Burger King in Hartlepool

Busy today. Waited roughly 30 minutes for our food, but everything was fresh. Plenty of parking and plenty of seating. Disabled parking bays close to the entrance.

Food is delicious, service was fab. Restaurant itself was clean and tide. Plenty of parking available

Nice Whopper burger with cheese, hot chips and cold drink. A bit of a cold atmospher but a nice warm service!

They always get the order wrong when delivering from this burger king. Had to submit 3 different refund requests this year just from this store. Today they gave the driver a collection order for our delivery...

Chips cold and looked old. I know its a trek to my home but it seamed a good 30+ minutes old before it got here.

Nothing came. I expect a refund. I couldnt contact them either. Their phone lines werent working.

There seemed to be a long wait for the driver arriving in store to him delivering my food. Took over a hour from ordering to it getting delivered

Food was on time still warm enough to eat and I loved how they had bottled Coke and not in a take away cup so nothing leaked 👍🏻

Rude staff. We waited 35 minutes for our breakfast & only us in. So much for fast food! All tasted of dirty oil. Never again. Avoid!!

Food was freezing, delivery driver said food is cold and left

less than half filled fries and frozen drink, makes you feel like someones been eating/drinking it I can't imagine someone filling a cup under half or the fries.

The onion rings and bacon on the Whoppers were missed. The Burger King app also needs to be reviewed, it was charging about £7 more (and I added vat just in case) than the items in my basket. I don’t think it was tax though cause the price with vat was the same on just eat 🤷‍♂️ . It’s the more expensive fast food restaurant but thought we’d get it for a treat. We were let down by the Hartlepool branch 😔

Driver english was poor, he turned up trying to deliver someone elses food, asking me if im number 7 (different street), I said you've turned up at my house you must have my food, he acted like it;s my misstake, NOT HIS POOR ENGLISH!

My order was apparently delivered at 22:17pm and I didn’t receive it, I even waited an extra 20 minutes after it said it was delivered and still nothing, nearly £40 down the drain. Absolutely appalling.

Went to drive thru, ordered £20.96 worth of food including my 2yr old sons kids meal we got as a treat. When the food was given by the server I specifically asked if all the food was there and she said yes I then drove back home to the other end of town to notice that my sons meal choice (chicken nuggets) was not in the bag. Which he was very upset about. We tried to call the restaurant a number of times but no answer and my wife also emailed burger King through the website and has still not had a reply.

Melt 2.99 purchased, it's getting smaller, not well put together, very little cheese and very dry. Used to love this but it didn't feel like the treat it was

What can I say, 💯 better service than McDonald’s. Wouldn’t normally eat at Burger King with the kids , but after our experience we will definitely be back. I have a fussy 12yr old that doesn’t like sauce. I ordered and forgot to ask about it. I hovered at the till and a lovely young lad called Will asked if everything was okay. I explained I’d made my order but my daughter didn’t want any onions or sauce on her order . He was very pleasant and sorted it. Where as other places would have just told us to pick it off . Well done Will we will be back

We took the grandkids to burger King at hartlepool retail Park. no wonder it was empty had burgers fries drinks coffee's my burger was cold he heated up in the microwave. The fries were cold staff apologised for the cold burger told him about the cold fries. no response. The kids looked forward to this meal.im afraid you won't see our family again. come on get it sorted please.

very dissatisfied with my order after looking forward to a meal. chips and cheese had gone hard they were so cold. burgers were cold. doesn't seem like it was even hot before leaving the store. whole meal was awful.

