Chop Chop Noodle Bar in Hammersmith and Fulham

I popped into Lychee Bay for late lunch at 2 today and really enjoyed my meal. All of the staff were just lovely too. I had a quarter crispy duck, veg in garlic sauce and egg fried rice. It was all fresh and very delicious! The air conditioning was nice too. The only thing i would have preferred personally would be if the music was a little quieter, though it wasn't very loud at all. Thank you.

Popped into the rebranded name of lychee bay. Used to be called chop chop. Can't comment on the take away food section . We ordered a sit-down meal. The food was absolutely tasteless. One plate of noodles was so watery it was almost like a dish of noodles in soup served on a plate. We complained at the end that it was tasteless and poorly presented. Not worth nearly £9 for each plate of noodles. The 2nd dish was not much better just so bland. The cafe had no other customers but us and we had to wait for 10 min to be served. And had the cheek to put a 10% service charge. We asked for the service charge to be removed. She answered she had to serve us we replied if you don't serve us how do we order the food. Not recommended.

Fast food Chinese style. Massive portions of noodles, easily enough for two. Quick service and fair value. Clean and tidy place.

Just pass away as quickly you can. Dont even think of ordering the seafood soup. Taste horrible, discasting. Very disapponted

He estado en Chop Chop varias veces. Siempre pido uno de sus platos de fideos, pero hoy pido su picante sopa de fideos tailandeses. Fue uno de los peores platos que he tenido. Había una gruesa capa de grasa / aceite encima del caldo y sabía a agua de platos sucia. Absolutamente horrible Tomé una o dos cucharadas y luego dejé el resto. La camarera parecía perpleja cuando le dije que se la llevara. Le dije que era demasiado grasiento y que tenía un sabor horrible. Retiró el cuenco sin disculparse ni decir nada y rápidamente trajo la cuenta. Una de las peores experiencias en cualquier restaurante. ¡Nunca más!

Really good Chinese food - great value for money. Very polite and helpful staff and very fast service despite place being busy on both occasions. Flat noodle soups - highly recommended. I'll definitely be back again

Essen schmeckt fad und nach Fertiggerichten. Das Fleisch war viel zu trocken, das „Gemüse“ was zur Hälfte aus Zwiebeln bestand, war jedoch in Ordnung. Günstig ist es, allerdings kriegt man für den Preis bei anderen chinesischen Restaurants deutlich bessere Qualität.

The food we ordered was 30 mts late eventhough they said it will be delivered in 20 mts. The food was okay and nothing great to talk about. The bbq pork ribs, Thai noodle soup, sweet and sour soup, chicken black bean was not bad.

I’ve been here many times with friends before or after a QPR game. Yesterday was again it’s usual quick service. The food again [chicken chow mein] was tasty & the price for London prices was excellent. All my friends [6 in total] were more than happy with the food served & the price. A highly recommended place to eat imo.

Really bad customer service skills. As soon as I walked in their I had to wait a few minutes to be seated as 4 members of staff were too busy laughing and talking among themselves, bare in mind the restaurant was empty at the time. As soon as I was seated I ordered a chicken and sweetcorn soup and chicken chow main. I asked if possibly if I could have the soup first before the main course as I've had experience there where they bring everything up at once. The lady staff member said abruptly "no we can't do that" she then started talking to other staff members in Chinese and laughing which I believe was directed tawards me as staff members kept giving me dirty looks. A male staff member then slammed the soup on my table and walked off. I was quite horrified by the way he was tawards me as I found this unexpected. The soup was nice. However maincourse was horrible it seemed it was microwave with only 4 bits of small chicken and plain noodles. It was tasteless and freezing cold at the bottom. I did not complain as I was so hungry I just wanted to eat and leave. When it was time to pay which came to £11.40 I gave £15.40 as I expected £4 pound change. The male waiter just took the money and did not give my change back thinking that they really deserved £4 tip for their "excellent" customer service. I said to the male member of staff who was oriental, slim build, 30-40 years old.. "excuse me, Where's my change?" he just looked at me like I was an alien and walked off. I then stormed off as I was shocked that I didn't get my change back. This place has gone hill. I use to be a regular customer but will not be coming back. Food has gone down, staff are rude and its not a nice atmosphere at all. 0/10.

