Amazing! I loved the atmosphere, the service was quick, the food was amazing and I was full only with the burger. The fries were amazing too 🤤 I loved every minute of it.

The blonde girl that served me was nice and had good energy with a nice smile I think she would have come over and checked on me more if it wasn't for the owner probably making her feel uncomfortable because I had applied for a job not so long ago. He need to be a little more upbeat like his staff especially if his the manager. You lead by example. Over all the food was nice and I enjoyed my burger that I had.

Went for my mates birthday before we went on to sittingboure for a night out really good burgers and the sauces were really nice would reccomend

I ordered the chicken burger, and it was one of the most flavourless meals I’ve had. The chicken itself was completely bland, and the tenders weren’t any better. It was clear they had tried to mask the lack of taste by piling on sauces, coleslaw, and even cucumber, but it didn’t help. Really disappointing.

I ordered online on uber eats they had a buy one get one free deal. The deal stated that it was buy one cheeseburger get one free. When it was delivered I was informed that they swapped the extra burgers for chips leaving us unsatisfied been in person and I was really happy food was stone cold can’t emphasise how disappointed I am …

Love the food, but the the delivery times are off the chart. Last few orders have been delivered 1.5 - 2.5h over the esitmated delivery time slot. Last time I'll be ordering unfortunately.

We really really wanted to like this place as the menu looked great, the venue looked cool and I’m big on supporting local brands vs chains but unfortunately it failed to deliver at every turn. The service was awful, we waited for almost 40 minutes before our drinks turned up, the burgers were over charred and dry, there was one ingredient missing from the sides e.g chilli on the Korean chicken, pomegranate on the haloumi etc. they forgot one of our burgers and it took so long to bring it up that everyone else had finished by the time it arrived. I got the impression that it was too busy for the staff and they just gave up. The only positives were the milkshakes and the poutine (Canadian chips and gravy).

Visited Chuck and Blade Burgers and tried a mix of dishes. The Korean BBQ chicken was packed with flavour, slightly smoky with just the right amount of sweetness. The beef brisket was tender and well-seasoned, though it could have been a bit juicier. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly. A solid spot for a hearty meal, but a few tweaks could make it even better.

Another great meal at Chuck & Blade in Rochester. The 'Trashy Tray' is such good value and so much food we had to take some home! The burgers were excellent, as were the sides. Milkshakes are so thick. The burger scene in Kent is very competitive but I honestly think these are some of the best!

Ordered via Uber Eats and given 25-minute delivery time. Watched on app as five delivery drivers arrived at restaurant and then cancelled pick-up. After 2-hours, order was cancelled by Uber Ears. Tried calling the restaurant several times but phone just rang and rang.

Delicious burgers ,loaded fries and halloumi fries .we ordered trashy tray and it was definitely worth it. Milkshake is also very nice ( could be abit more thicker but again very nice). Service was very good ( thanks to Emily if I'm not mistaken) lovely girl. Would definitely be back & recommend this place ! Keep up the good work team 👏

Forget older reviews, I visited this restaurant today and had the best burger I've ever tasted. The choice of sauces was good. The place was busy but the food arrived in 20 minutes, there's beer on tap, the staff were very friendly and helpful, a little expensive but well worth the extra. One place I shall certainly be returning to in the very near future.

Booked table for table for 7 on Saturday arrived 18.45 left waiting at the door 20 min before getting a table menu was left Wait around 20 min again had to attract the attention of the waitress when I could see the waitresses standing at the bar talking sat in a draft where the door was being repaired And then CHARGED 10% service charge For the experience NOTHING ON THE DOOR OR MENU ABOUT THE SERVICE CHARGE

Outstanding delicious food and drink. Unfortunately I've knocked a star for service as this really lets it down. Waited 40 mins for a milkshake and also about half an hour for the bill. So many delivery drivers that they didn't enough people to see to anyone else. Shame really as it can be the best restaurant in Rochester for sure

Terrible Friday night at Chuck and blade. Booked for half 7, food came out at 8:40. Finished a 20oz milkshake before any food arrived. The food was cold, missing aspects, and generally very bad. 10% service charge added to the bill and denied due to the appalling service. Nothing else offered. Will not be back! Should have stuck to the Greedy Banker!

