Tried phoning for 55 minutes with no answer but sometimes it's engaged and still can't get them to answer there phone

Got myself a chips n curry sauce. Value for money wasn’t to good. Curry sauce was watered down and infected with paprika, lots of it. Chips were last nights reheats and can of coke was slightly above room temperature. Quick service though

Tried it a few times over the years and was never impressed. Decided to give it another chance tonight and really wish I hadn't. Literally the worst Chinese food I have ever had. £9.20 (cash only) for chicken chow mein and chips, which consisted of a few fatty scraps of chicken and some slimy, tasteless bean sprouts and noodles. Undercooked chips saturated in grease. It was literally inedible and went in the bin. Never again.

Afrer a hectic day and no enthusiasm for cooking, we decided to order a meal from Chois after a long break, as it was always a good local restaurant, and is run by a lovely family. We ordered salt and chilli wings and satay starters which were both excellent - large portions, plenty of flavour and very tasty. However, the main courses were very disappointing as they lacked any flavour at all and were clearly not made with the same quality ingredients which they used to use. We were very surprised and disappointed, and it is highly unlikely that we would buy from there again.

Worst Chinese I've had in a while, salt and chilli chips came tasting like plastic obviously been sitting In the box for a very long time and everything else was below average.

In my experience, many unfair reviews on here. Best Chinese in Larkhall IMO - I’ve tried them all, and none are as good.

Food is absolutely terrible. Chips hard and crispy, chicken balls chewing and chicken dried up. Curry sauce is over spiced! Even the rice was overcooked. Won’t be back! 0/10

Lovely takeaway food, best to order when arriving and not to call ahead, as with anywhere. No sit in available, basic takeaway but still lovely. New menu out 2020. Free wall calendar with festive period orders.

The attitude and customer service you receive from the lady at front of house if shocking. Worst service I have ever received and where and would not recommended Any one to go here or experience the poor service you will receive. Think one of the chips has feel out someone’s order and landed right on her shoulder

Phoned for a Chinese take away and because I asked a question to the lady who takes your order she started ranting and put the phone down. I called back to ask if I could speak to who was in charge but she wouldn’t let me speak with anyone else. I have been a customer for years but will go else where from now on. Extremely poor customer service!

Worst servser ever from here phoned a order for delivery and told it won't be long over a hour later and it arrives told the driver to take it back and I won't be back pity cause I've used this place for years

@ChoischinesetakeawayLarkhall...which part of the bbq has the deep fat fryer? I’ve barbecued ribs before and they have never ever came off the bbq with a thick coating of batter on them...You should really put that on your menu or tell people who order them that the bbq ribs with salt and chilli are coated in batter...anyway they were horrible not even a bbq taste off them! And no matter how much you say that’s the way we do them ...they will never be bbq spare ribs! They are deep fried battered ribs!

Food was freezing ordered chicken fried rice asked for soya sauce and they decided not to bother won't be ordering again 🤷‍♀️

First and last visit here for me, I had the shredded beef in sweet chilli sauce, it was truly horrible, tasted of raw garlic and the beef was just a glutenous lump, totally inedible, it went straight in the bin, my wife had the sweet and sour king prawn, just submerged in that fluorescent orange gloop that must be bought in by the gallon, I won't be rushing back anytime soon. Best avoided in my opinion.

Best Chinese ever and not over priced.

I used to class this place as my favourite Chinese but over the past few years it has become a hit or a miss, more so a miss these days. lady behind counter is the rudest person I have came across, very nippy, abrupt and blunt. the food lacks flavour, fried rice was brick hard, no egg or spring onion in sight, came out box like a brick. the chicken balls where very greasy and had soggy batter. and the curry sauce was like boiled flavoured powder. very runny and disgusting. the whole lot went in the bin

I have take aways every weekend. Fast delivery and food is delicious.

Some of the food is great but if you plan on ordering duck - DON'T. You end up with a container full of fat and skin and 3 mouthfuls of duck. Absolutely shocking quality just a big slimey mess.
