Great service from Zuzanna, Beth and Zara. hot honey needs to be hotter though.

40 minute wait for food, though drinks served quickly. Why is apple cider only available at Eastbourne venue? Very over cooked and black in places pattie, chewy and hard. A smear of sauce and mayo, tiny amount of diced onion. Not a pleasant meal will not go there again. No chicken burger without Korean sauce, why no alternative. Waiting staff pleasant and helpful but nothing else to recommend spending £40 on two burgers, 2 lagers and 1 lot of fries.

Ordered before and it was lovely so we decided to go back, but this time it was not what we were expecting and very sad about this. We won't be ordering from here again

The blonde manager was so rude!!! She poked my food just to find something that is not there then she went out with her click of friends who were servers and left only one staff member on the floor. Felt sorry for that girl who did everything by herself while the Blonde manager went to the back with her blonde friends. So unprofessional. That blonde manager should train on customer service. Poor behaviour and poor management. She should learn to treat everyone with respect, customers and staff alike.

Walked in and was seated straight away. Very quick and polite service! Team were lovely and food was incredible as always. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I don't normally do reviews but the meal I just had was special. Burgers were amazing, chicken tenders were sublime. Delivery was super quick. I cannot fault this place at all. Really nice little touches with the sweets as well.

Fathers Day treat, and to find out that fathers get their meal free was a very nice touch from them. First time visiting and I've gotta say I'd happily come back, my 5 year old daughter enjoyed colouring and the 007 shake was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Man vs Food style eating! A range of huge, buildable burgers and great sides. A good deal for £35 if you want to try (or share like us!) a bit of lots of different things. We loved the Korean chicken tenders and the actual beef patties were great. (They even have an eating challenge for this deal Mondays!) The loaded fries weren't a hit- they were cold from all the sauce and overall we found them and the dipping burger really salty. Kid portions were decent and the staff are so friendly and helpful!

First off let’s talk about the lovely Emma. She was absolutely amazing, customer service was 10/10 she was very chatty and also gave us little bites to try on the upcoming menu. Which was very nice of her, She was very friendly down to earth and listened to my idea of a protein meat platter for us boys that like to lift weights drink shakes and eat tons of meat :D Food was great and on time. No issues had with our food and everything came out piping hot and nothing needed changing.. Would be great to see some sausages on the menu and in fact also added to the new protein platter that your going to launch ;) Always loved the food and service you guys provided and emma made sure your customers service went above and beyond we even got cheeky free milkshake to taste and leave our review so here goes She asked for the biscoff and said it was banging and had loads of bits in it lol these were her words I got the oreo milkshake and it didnt fail to deliver also didnt bloat me out or make me feel sick after devouring our meals. Will be recommending these shakes moving forward..defo ask on instagram for new and exciting ideas for shakes off your customers :D Kirk& tiegan

Had a takeaway from chuck and blade Rochester. Can easily say it is the best burgers we have ever had and the sticky fingers are amazing! All the staff are so kind and friendly and Emma is a wonderful manager who helped me decide on what to have for myself (I’m very fussy) keep up the amazing work guys thank you:)

We ordered the sharer tray, which was good value for two people. The chicken was very succulent and the halloumi was lovely. I was astounded by the amount of sauce on the loaded fries. I think someone may have gotten a little carried away whilst putting the sauce on them 🤔 The staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere.

First time eating here, the restaurant itself was fine, the service was cool and the milkshake was good but unfortunately the main attraction, the burgers (both the cluck norris chicken and big dipper beef) were very blah, very bland. Ate a burger with no flavour which is a shame, The truffle fries were not great either. So so disappointed about the burgers.

Myself and my pal went for something to eat, ordered with our waitress, 2 for Tuesday, everything sweet. Some busy body of a waitress who had nothing to do with our table, OR our order, sticks her nose in and comes over and tells us, the 2 free ones can't be taken with us, as the offer only applies to eat in, to which we said, the other waitress said it was fine and she'd sort it out, so off this one goes making herself busy again, off to stir things up. After we saw the waitress that was really helpful and originally took our order being bothered by the busy waitress in the kitchen, we called her over and said we didn't want to cause her any trouble, to which she told us she can't believe how much drama there's been surrounding this order, she WAS in fact mistaken and it wasn't 2 for Tuesday unless we ate the lot in. So we just cancelled them, paid our bill and left. The waitress that served us was lovely, and clearly just trying to help us out, but the larger, busy body waitress just seemed hell bent on not only micromanaging the poor girl, but also pointing out what happened to anyone who would listen. Looked a lot like workplace bullying to me.