I’ve got to say the double patty with beef brisket was delicious but their menu lacks any pictures so it’s hard to know what exactly you’re ordering from just a description , it’s cheaper to do the share tray deal (£35 for any 2 burgers , loaded fries, halloumi fries and 3 chicken tenders ). and you’ll save over ten pounds. Loaded fries were a bit boring and hardly loaded , nacho cheese with some chopped cucumber on top , what you want is cheese ,onions , jalapeños all melted together , will definitely come back , service was quick , meals on the table within 15 minutes , great choice of music but not sure about the cycling videos on the screens maybe videos of the burgers you supply

Went here on New Year's eve and I was pleasantly surprised to see they were ho during their 2 for2 Tuesday deal. Great burgers and pretty good Poultine.

Wow, I have never eaten such a good burger, chives and my wife had the chicken an the whole family had burgers . I have eaten in so many top restaurants, this is far by the best. I hope to see these everywhere, sick of all the rubbishy restaurants and high street chains. .And I will say thank you James for serving and creating this wonderful food .

This is our 4th year visiting Chuck & Blade on Christmas eve (we've been other times too). We love it here. The burgers and shakes are amazing! Never leave feeling unsatiated. Melissa, our server, was great. Very attentive and friendly. Can't wait to come back in 2025.

Shambles! Ordered food from here yesterday for takeaway and it was a disaster. From wrong prices on the menu, luke warm food, getting our order wrong and forgetting our chips! Got told 40min wait for food, it was ready it was 20 which we thought was great but to then arrive home with some of our food missing, burgers not correct and cold food, the whole experience was terrible.

Absolutely amazing food and brilliant table service, came in on a busy Saturday during the Christmas markets. Honestly one of the best burgers ive ever had, had a young waiter making sure we were okay by the name of Jan, the restaurant looked packed and extremely busy but he managed to work calmly and under pressure. Will be returning again.

I hadn’t been Rochester before but went down for a work meeting. I asked a local, who recommended chuck and blade and well this did not disappoint!!! The food was incredible, we had the chuck Norris burger which tasted amazing and the food was served very quickly. We went at lunch time so had the £15 lunch deal which was well worth the money. Our waitress was Alysha, she was lovely and when asked about the menu was knowledgable which is helpful when you have an intolerance. Safe to say I will be going back and taking my children as well. Well worth the travel from Greenwich to Rochester. Also forgot to mention the Milkshakes are out of this world!!!!

I collected about 8 different meals (BIG ORDER) at lunchtime for myself and my shift team - Dom the waitress is an absolute legend for helping me carry all of the food to my truck parked about half a mile away - going above and beyond love that Dom, especially in just a t-shirt and jeans in the middle of November, you're the real hero. On a slight downside we were missing two milkshakes but I'll let them off as the restaurant was going through a renovation that day and also it was a company lunch so I didn't lose out. Burgers were banging phenomenal scenes on the triple candy bacon burger would 10/10 recommend. Also restaurant is located right near a dinosaur fossil shop which is very awesome.

Let's me honest, most British burgers aren't great. I say that as an American who's has lots of experience of both. The smash burgers at Chuck and Blade were excellent. Cooked the way we asked, nice amount of heat on mine, plenty of dip for my wife's. Service was on point, beer was great (the BAPA) and it was the kind of experience that is far too infrequent this side of the Atlantic. Good job and kudos on the tater tots!

First time visiting this restaurant. My good friend supplies the buns for this chain. Some items aren't available anymore, which is a shame, but what we had was good, but pricey 4 of us was £110 I may not be a regular but will visit again. I think the menu should have photos, not a clipboard with 2 A4 size paper, not a good look for an expensive burger restaurant.i wished I ordered a milkshake,it looks great, maybe the next time.