Don´t go to this restauraunt. If you don´t sit how they want you to, then they don´t even serve you. Run like a Communist state.

By far the worst place I have ever been to. Staff were very rude and I mean rude. They were swearing at us and the table next to us. When asked after an hour and a half where our food was, we were told to stop being impatient. Food was definitely all microwaved and definitely not worth the prices they charge. Apparantly they charge extra on busy nights, and the worst part of this horrible experience was that they refused to take off the service charge, and as we were leaving they told us we didn't leave a large enough tip. Genuinley the worst restaurant experience I have ever had.

The prices for very affordable and for what you get its wonderful, great place to grab something to eat quickly.

We sat down and ordered food from their big menu. The plates came out almost immediately looking and tasting like microwaved meals. Very bad quality. We asked to pay by card but they say only cash even though there is a sign on the front window that they accept cards and on their menu as well. They could have at least let us know it's only cash the second we sat down.

En verdad relativa a un lugar para comer, encontramos piezas de metal (grapas) en unos fideos que pedimos. . . Como adultos podemos manejar algunas cómo para sacarlo de la boca. . No puede el riesgo cuando tenemos niños alrededor. . . Lugar barato con personal de señalando el appologise después de encontrar. . .

La comida es muy mala, no sabor tostado y seco de langostino como un plástico, los fideos de marisco apenas para encontrar mariscos y platos de sabor horrible, el huevo frito son asquerosas. Pedimos 5 platos diferentes, pero todos ellos son repugnantes y la comida era demasiado mal.

Fideos agradable, muy sabrosa y una gran ventaja es que este noodle bar es muy barato. Fideos con verduras llevé sólo para 5, 20 libras. Altamente recomendado!

No estoy seguro de lo que ha ocurrido recientemente, pero el Jefe se ha ido y regular la mayoría de los mejores servidores han dejado en un período de dos días. Muchos favoritos regulares desde el menú ha desaparecido - Pato Chino en el hueso y crujiente de cerdo. Kung Po Pollo - que fue un excelente plato es ahora completamente cambiado. Actual jefe no es buena; todos ahora están muy sabrosas salsas pobre y amarga. Gestión están insiste en que nada ha cambiado. Ahora debe ser muy cuidadoso con su elección del menú. Ah, sí todos los precios han subido también en un 20% al otro lado de la mesa.

He utilizado el Chop Chop en varias ocasiones durante los últimos años. Normalmente es ocupado cuando voy (normalmente cuando QPR están jugando).

La comida es mala y la actitud personal es deplorable. Aunque la mitad del lugar está vacío hacen que te sientas junto a extraños, las mesas están muy cerca. Le pregunté al gerente por qué hacen eso y me dijo que porque sólo hay 2 camareros, así que es más fácil para ellos. También, si no como sentarse como que no podía ir a comer allí. La primera vez que fui fue a corto cambiado. Segunda vez que tuvimos que comer con un extraño en mi cara. Hazte un favor y a comer a otro sitio.

We ordered lots of food here and the prices are really good especially being in London. I had Malaysian fried noodles & BBQ spare ribs which was v good. It was a great place with good service & generous portions. Excellent value for money in expensive london.

OK this place looks like a bright clean food canteen. Its a few shops west of Shepherds Bush tube station (central line branch). You order from an extensive paper menu which acts as a food mat. You scribble your order on a numbered pad. Food appears quickly. Service is adequate but think "canteen". The food is very good value ie about £5-7. I had the roast duck and rice but the laksa looked good. Its not a food destination but if you are in the area and on a budget, this place is hard to beat. By the way they do delivery too. Excellent traditional HK style Chinese Chop House Restaurant - Duck / BBQ Pork Rice is well up to standard. Great value for money - all very reasonably priced £8 / £10 per head. No atmosphere - but this place is all about the food. Enjoy.

I often going to Chop Chop although i live very close, very large portions at very affordable price, is always busy, same with take away.

Chop Chop Noodle Bar is a convenient place for quick eat in hurry.Prices are reasonable even seated whilst the tastes are just ok.

