Chippizza in Hartlepool

Ordered a double cheeseburger and chips a bottle of Pepsi 1.5ltr weighted over an hour for delivery when its just down the road and charged me £13.40 well over priced for cheap burgers and cold chips

AVOID! Give you no option but to add extra cheese on your parmo wrap. Food is dry yet undercooked, delivery driver can't follow instructions. Refuse to answer the phone when you call to complain about your food being disgusting.

Ordered 10pm now 11.20 no food stay away

Had pizza from here previously and it was very tasty however tonight's kebabs are a different story. Ordered 2 x kebabs on naans, one with salad and one with salad and sauce. Received a tortilla wrap on each instead of naans, no salad, no sauce, grey chips that looked old and meat that was most likely yesterday's leftovers. Two pieces of fried chicken that were fatty and undercooked in the middle. The food was so bad it's gone in the bin, I didn't even think it was safe to feed it to the dog. Won't bother ordering from here again and I'll be emailing Hartlepool Eats which doesn't support reviews to let them decide if they want to make their customers aware.

If I could rate 0 stars then I would, avoid this takeaway unless all you want is disappointment, we ordered before and our pizza arrived after an hour and a half, it looked as if they had flung it around their heads and then the driver sat on it, we tried to contact the store with zero success at getting through, we gave them one more try a few weeks later and we waited over 2 hours for delivery, we tried to ring them and despite 15 calls back to back there has been no answer and still no takeaway after 2 and a half hours, now going through the hassle of trying to get a refund for an order that just never arrived, terrible service all around, DO NOT USE! AVOID! Update.. food arrived after my partner drove down to the store due to a further 10 phonecalls not being answered to be told we won’t get a refund as the food arrived, and we could maybe have a free garlic bread on our next order 🤣.. our food was undercooked, chips were raw, pizza was just dough and the parmo I wouldn’t have fed to a wild animal.. please once again AVOID

Disappointed. The chips were stone cold, as was the kebab. It was so dry. No salad and the naan was a horrible flat shop bought wrap that was placed underneath just swimming in grease. Had to take it off my daughter as I was worried it wasn't safe to eat. Poor girl on the phone can't do anything obviously it's not her fault but I did phone to let them know about it. I wish I had read the reviews. This was a treat for us. Where is the standards at.

Absolutely beyond rotten, kebab was obviously from the previous day, chicken kebab looked as if it had spent 6months on a BBQ and the garlic sauce taste like pure blended garlic 🤮

First time ever eating from here, ordered in store, would never ever eat here again. Ordered the small munch box which to be fair, is quite a lot of food for the price, however…. The kebab meat was beyond dry and inedible, the chicken parmo was rock hard, the chips were cold and tasted like months old oil the only saving grace was the pizza but even then, this was extremely below par! Couldn’t recommend staying away from this place highly enough! As a small side note, every one of the staff has zero clue on how to work the till, like they were just making it up as they were going along

One star is too much ... ordered food through Hartlepool eats 15 days ago ... order came 1hour 15 mins late with all the lies under the sun. Was promised refund £20.69. Bit nothing except threatening behavior. ... Keep away from here ... before food service and delivery was great.... But now the person that owns has his own way ????

This was one of our go to takeaways for certain things I.e pollo Kiev stuffed crust pizza. Every order I've made with in the last few months has been wrong. ( no stuffed crust and they keep putting tomato sauce on it) OK they send a replacement but if they ever read the notes they wouldn't have too. Don't think I will be ordering again as it turns into a hassle everytime.

Absolutely terrible, we ordered two £25 meal deals which according to the lady on the phone at chippizza consists of two 12inch pizzas, a large parmo, donner meat, chips, salad, sauce and a bottle of pop. All delivered with a £2 delivery fee. Food arrived, two of the four pizzas were only small and no salad arrived. The delivery driver tried to charge £54. Now forgive me for being a bit thick, correct me if I'm wrong but two £25 meal deals add up to £50 plus £2 delivery totals £52. We phoned chippizza to query the cost and apparently, I quote "the till just adds £2 on" and before we even got on to the subject of the missing salad and the small pizzas the phone was put down on us. We used to order regularly from chippizza but since it was taken over the food quality has gone downhill and customer service has clearly gone straight out of the window. I would advise you not to order from here and choose one of the many other takeaways available.

Just had the worst kebab ever meat looked like it had been reheated from last night won't be ordering from here be again

Ordered 5 piece chicken with chips, chicken raw and cold with blood still in the middle. They did send a replacement which was ok but still not what you’d expect. Avoid with all costs in my opinion!!