Burger was delicious and the portion sizes are pretty good. Value for money. The waitress, Millie was very polite and helped us with our order when we couldn’t decide what to get.

Top burger place- had the fiery fagan burger with a biscoff shake. DELICIOUS! Shout out to our server Millie- super helpful with the recommendations. Will definitely be coming back :-)

My wife and I decided to check this place out for a date and boy were we happy! We went for the sharing deal they have and got a couple of burgers, fries, halloumi fries, chicken tenders and a shake. All the food was lovely and the shake was awesome. All told after including a couple of drinks and tip we spent £40 and it was well spent!

I’ve eaten a couple times here now and I couldn’t not recommend the food/service anymore! We’ve come quite fond of Millie Gardener who works front of house as every time we have gone for food not only has she been extremely professional but also very humerus! Will definitely not be the last time I’ll be eating here!

I visited the restaurant on Sweep Sunday 2024 with 4 others. It was our first time and was very impressed with the restaurant and our food. Our waitress Megan was very good and helpful especially one of our party was inquisitive, Megan was a very good sport and answered all his questions with good humour.

Popped in for a bite to eat during the sweep’s festival on Sunday, meal was great , the service from Megan was excellent, always smiling

Absolutely rubbish! thought I'd try this place after hearing good things about it. Took hour and half to get here (ok it's Friday, fair enough. Probably busy, I don't mind the wait thinking the food will be worth it Nope!! Burger: was dry as an old flip flop! also looked like someone stood on it before sticking it in the box half of the patty was hanging out the burger like it was escaping to get some water it was that dry. Chicken Tenders: £5 for 3 teeny tiny tenders with a drop of sauce and bits of chilli on it, 2 were over cooked and like nawing on a dog chew. BUT....1 seems to have made it out alive and tasted ok but it was literally one bite.. should be called extra mini chicken tenders. I normally get burger from Burger King to be honest I thought let's try a proper burger place like C&B. What a mistake that was!! Do yourself a favour and don't order burgers from here if you're a burger fan order for from BK or date I said McDonald's. least you know what you're getting and for half the price. Chuck and Blade is way overrated!!

This restaurant is amazing - a hidden treasure in Rochester High Street! Drinks came out within 2 minutes, food followed by about 10-15 minutes later. Food was well worth it for the price. I'd certainly recommend the Oreo Milkshake, Cluck Norris and Poutine.

Amazing food and service however my husband had tummy issues all night after his burger! 😢 nothing else could have caused this other than the food, very disappointing as we had been looking forward to coming back here for a while. The burgers were on the pink side however didn't expect it to cause any issues.

After having an order that was delivered late and cold by Deliveroo, I contacted the restaurant. They have gone above and beyond to correct Deliveroo’s mistake and I would highly recommend this restaurant on service alone. The food is impressive too…!

Had a Hiccup with our deliveroo order so we went down to chuck and blades to reorder. They rectified the issue straight away & offered to make a new order for us. The girls in there had such amazing customer service and food was top notch! Thank you Chuck and blades 🙌🏼

I had the big dipper in a trashy tray. Loved the burger it was delicious, however I feel the halluomi fingers can be a very done and I was rather annoyed there were only 3 chicken tenders to share between 2 people. Either 1 each or 2 each not 3 for 2. That's mean!

My husband, myself and our two daughters visited Chuck and Blade on Mother's day. We waited over an hour for our food and when we asked the waitress if she knew how much longer it would be, she hurried into the kitchen, came back and apologised saying it was just on it's way out now. Our food then arrived within minutes and had seemingly been made and left under a heat lamp as although it was nice taste wise, it was not hot and the chicken strips were dry. When we went to pay we were told the whole bill had been void as we had to wait for so long for our food to be served. We were only 1 family of 5 groups dining in. Plenty of Uber and Deliveroo orders were leaving the kitchen which seems to be the case most places nowadays to be honest, people dining in tend to be lower priority. In summary, I'm not sure I'd go back now because of the poor service but I do appreciate the bill being voided as some sort of compensation.