⚠️⚠️⚠️Food disgusting,freezing cold and found a hair in my child's burger... When myself & wife spoke to staff the just laughed and shouted natalie... This arrogant girl came out and said "what do you want me to do" and all just smirked. I did inform them I was going to take this further and they just laughed and said "how far are you taking it?? To peterlee" I was disgusted in their behaviour... I run 3 business and wouldn't dream of giving that response to any of my customers no matter what they complained about. Called in here with family from Australia & so disappointed. Food well over cooked & cold,girl to busy on her phone to listen to order & got it wrong so manageress had to rectify order much to her displeasure as all she was saying was "I have no time for this" she seemed rude & so arrogant,I asked for her name so I can complain & she would not tell me but I heard a young lad shout "nat" so I'm assuming that could be her name. All in all BK need to get rid of bad staff like this or I can see this not getting many customers for long,as all my friends also say the same about it and we live.in the local area and all travel to further away to visit McDonald's were the food is always fresh & hot..... Sorry burger kill but I'm out & will not be using your hartlepool branch again,ever!!!

Delivery time kept increasing, missed out children’s chicken nuggets and children’s cheeseburger!

Didn't get 8 (as advertised) halloumi fries so disappointing. Don't do decaf tea and coffee, it's about time they got in 21st century.

Food is great. The service wasn't great though as the supervisor had his friends stand at the counter talking, and they were in the way. He knew they were and made a joke about it. Apart from that it was a nice meal.

get charged for item that was supposed to be free and I don't even get it delivered 🙃

UPDATE: 31.05.24: I just get the vibe from some of the staff that they really can't be bothered. They insist that you use the self service machines, but they're filthy - and we all know what happened when they swabbed those ones around London! The receipts don't print. They haven't replaced the paper roll in weeks. The food is usually great but the burger in the cheeseburger looked like cardboard. UPDATE: 07.04.24: Brought my nephew because he really wanted to go and things have improved. The food and service seem to have improved. UPDATE: 29.01.24: Won't be going back here. It's run by immature college kids with no work ethic. Took my sister to get some food for her and my nephew. Five cars waiting ahead of us in parking bays. Food took ages, no apology and food missing. My sister went in for the missing cheeseburger and they practically threw it at her. UPDATE: 13.04.22: I've been back a few times and every time they're either out of stock of soft drinks at the drive through or out of stock of food. It took me about four visits to be able to try the Katsu Chicken Royal, which was stuffed full of pickled cabbage. This time they'd run out of large cups, so I paid full price for a large meal with a medium drink. The service here is terrible. Back down to one star. UPDATE: 24.12.21: Decided to give this place another go after a long break. Glad I did. Increased from one to three stars. I tried the new Memphis BBQ King, some chicken fries and BBQ dip. It was the best food I've had from a Burger King in YEARS. Despite being Christmas Eve, the food was ready in less than five minutes and the food was piping hot. Gordon Ramsey will hunt me down for saying this but the quality and flavour was amazing. It tasted and was cooked prefectly. The beef was moist, not overly cooked and the flavours were great. Might consider going back again. ORIGINAL REVIEW: After seeing a number of people complaining about the store closing earlier than the stated 11pm, I decided to call ahead to make sure they were definitely open, before I waste my petrol driving over. One hour and eight calls later, no answer on the phone. Guessing they're not open. Why bother coming back to town if you're just going to alienate everyone who was interested in supporting your return? When I did visit food was average and often cold.

Sadly bad experience has now put me off bothering to order in the future. Items missing on the order, pay for delivery for what? To be told they can't deliver the kidding items because the drivers don't have to. Then get your employees that messed up to pay for the extra delivery!

Ordered King's kick off meal which should've been 1 whopper 1 chicken royal 2x large fries 2x 4 chicken nuggets. When delivered got everything except the chicken nuggets. Refund request through Just Eat & will never use Burger King again

Nice delivery driver on time and polite but the food was shocking, chips were unsalted, cold and like cardboard and burgers were rubbish. Waste of £25, wont be going back.

Didn't get food as the app is useless.No boxes for kids meals just dumped onto a tray .WORST app for a retail outlet and married to not very engaging staff .Completed receipt for burger offer .but regular fries and regular soft drink and get a free burger but got charged £6.19 hmmm.£2.49 fries and £2.49. - £2.99 depending on drink does not add upto £6.19. NOT AT ALL HAPPY!