Just had a parmo & kebab - parmo ok, chips not very nice and kebab awful. Very very greasy, had an odd taste and like a lot of other kebab shops the pitta bread was lazily dumped in a bag rather than served full of kebab meat. Will not order again

The food packaging was flattened and the chips looked like they have been chewed up for 18 pound not happy at all the pizza was cold I felt like I was eating it the next day after I got it really shocking all they had to say was Ile sort you out next time but the wont because I won't be ordering again and the worst part about it I let them keep a few quid change for this bad food ime fuming honestly I wouldn't order from here if I was you really bad

Ordered twice from there now, first time the parmo and chicken tikka kebab was dry, the parmo had no flavor. Next time we got Chicken Shawarma, was horrendous, no care or attention obviously goes in to there meals, full of gristle and bones. Never going again.

Lovely pizza at a great price. The staff are really friendly and brought the pizza though the rain to the car.

I've had half lot with peas last 2 night and they are championionee I've also tried the fish fritters and corn beef patties in a bun and they are probably the best in area 🍔🍟🐟 all good waller

Ok, so after thinking highly of this place I have to say all stars are lost... After munching through a 'warmish' pizza tonight I started digging into a kebab and came across a long black hair🤢 this is a big no no for me!

Today the 16/06/2020..I ordered a 10” Pepperoni Pizza..First of all she took about 10 minutes to get her till opened..eventually she took my money £6.90..and said the pizza will be ready in 10” minutes..after 30 minutes they hadn’t even started..I was the only one there..because I could see he wasn’t making up other orders..only mine..after waiting ages I told them I don’t want the Pizza anymore..they told me to wait..I said I don’t want to wait..just cancel..they ignored..I wasn’t even offered a refund😡Ileft with no Pizza and no refund..they kept my £6.90😡I’m disgusted.

Asked for a chicken tikka wrap and got plain chicken,did not enjoy it the salad was walm and soggy the garlic sauce was runny and acidic, the wrap bread was chewy the only thing I enjoyed about the whole meal was the chips,,my tenner could of been better spent elsewhere

Disgusting!! Ordered a chicken kebab. The chicken had been cooked on the same griddle as beef burgers etc and that’s all the chicken tasted of, it was vile. The lettuce on the salad was brown. The chips.... I don’t really know what to say as they were all different shapes and sizes, some cooked and some undercooked and hard. Will never go back there to waste my money.

Delivery was fast that’s all I can give them. The order was wrong and also looked like it had been thrown together, buns falling to pieces, dry and literally far too small to accommodate the burgers. When I rang to complain I was told I had been given what I had ordered, despite me having the order confirmation stating otherwise. The man kept interrupting me and not letting me speak, whilst telling me I was the one in the wrong and must have ordered incorrectly, which to me is nothing but rude! At the end, after me repeatedly trying to explain there was a single Hawaiian burger and also a double Hawaiian burger in the order not another single veggie burger, he finally grasped that he’d sent the wrong bloody burger, but too late we won’t be going back with an attitude like his.

Delicious KAPSALON eaten, really tasty. Fries with kebap and garlic sauce and salad, toped with melted cheese... Try it once if you like kebap and cheese😏

Lovely hot food searched Hartlepool for a decent parmo, at last found one , chips very nice to.

Used to be our fave takeaway when living in Hartlepool, it's gone downhill since we last visited. The tomato base has changed and the stuffed crust is gooey paste rather than propper mozzarella. Very disappointed.

Ordered from here phoned up to complain because the chips was raw the person on the phone said they carnt be as they just came out the fryer but they where her attitude was not nice and said she would tell her boss but no apology or phone call back it wasn't a cheap order 20 pound plus but won't order again and wouldn't recommend to anyone

Got a cheese burger tonight..the burger was burnt and the bun was squashed..didn't enjoy it one bit! So disappointed as this is usually a good takeaway..

Kebab meat like rubber, childrens pizza comes with two toppings, app states chips as a topping you place order kids pizza only comes with 1 topping when we phoned were told chips are not a topping and to take it up with the app company not the shop. Manager not interested says a lot for their customer service

Ordered on JustEat. Missing part of order. Luke warm food. Made a complaint so they hung up. Reviewed in JustEat. Owner called the next day to ask questions and apologise. Offered a complimentary reorder or refund. Mistakes happen and it's what you do to make right. Thought they valued their customers. But then I saw the rubbish they'd replied to my review. Wonder what else is not all it seems! What a way to run a business. ....