Fantastic! Discovered this place by chance during a work trip. Seriously the best burger I have eaten in years, with a huge portion of delicious rosemary salted fries and a pot of cheese to die for. Thank god I don't live near here or I would be in every day. *Several months later* A second visit to Rochester means a second visit to this fantastic little restaurant. Arrived before the evening rush and was seated and served instantly. Friendly staff and excellent food. Only one complaint... no WiFi, or rather as I was told when I asked for the WiFi details. "Yes, we have WiFi but not for customers"!!! In an area with such poor cellular signal having working free customer WiFi would seem like a good addition. I will be back but next time will bring a book 😀

On the 10th of March we were promptly seated (Eastbourne Branch) which was great but after waiting for over 20 minutes with no acknowledgment from any member of staff (despite them serving two tables behind us) we left. We were not even approached to say that someone would be over, not even a drinks order was taken! Shocking service!

I went for an after meal for my brothers wedding and genuinely it was the best experience I have ever had at a restaurant, can’t stop talking about it to my friends! Definitely recommend and I’m definitely coming back again!

I just want to show my absolute appreciation for this place, My name is Lewis, i,m using my brothers google account but I got married on Thursday. It was just a small wedding and at the last minute we booked to come to Chuck and blade. The food was out standing & our waitress, Rachel went above and beyond her job. Rachel made it seem like we had booked this place ages ago and it felt like a proper reception to us. The atmosphere, staff and food impressed us all so much. We live in Bedford, but whenever we are visiting mum, we will be visiting this place. We are so overwhelmed and grateful for all the staff, especially Rachel. Really tasty dirty burgers. Highly recommend the double smashed cheeseburger with the bowl of dipping cheese, it was delicious. Not a cheap meal, so I was a little disappointed with the slow service.

I am simply blown away at how amazing this place was today. My Son got married & just had a simple registry office wedding, less than a week ago we found this place. They did not let us down. Rachel the lady Serving us, went beyond her job & definitely went that extra mile for us all! She put candles out on the table, got a table for the cake, gave my son & his wife a glass of Champagne. She let us choose the music. All the staff were so friendly, so welcoming & fun. The food was on another level. I’m not normally a fan of burgers but these were so Delicious. We 💯 will be back. I want to thank Rachel & all the Staff for making my Son & daughter in laws wedding day even more special than we imagined it being!! I can not give you enough stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

If I could give more than five stars for service I would. My partner and I were in Rochester for a weekend away and saw the menu for this place and decided to book. We were finished in town, it was grey and cloudy, an hour early and went to C&B to see if they could fit us in. We were served by Rachel, who immediately sat us, saying our table was ready, and who was incredibly attentive the entire time we were there - despite us also noticing she was attentive to most of the other tables, too. She still managed to give us an incredible service experience despite being super busy. She kept our atmosphere incredible, explained the menu, checked on us, made us feel welcome and thanked, even gently redirected some children that were messing about near our table to make sure we had the most incredible experience. The food was insane, too, we left stuffed AND with leftovers. 11/10 experience at C&B Rochester, mostly thanks to Rachel!

The staff are genuinely friendly and make you feel right at home. As for the food, the burgers are simply out of this world - each bite is a mix of flavors that just explodes in your mouth. The chili cheese fries are a bold choice but so worth it. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-notch burgers and a great time.

if you like American-style burgers this is the place to go. The chocolate milkshakes are absolutely fabulous. it is a tad expensive, but I found it to be worth it.

Our family wrapped up a delightful afternoon in Rochester with a fantastic meal at this restaurant. The menu offered a wide variety of options, ensuring there was something for everyone, including those of us looking for vegetarian dishes. We were particularly impressed with the quality of the side dishes, which were a hit across the board.

Been here a couple of times absolutely love it . A lovely young boy called Haiden served us on Sunday and was so welcoming and nice. Are food arrived hot and quick. He made sure to ask how are food was and if everything was okay. Would definitely recommend coming here.