The food is dry, bland and never fresh, if you decide to have anything from here, be prepared to eat a lots of onions too and don't try to request your meal a curtain way as they care less about if you like onions or not. They will tell you that it's all you get. I'd rather pay an extra pound to get better service, I might tip, but the service is as bad as the food. The only good thing I can say about this place is that they do a good job to hide the rats they have downstairs where they prepare every meal.

I ordered beef chow mein and jasmine tea. Arrived fast, piping hot, very tasty, good portion, plenty of meat and under £7. What's not to like?

This was a nicely laid out bright café with quite quick service. Ordered won ton soup and (Malaysian) Ho Fun dish "Kway Teow" which had a warning red chili sign next to it on the menu. I know it to be a good mixed up flat noodles, beaten egg, soy, chilli and mixed shrimps and pork bits noodle and bean shoot fry up with a spicy kick.It was. But it was as spicy as a boiled potato. No spice at all. So I requested Chili oil. "50p". Okay. Small saucer like you normally get for free. Soup served at same time was quite pleasant, but the won tons were dreadful. On eating the dumplings they broke into grainy bits of pork mince, no prawn at all. The salvation were four bits of raost pork and 4 decent prawns in the noodles. Next to me the lady sent back her chicken chow mein, and to their credit they re-did it and it looked improved. To my right the request for chopsticks was turned down. "Chopsticks finished". I was very hungry and ate most of the food but it is not quite the real deal and more a place to load on carbs. If you want to taste the difference go to Queensway, take a left out of the exit and eat at first Chinese you come across. But, you will pay more, and this restaurant was quick and bright.

Ideal to have an affordable dinner mostly the beef in oyster sauce soup is what i always order. Very quick restaurant ideal to have a quick meal and VERY AFFORDABLE.

dumplings are so good! Only downside is the noodle soup broth is quite oily and not very flavourful - i added some chilli and chicken stock which helped a bit. Cheap and cheerful though! quick delivery and never any issues with the food.

sauce is soo salty cant even imagine chef can serve that food? as a chef you need too check every single sauce or food before you serve it too costumer...

Stopped for a quick bite on the way home. Service was actually good and friendly. Place was busy, clean and well organised. Cheap prices, decent portion but not much meat in my beef lo mein. Basically I got what I paid for. As they are open later, a decent choice for a quick bite.

I have come here a few times now being so close to the train station first time rice was hard and dry 100% not fresh. I passed by today I ordered x2 chicken sweet corn soups as a starter was the worst I have ever tasted was tasteless.. My sister ordered a noodles with seafood she got 2prawns and 2 squids little pieces the hole plate was just noodles, they also brought it out all at the same time even tho I had asked for the soups first.. I will never come here dry unfresh food completely! You also can't tell the staff anything because they don't listen and are rude !!

Restaurant open but floor being cleaned so I had to squeeze in with the takeaway drunks to have me meal by the window. Are you open or closed? Ordered starter and main. Main course came first and went cold while the starters came in two separate servings. Seaweed was cold????? Prawn on sesame toast was nice with sweet chilli sauce. The cold sweet and sour and fried rice was ok but not very plentiful. Someone had rice noodles that looked a lot nicer.

I was physically attacked by these two Chinese waitresses pushed in the corner punched on me chest because I refused to accept their terrible and fascist customer services, patronising me by calling me darling. I did speak to police but chose not to take it further because of court hassles. A man who was the customer instead of stopping these two girls started shouting at me. I felt like the two Chinese waitresses as prostitutes on board.Am from Australia and no wonder these Chinese women are called catching cabs. I believe in karma. And leave it on that.

