It is now a pizza place so I suggest you remove it from your site and rename as "Nonno's Pizza". I cannot therefor rate it as I have yet to visit. But it appears to be very busy when I walk past.

Impromptu trip to chippy in CW as chilterns line didn’t stop at Ricky. How I wish I’d waited for the Met line! Chips soggy and in need of frying for a fair few more mins. Fish and pie over cooked and dry. Curry sauce not pleasant. All in all not a good experience and will not be trying it again any time soon.

I went in yesterday about 1:00 p.m. This place sounded good and I fancied some chips. My portion of chips was quite large but they were horrible, nearly cold and unappetising. No complaints about the service, but really these were nasty chips. I did not try fish or anything else. I tried eating a few in case some were better than others, but left most of them. Was it the wrong day to go in? I certainly would not go back.

I am a chef for over 30 years and I live 15 mins away so I thought that getting fish and chips for this place would be crazy . But the fish was still very nice and still have crispy. 4 cod and chips all great quality will definitely be there for more take away

Startups make the classic mistake of skimping on quality round here and then it’s unrecoverable after you get a bad rep. The quality of cod, the freshness of the batter and yummy chips are very good.

We go there regularly and it is always quick with a friendly service. Good price and lovely fish and chips.

I live locally but have never been to this fish restaurant before. 2 days ago I went there & bought 2 portions of cod & 1 large chips, the shop was empty at the time , I didn't have to wait as the fish & the chips were already cooked My wife & I are in our seventies & have had many fish & chip meals in our lives, this, for us, was the worse meal we've had for many years. Both the fish & the chips were very greasy & tasted of stale oil. It tasted so bad that after a few mouthfuls we ended up throwing it all away. This is my first & certainly my last visit to this chippy.

Been using this chip shop since it opened and have always had great food! Decent portions, freshly cooked! The couple that own it are lovely! You must try this shop!

Fish always freshly cooked to order , great size and chops perfect . As a Northerner in exile always on look out for a good chippy and this one fills the bill !!

Good value and pleasant staff. Local shop which provides good quality. The only downside is the amount of time it is open. Would be better for longer opening times.

The family that run this business are lovely and always do their best to produce quality food. Very speedy service.

It's increasingly rare these days to find a traditional Fish & Chip shop just like you remember from your childhood decades ago, yet here it is, complete with obliging proprietor! It's a family run business serving excellent quality food and reasonable prices, open for lunch & dinner Tuesday to Saturday and it had a steady stream of customers when we ate there on a Tuesday lunchtime, despite it's relatively quiet neighbourhood location. Being family run it closes for the annual family holiday in August for a couple of weeks, but I'm looking forward to joining the queue when it re-opens Sept 1st !

It's delightful to find a traditional British fish & chip shop, complete with obliging proprietor, still going strong and attracting a steady stream of customers even on a Tuesday lunchtime in a (relatively) quiet location. This family owned business isn't trying to be anything fancy but succeeds brilliantly at being the sort of place we all know and love - a real neighbourhood treasure. Being family owned, it does close for the family summer holiday, this year 4th to 30th August 2016. As Chorley's Plaice offers great quality and good value I'm sure I'll be in the queue again, come the beginning of September!