Waiting time almost 45 mins. Definitely the place need more staff. I’d give one star for that but I can’t as the burger was too good.

This is just a great place with super knowledgeable and helpful staff. The taste of the food is just superb and the staff are clearly trained to be outgoing and friendly. Must be exhausting being so positive all the time but it's the customer service that sadly isn't seen that often these days.

It's was our first time having a Chuck and Blade Burger and Chips, and in all honesty it was nothing to write home about. The burger was ordinary and the chips were salty and bland. Definitely not worth £30, Cheaper and nicer at Burger King. Sorry very disappointing. Update to our burgers from last night. We've been up since early this morning with poorly tummy's, won't go into details, but you can guess what. Our burgers were a Pink in the middle, perhaps we shouldn't have eaten them. Anyway won't be going to, or ordering from Ramsgate ever again.

The food was so delicious! We went the the Eastbourne Chuck & blade, & we were served by lauren, she was very friendly & attentive. My partner can be quite fussy but he loved his meal. If I was to recommend anything though, it would be the gravy. It was incredible with the chips dripped into it. My son found he had a little too much mustard on his kids burger but we just took some of it off & I will just ask for it without next time. The biscoff milkshake is a must if you have a sweet tooth! I will 100% be returning.

Been before...and as before, never fails to deliver. Great burgers...you'll have trouble finding better IMHO. Service was great too from Rachel. Atmosphere I marked down, as the place wasn't very busy at the time, but I'd imagine if place was full with the music that's played in background it'd be a great vibe.

Me and my partner have been coming here for a few years now. The food is always lovely and burgers are super tasty. You do have to pay for fries separately but you get a huge portion so you get your moneys worth, the staff are always so friendly and welcoming, I’d defo recommend someone coming here if they loved a smash patty and the music is always on point too😜

Despite being local we’d never been into Chuck & Blade before. We decided to give it a try for my daughter’s birthday and were so glad we did! My other half is a celiac (can’t have gluten) and for once didn’t have to compromise as she was able to have the burgers/chips/gravy and decent GF buns. Wha-hey! Makes a huge difference and a lot of places simply can’t be bothered to provide properly for allergies, so thank you! We were a reasonable size group at 14 but all the food came out swiftly and together. Not always an easy feat on a busy Saturday evening. The burgers were great! The fries were great! The gravy was so good I caught my other half sipping it from the pot like it was soup at one point! Haha! Nothing was greasy or soggy, just really fresh. A great example of a eatery/kitchen/restaurant knowing what they wanna achieve and doing it well. The waiting staff were fantastic…..my Dad asked for some lime in his beer and as the bar is limited to bottled stuff, the waitress (sorry I didn’t catch your name) ran across the road to the pub to get him some! Whaaat?! Our other server Lewis/Louis was brill and did his utmost for us throughout our meal. Felt like nothing was too much hassle and even joined in singing Happy Birthday to my daughter (who was turning 3) Despite a table for 14 taking up a chunk of real estate, all the guys there were more than happy for us all to eat the birthday cake we brought for dessert, supplying us with plates/trays and cutlery and at no point did we feel rushed like they wanted the table back. All in all the food was great, the service was great and the vibe was great. We all left very happy and left very full! Thanks to everyone there for a great meal and a great night.

Absolutely wonderful ❤️. We had our first, and definitely not our last,experience of Chuck and Blade yesterday. The food was so good, amazing burgers, with beautiful flavour combinations, cooked to perfection. I had the Limited Edition Pastrami Burger. I'm still dreaming about it today. The truffle fries, also great, and everything else we had too. Even the hard to please kids in the family were blown away. Poutine is a new family favourite. Lush. Service was excellent. Friendly staff, super helpful too. Thank you for looking after us so well. A restaurant in Folkestone would be fab, I don't think we can get delivery from Canterbury.

4 of us went to the Ramsgate restaurant the service was terrible parts of the order were forgotten drinks took an age to come food mixed up on different plates for us to sort out only 1 choice of pudding that never came at all to top it all the food was cold when it finally came out don’t think we will be back