I've just went to this restaurant unfortunately wasn't great at all the buns were cold and I know thay call them smash burgers but there was nothing off them for 16.50 you would expect a little more

Great food and amazing service when I went with a friend a few weeks ago... Staff (such as James, Alysha and Tide) who were on the shift were super friendly and helpful (knew the menu well and accomodated to my food preferences- e.g- no sauce)... A fab first experience at Chuck and Blade :))

Awful restaurant. Visited a week ago, experience wasn’t anything to rave about. Left standing at the door for 5 minutes before we were seated, ordered our food and considering how much it cost, shocking quality. I had a chicken burger, chips and gravy - hash brown was practically mush, chicken had no flavour (we’ll get to this) and the gravy was warm at best. Chips were nice though. Left the restaurant after waiting what felt like a lifetime to have our plates taken and get the bill in the most boring atmosphere known to man. Maybe 4 hours after leaving the establishment I started feeling a bit rough (I had eaten nothing else the entire day and the day before was strict diet food). I have been ill since, multiple sleepless nights and so far 2 holiday days and now 3 unpaid sick days at work. No one else has been unwell, but I was the only person who had chicken - I wonder why I was ill? Maybe if they focused on making their burgers taste nice and not ramming them full of disgusting coleslaw I would’ve noticed something about the chicken but I spent most of my time chewing on cabbage and mushy chicken and hash brown. I did contact the restaurant but got no response, clearly they’re not bothered in their future customers and making sure this doesn’t happen again!

Very good food and good value for money. We went for the £35 sharing platter and were absolutely stuffed and couldn't finish the plate. Drinks were reasonably priced. The service was quite slow though and having a good view to the kitchen it was evident they were back to back with takeaway orders.

Food was delicious (would highly recommend the big dipper or cluck norris) Waiter was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be returning next week!

I may have put 5 out of 5. But this is a true reflection of C&B. We go here regularly and there is never ever any changes to the food and service. Always great music everytime. We had Jan waiting on us today. Ensured we had information on the kids menu. Always a chilled experience and can enjoy our food and drink without staff hovering to get their tables set for the next customers.

Called to book a table tonight and forgot it was 241 Tuesday. Spoke to Alysha who was very helpful and managed to squeeze us in even though there was a table of 28 coming in at 7.30! We looked at the online menu on the way to the restaurant to speed up time and chose our meal and sides pretty much as soon as we were seated. Great service and food was brilliant. Nice big smiles and friendly attitude from the staff and Alysha made us feel welcomed even though the place was rammed. Keep up the good work guys 10/10 from me and my family.

We had the unfortunate siting of 2 young ladies having an argument and then they both left and a young guy had to do everything by himself. We had to wait over 45 minutes for our food. We have been here before and have never witnessed such unprofessional and unpleasant behaviour

Unable to get the Trashy Tray which is the reason we went there! On arrival we were told it would be a 45 minute wait for food which we accepted and sat down as we thought we would order drinks while we wait. A waitress came to take our order and we ordered the trashy tray and they said they were unable to do this as they have too many orders going out for delivery and in the restaurant and she had to come back to take my order as I had to change what I wanted. We ordered a burger each and loaded fries and 2 drinks (no draught beer available as they said they recently opened and hadn’t put in their kegs yet). When they brought over the drinks minutes later, the waitress said the kitchen rush had died down now and our food should be out much sooner. I asked if we can now switch over to the trashy tray as we ordered the same thing (except for the extras you get - 3 chicken tenders topped with fresh chillies and sesame seeds drizzled in Korean BBQ sauce. 6 chunky deep-fried halloumi, drizzled with pomegranate molasses & garlic mayo and a large milkshake!) which they said would now be available. She went in the back to ask and came back saying No it’s not possible as the order had been put in already and it cannot be changed. (minutes ago). We ended up paying more and getting less. It’s a shame as the food and service from the waiters/waitresses were really good and they were very nice and pleasant. Seems like better management and customer management is needed. Better to stay at home and order or go somewhere where the customer is appreciated as it should not cost the customer!

