The food is good but too much msg. Just got new menu price are very expensive £5.30 for a portion of fried onions come on. I know foods and gas are expensive but it’s an onion and a wok. The staff never smile

This is a good take away good food nice staff. The only thing is the price it is probably the most expensive I have been to boy like I say good portions and nice food

The best ever . Got a few dishes and all were excellent will not go any where else now , we don’t live in Padium we come from nelson , but it’s that good we go here

I have ordered from here last 17 years and it has been the pinnacle of chinese food for the family. However the last three orders have been shocking. Salt and pepper chips no seasoning in terms of onions chillies pepper & garlic I could but would not serve what is claimed to be S&P chips everyone has salt and pepper at home. As usual chips dried up and cold and food well could have purchased from a store. Asked the lady if it was a new chef she said no.. made me more concerned. No apologies just silence when I rang to provide feedback. We will never order from there again. Hope you guys have a better experience. Shocking to say the least. PS sort it out.

Changed owners. Prices have gone up but quality has gone way down. Used to love their food but having tried them a few times recently have decided it's time to find a new Chinese to use.

Used this takeaway for years. Can not fault the food. Very friendly staff and delivery driver, always delivers in a timely manner too.

For once everyone agreed on we wanted for a takeaway! Got salt and pepper wings, crispy beef with ok sauce, chicken fried rice, chips and curry sauce. Food was spot on, hot and tasty. My only grumbles were the curry sauce was pretty spicy for my son and the price. Quite expensive for what we got. Worth a visit though.

They definitely dont serve bat or rat curry here so tired safe from catching Corona. The pork balls and curry sauce is a must try!!

Fast service, and great tasting food , when I require a good take out this is my Chinese eatery of choice, and the added benefit of just being around the corner from me , and good chips

Title says it all, try double dragon, miles better, tastier, better portions and cheaper, oh and it took nearly 90 minutes to arrive, never again.

I placed an order at 5.00 for a delivery specifying that I am allergic to prawns, clearly not listening they put prawns in my food which I didn’t discover until eating some! My husband returned the food to Choi’s kitchen who wouldn’t refund us the full amount as they wanted the stone cold chips and prawn crackers returned. That’s 2 trips my husband had to make as they refused to send the driver back. I’ll see what health and standards have to say.

Not very impressed, Special Curry was all sauce and very oily. Garlic Chilly Chicken was very watery. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was passable. Cash only, with no receipt given Won't be going again, although I may have gone on a bad day. On a brighter note, there were plenty of customers coming in buying bags of chips. Thanks

This is a family run takeaway and run by same people for over 10 years It is good food and great service

Ordered chicken curry & fried rice takeaway total £6.50 to be told minimum order for delivery £8. To make it up I ordered a portion of mushrooms at £3.90. When it arrived it contained about 6 mushrooms and a load of almost raw onions what a rip off. The chicken curry consisted of pieces of chicken in curry sauce. Don't think I'll be using them again

Whilst not a 5 Star culinary experience if you’re hankering for a sweet and sour chicken or spring roll or two you won’t gonfar wrong here. Been using them for years :)

My partner and I ordered take out from here and were impressed by the quick service. We paid £25 and ordered: Singapore vermicelli, salt and pepper chicken pieces, spring rolls (5) in portion, satay chicken skewers and a potato pie, chips, tea cake and curry sauce. Sizes of portions very very good and defo value for money. The food was delicious; my only criticism was the salt and pepper chicken pieces were slightly on the dry side - not all of them but maybe 40%. I would 100% order from here again. Value for money and satay chicken was awesome!

For as long as my parents have lived close by (15 years) chois kitchen has always been good! The salt and pepper dishes are brilliant! Big portions and reasonably priced! Always fresh! Can’t really go wrong

Called for tea the other night as my usual takeaway was closed. I ordered my usual beef curry and rice which arrived quickly and was served with a smile. I do not know if I picked a bad night but I can only say how disappointed I was with what had been served. The beef appeared to be of a very poor quality and was overcooked to such a state that it was hard dry and unfortunately inedible. Of the little meat that I attempted to eat I was disappointed to find that it was full of gristle and again inedible. As I said it might have been a bad night but it

The food is OK. Too much salt or msg in the meals. Just the same old same old menu wise. But expect a cheery atmosphere

Have been here often over the years and the food never disappoints. They do a lovely salt and pepper tofu for vegans and truly the best chicken curry and prawn crackers I've ever had. Always freshly made, hot and ample portions , well worth a visit.

We order from here regularly, once a month. The food is delicious! They deliver locally too for only £1. Would highly recommend.

Nunca tuvimos una mala comida desde aquí. Las porciones son grandes, con mucha variedad de comida china. Pescado y patatas fritas son geniales también.

What it says on the tin. Nothing fancy but is of good quality and friendly staff. I'd recommend anyone passing by or living near to give it a go.

Friendly service, food is your average "chippy" food, but tasty as you would expect, not as cheap as some other chippies in the area, don't go off the closing times they have on the window as this chippy closes as and when they decide to, all in all, nothing special but food is hot and relatively tasty

Great takeaway good choice of meals , always piping hot , you get really big portion sizes I love there special sweet nsour , they also do local delivery .the prices are good as the portions are really big , I can recommend this place .

Always plenty of choice, I particularly love the chicken curry with chips, and I have never seen such a large protions of chips, they are yummy. Hubby and I have also had the fish which is also very good.

We get a take away from here now and then. We have always had good food. It is also delivered very quickly, never had a bad meal.

They always offer a great service and the food is always fresh and cooked to order. They have a amazing selection and if you want anything different just ask and they will supply it for you. Very good value for money
