken, big chunks but although it says open online it isn't and don't answer phone. Tried to order online got refunded. Any clues anyone ?

Chicken pieces were incredible, was almost worth the 90 minute wait for the chicken, which by the time i ate it, could no longer be classed as fast food as much as it can be considered comfort food as i sure was pissed off when it arrived. Would i order from here again? Definitely, would i order it again if i was hungry now and not in 2 hours? Definitely not.

Never again. Ordered twice now on uber eats. Each time the food has turned up over an hour late and cold ( cheese even solidified on the pizza this time). First time I was lied to by the driver and then thr store, this time the store number didn't even work to chase up the delivery.

Don’t order from this place. They get lazy and don’t deliver the food, lie that they tried and tried calling when they didn’t. Refuse to answer the phone to sort it

Ordered donner meat and chips to crown plaza only to find it covered in sauce and salad something me and my partner doesn’t like waste of money went straight in the bin didn’t specify that it came with any kind of salad

After visiting chunky chicken for some food after our night out, we were made to wait for around 45minutes, to say we were disappointed when we were told to leave after waiting for this duration is an understatement. Our order which came to around £30 was obviously not received which we are extremely disappointed about. The poor lack of customer service was exceptionally disappointing and represented to me exactly what I did not want to see within Chunky Chicken. To summarise I expect a lot more from a ‘POPULAR’ fast food restaurant with such a strong customer base. Over all a 1/5 on the rating due to pure disappointment.

We ordered food and it took up to 1 hour for the food to even been given. People repeatedly came in afterwords and we’re getting food before us and after complaining told us that we are stupid and that we can’t do anything due to management not being in till Monday. Worst place I have ever ordered from will never go there again. I advise you not to purchase food from this shop due to rude staff.

If you're looking for budget fried chicken death then this is the place for you. One visit should be enough. If you come back it's probably because you were drunk the first time and can't remember it.

Considering the area is packed with fast food outlets it can be difficult to stand out. Here the food is fresh and really tasty. Gets you wondering what’s the secret ingredient in the chicken. The service is quick and efficient. No hassle which is what you want.

Took my friend here for the first time and we both really enjoyed the food. The peri chicken burger meal was great, the price is good but more importantly the quality of the food was fresh. Will definitely recommend. Keep up the good work guys.

I ordered food for delivery last night but they sent me poor and wrong food . I tried to call them but they cut the phone multiple time and were being very disrespectful and rude. Food was bad quality and customer service was horrendous, I have ordered couple of times before this. I won’t be ordering from chunky chicken again. Peri Peri full chicken much better than expected at £9:50. The chef offered mild to spicy and we went for Spicy, and he lived up to the challenge.

I brought a 1/4 pounder and specifically asked no tomatos instead i got a burnt 1/4 pounder with tonatos and the chips tasted likw the oils hadent been changed in 10 years plus the man behind the till seemed like he owned the business with his shirt ans trousers gave the worst customer service ever legit had me confused through the order never coming here again !! Lucky i took it away and didnt eat in otherwise id be having strong words

Been here a number of times and the food has always been tasty. So far never been disappointed. Would recommend this place.

Me dieron 2 tomates cherry cortados por la mitad alrededor de 4 pepino muy finas, lo pondré de esta manera reducir el una cerilla en tres piezas que pequeño y delgado el pepino ERA QUE ME, 6 croutons tiró. Y un montón de coles. púrpura. . Yo estaba totalmente conmocionado. ME GUSTA Dónde diablos está el pepino, tomates lechuga? ? ? Pedí una ensalada de pollo peri no un bloody pollo colesaw. . Visité alrededor de las 11 de la noche un jueves por la noche; había unas 10 personas comiendo y sentado en una pequeña cola de unas 6 personas. Fui atendida rápidamente pero no avise de cualquier larga espera por la comida. Tardaron más de 20 minutos. Para ser justos, me dijeron para ir y sentarse y me lo trae. Yo casi aplanados por batería de teléfono en FB mientras esperando tanto tiempo!

Great place for good value chicken. Chicken shops are dime a dozen but the this is different. The food is top grub, affordable, tasty and also the staff are really helpful. Good varied options on the menu.

This was my first time trying a beef burger, and I will be sticking to the chicken in future. The grease from thr burger had soaked into both parts of the bun, leaving a slimy overall meal. However, the fries were fantastic (as usual)!

Food is delivered late so enjoy it cold ... I was not going to review but it's my second order I placed order at 6 and it 7 11 no food and I called them at 6 50 they said will be there in 10 min so let's see

25 min late, make it 35 with 10 min added by restaurant on the beggining. Food come barely warm. Actualy I made mistake by choosing this restaurant.

Took nearly two hours to arrive. Before I ordered it gave me an estimate delivery time, as soon as I ordered I got a notification saying they had added 35/40 minutes on to my delivery time. If I knew this I wouldn't have ordered but I had already paid by card. Food was standard but wouldn't order again

The food was excellent for price, in good condition when received and delivery was prompt minus the driver getting a bit lost - so we walked and collected it from a few streets away.

always give me super dry chicken breast pieces unless I requested otherwise, but they don't read the notes!!! it could be dangerous for customers when you don't read the notes. It's lucky that I simply didn't want dried chicken instead of having medical conditions.

The driver was nice but the time of delivering the order took more than an hour and half and the food was not that good any way the service was so bad. I am not happy

40 minutes after our order being placed (5 minutes before the estimated delivery time) we received a phone call asking if we could pay on card over the phone. We only had cash available. Upon declining we were told that due to paying in cash our order would be over an hour. I asked if we paid card would the order be quicker in which we were told yes this would be the case. This is absolutely disgusting that our payment method has affected the delivery time. The girl over the phone had no explanation as to why this was the case and was repeating what I was saying to another member off staff throughout the conversation. Extremely poor customer service and I will not be ordering from this food establishment again.

Delicious food, moist succulent chicken and the burgers are always great. Unfortunately they forgot to deliver part of the meal but they rushed back out when called and even provided a complimentary chicken burger by way of apology. Great stuff

Such a good experience, food wasn't greasy and filled me up. Chicken was such a good size, chips were a good portion size. The chicken bucket is a good price for what you get. Delivery only 5 minutes after expected delivery, but very quick. Easy to order and lots of choice.

Wow! Chicken platter with rice was delish! Dare I say better than Nandos! The salad was fresh and crisp with red onion which is great for salads unlike most other places where you get the harsh white onion. Also ordered the hot wings.. Slightly on the salty side but loved the crispiness. Will defo be ordering again.