Visited today and was looked after by James. Food was amazing and had a few follow ups by James and nothing was too much trouble. Very helpful and polite guy. Knows the business inside out. Milkshake was also out of this world! I felt valued as a customer and will 100% come back again. The 2 for 1 Tuesday was just a bonus as the food was that good I'd have happily paid full price. We got the tuck in tray which was nice. Only thing was that it only includes some burgers, which isn’t mentioned on the menu. Only weird thing is you get to choose two sauces, but they end up just giving you the bottle of sauce anyway Service though is terrible. The guy who served us didn’t even tell us a drink we ordered wasn’t available and put another drink on the table and walked away. When telling him it wasn’t the right drink he started reading the bottle to then agree it was wrong.

The food was excellent (as always), and service was very good despite the restaurant being very busy. We were a big group (10) but staff were friendly and attentive. Love the Trashy Tray (great value).

Friday night, service poor, the whole place quite dirty. No one really taking charge. Food okay. Was better when it was at the old location.

Held off writing a review for a while because wanted to go there a few times before forming an opinion but after yesterday it seems things haven't improved in Rochester. Just to start: the food is always good. Can't fault the food and the prices haven't really jumped like other places which is great, and the two for one Tuesdays make it even less of a hit on the wallet for eating out. What really keeps letting the place down consistently is the service. A few times now, yesterday included, we had to wait a good 25 minutes for our drinks after ordering. A while a go on another occasion we got our food before our drinks. I had to get up and and get drinks from the counter as they were made by someone and left there ignored. Yesterday I had to ask for our drinks 25 minutes after giving our order. Our order was taken almost as soon as we sat down which was good, but after that we saw two separate groups be seated and then no one came to take their order. After 20 minutes of waiting both tables left! One table had two small children and we're really not happy, but no one seemed to notice. The servers were quick to remove their menus from the table shortly after they left though which was odd, and they didn't seem phased that they left. Almost as if it was a normal occurrence, which is worrying. Another group that arrived either straight after us (or even before us as they were there for as long as us) we're only having their drinks taken to their table as we were leaving! So I'd estimate they were sat for about 30/40 minutes before getting drinks.. Shortly after our drinks arrived so did our food, which we inhaled due to being starving. My son was getting frustrated and I think if our drinks didn't arrive when they did we would have also left. Again, the burgers are great. Can't fault them, they are consistently good. If you get a take out then you'll enjoy the food I guarantee. There was a steady stream of people coming to pick up food/deliveries and sometimes it felt that these orders were taking precedent to the people actually sat in the restaurant. Our server was very polite and very nice, but seriously over worked! This really isn't a criticism of the servers, they seem to be doing all they could but seemed to be working back of house as well as front. All signs pointed towards them being stretched way too thin and really needed some help. There only ever seems to be 2 servers working there regardless of whether it's dead or busy. My son and I love the food (he especially loves the milkshakes, they are great, I would urge everyone to try each one they have to offer) but if you're looking to sit down and get your food and drink in any kind of acceptable time scale then think twice about going there. Or at least go there when it's dead. If you look inside and see that it's busy (you'll notice 90% of people with no food or drinks in front of them) then just try somewhere else, or get a take out. That might be quicker. So again, great food. Service really needs to be improved in Rochester and I hope it does because it's the only thing letting the place down.

The slowest place on earth the staff take ages to even sit you down and take a drink order then when it came to getting food we was waiting 1.15 which is an absolute joke shocking place will not be coming back and will not be recommending it to anyone

Chuck and Blade serves up a seriously indulgent menu that’s definitely not for the peckish. Everything was a little heavy for me but that’s the style and they do it well! Great atmosphere and friendly staff is the cherry on the large cake.

These burgers are fantastic! Pricey but incredibly tasty. Best burgers in the area. I’m a big fan of the in and out with a hash brown.

Delicious burgers and great service made for a wonderful family lunch treat

The food was alright, but that's about it really. Didn't find the sambal particularly good, and the halloumi strips were over-cooked, way way too much of the burger sauce on the chips, but it was edible so there's that. We got the platter which was a pretty good deal.