Took 1h 45 for delivery when it said under and hour. I called and they told me it was on the way even though they didn't even ask me for a name or an address. The food was only very average which is disappointing as the eat in is usually good won't be ordering again

Great place to visit if you like massive portions of food and no vegetables (though some dishes are 'spoilt' by the presence of green healthy stuff). Not a place to go if you like healthy eating or on a diet cause it'll take a lot of will power to only eat a small portion of the huge plate. The food and service is basic but we like this place a lot cause it's unpretentious, fills us up, cheap and the food is delivered quickly. Job done.

my partner & I enjoyed a lunch here on a Saturday. we were delighted with the big selection and clean atmosphere. The beef ho fun I had was generous with a lot of tender beef slices, and it was clearly cooked very quickly on a very high flame, givien that aromatic barbeque/smokiness. My partner had duck chow mein which also had a generous serving of duck, and was delicious. We shared a side order of crispy fried chicken wings, which had a great crispy batter. Total bill was £15!! Definitely go again when we are next in SHepherds Bush!

spring rolls are rubbish sweet and sour chicken noodles are really good and so is the chicken sweetcorn soup. good value and does what it says on the tin!

I love Asian food and chop chop is one of my favs. It local and affordable and I'm probably there number one customer. Cheeky tip you get more for your money if you take away.

Just opposite kings cross. Good place to save money and time. the food is ok but don't expect too much...the stir fry hofen comes with sticky sauce all over it which is a bit weird.

We were staying nearby and visited due to good TripAdvisor comments. My partner had the fried noodles with egg sauce and I had pork noodle soup. Both dishes came quickly and were really tasty and fresh. The best part were the vegetarian spring rolls. Highly recommended for a fast cheap dinner.

Love chop chop their chicken dishes are halal which is good for us. Their seassme prawn toast are just superb and chicken in black bean sauce and prawn rice are lush. A must for anyone in the area they are always busy and getting a table can be a nightmare but they do local delivery n takeaway too.

great delivery time, but food quality is below average, i can cook better chinese food then this take away. best thing about them is the quick delivery, food is very watery you cant taste any seasoning, not even the soya sauce because of the amount of water they pump in. egg fried rice has no egg, i swear they did not use, an egg on mine, they put 1 little piece of scramble egg on a white rice and called it a day. Wouldnt order from them again even if i had to starve.

A really good value for money place to eat.It's clean, it's quick and the portion large.It's very minimalist and the menu is not extensive but if you want a good wholesome meal for one, you can't get better.A fried noodle is less than £5 and a Singapore Kansa £5.10.Ask yourself where you can get that sort of value right next to the Westfield.

Super fast delivery & good portion size. Kway Teow Hofan was SUPER tasty! Beef in Szechuan Sauce Egg Fried Rice was only mediocre - could have had more beef & less rice in the dish.

Cold food. 15 mins late. Driver did not even realize i was there right in front of him for 5 min. Could not even call the restaurant to ask where my food was. I regulary order foor from just eat and this is ridicoulus.

La comida muy abundante y rica que es lo importante. Pero además a muy buen precio. De los mejores restaurantes de comida asiática que he estado en Londres. La decoración del local es sencilla de todo pero eso es lo de menos. Ya he repetido varias veces tanto en el local como para llevar.

The food here is yummy, servings are large, and the service is really quick. The restaurant is clean too. Most of the dishes are not really authentic - if you order the same in Chinatown it won't taste the same - but I don't care because it tastes good anywhere. The most authentic dish here is probably the Laksa, which tastes just like it does in Malaysia. It closes at 2330, so it's good for some food after some manic shopping at Westfields.

Chop Chop does not serve great food; but it does serve cheap food that isn't too bad - actually their laksa is pretty good. Serving sizes are always large. The service is brisk at best, but they do deliver and that service is usually excellent. So, if you want high cuisine then Chop Chop is not the place; but if you want large portions of basic Chinese food at very reasonable prices then it's a good place.

Not one to leave bad reviews but, it tasted like a ready meal from a supermarket - Me and my colleague both threw it away after a few spoonfuls.

If you're shopping at Wesrfield and need a quick Chinese lunch, this is the fastest. They served our meal within 10 mins and we were out of the restaurant within 30 mins.

I am a regular if we are talking about chop chop. I discovered this place 8 years ago and since about 5 decided not to go anywhere else cause nothig is better than this place !! They recently started take away which is very convenient.Fresh food, decent prices and friendly staff...its all i am after and they offer exactly that. You have several options and my best will be butter fried pranws and mixed seafood noodles. But honestly what ever you will order it will be AMAZING!!In terms of location its very close to Westfield white city.Anyway if u need a good place to eat you should definitely try chop chop!!Enjoy
