Got a pork parmo, beautiful as per.

I was lucky enough to win a £20 voucher that Chipchase Chippy donated to the wonderful unity festival. We went across from Marske last night to Linthorpe to chose what we wanted. Nothing was a problem, the staff were lovely, food choice amazing and most importantly the food was really good and really generous portions. We all had totally different things but all of it was so good. Thank you so much xxx

the staff instantly know my order when i walk in now, it's brilliant. amazing food as well. go there all the time cuz there's never anything in the house. once heard two of the staff debating about the israeli--palestine conflict. overall, 10/10 place

Barring my local these are the best in and around Town, pricey but divine. Saj is a good chap and often looks out for me!

Came in for chicken curry the lass that served me was the most miserable person I have ever come across got my curry home and there was not one bit of chicken in the curry just all rice

Only 2 fish shops use in Boro, this is the main one, Fish n Chips, or fish Pattie always spot on, never had a bad service yet, been going here over 10 yrs

Visited Saturday and usually pretty good service with a smile. Although this visit was different, i went late on around 8.45, and not much food was left, but the ser ers attitude was appalling didn't finish our order before offering someone else what we wanted.. curry sauce, very poor service, sort it out, chipchase ??????

The attitude on the manager is not professional at all. Bad manners there is no need to put the phone down on customer. I will never order from the shop ever again. They should not have a business with bad manners. Manager need to learn some manners but it might cost her as she is greedy.

Tracy is the person to see, the person to serve you and the person to make your experience perfect. The food is always lovely. It tastes better when the service is brilliant. A little fish shop in the middle of an estate takes such pride in their work.

Well after years of buying from them I'm no longer going to purchase any items as the owner is 1 greedy woman I get nosh box's and asked for 1 item to be wrapped as when in box it gets squashed and she started to moan at me going on the prices for a single sheet of paper I know the cost around 2p

Excellent chippy always consistent, used this chippy for many years now & rarely been disappointed other than once or twice a minor missing item but staff always rectifies. Pizzas are spot on and the parmos are a solid 4 stars. Rarely use anywhere else, delivery is excellent and never late, food is always hot.

Spent over 20 pounds on parmos, they both were so thin couldn't taste chicken or pork , chips were terrible, cold and white like rubber, complained 2 management who said the lad who cooked them said they were fine, but he is going to say that isn't he no refund and what happened to the customer is always right. Never again used to be lovely years ago , bad management and they can't cook, the chips were do bad could taste dirty oil. Don't buy from here.

Absolutley awful. Parmo the smallest I've ever paid £11 for and definitely reheated, kebab meat cold and chewy like rubber. Smallest portion of salad ever, garlic sauce is horrid defo made with cheap mayo and watered down. Out of all the takeaways I've ordered this has to be the worst I've ever had. Its actually made me feel sick. Not the same place it was years ago standard's have defo slipped a LOT. 100% will not be ordering from here again!!

What a chip shop this is! Never ever have they let their food standard drop! I travel to get their delicious food because it's so fantastic and very good value for money for a large family! The staff are all very pleasant and very helpful! This place is a definite must visit of you are in the area! Love it! Thankyou!!

Everything I've ever had from here is spot on. No complaints from me. AND when colleagues visit at work, I can treat them to a lunch time parmo, it's now become a tradition for out of town visitors.

Got a large haddock from thier and it was beautiful and had been skinned which for some reason other fish shops always leave the skin on Chips were lovely too.

Had some fish, sausage and chips from here the other afternoon and they were horrendous. Not fresh, very dry, no taste, batter on the sausage and fish was thick and full of grease. Unfortunately would not recommend

Nice food. Not to greasy and reasonably priced. Kids meals are good value however only come with fizzy drinks which wasnt great as my kids dont like fizz. Really tasty curry sauce

you can get fish without batter here and it's always good quality and lovely staff

I can highly recommend the £10 parmo deal here. It can feed up to three people. Large pork or chicken parmo. Loads of chips, salad, 2 small sauces:- garlic or chili. Also a portion of onion rings.

Bought nosh-box. Patty was burnt to crisp and chips are always re-heated. Worse part is it had plastic in it that damaged my tooth, Didn't want to take any further. But believe it should be reviewed for other's to see as a warning!

Good local chippy, serving traditional (fish, chips, peas etc) and alongside nontraditional (pizza/kebab/parmo). Can be busy with quite a wait at certain times both lunch and evening. Especially if they have a large delivery order. Still as a local chippy it's pretty decent.

down in middlesburgh to better my self. found lovely digs and needed to find a nice fish and chip shop. found it near me. food is lovely and the service is great. the staff are so nice; now cola and emilia serving, big peter steph and tracy in the engine room, and dawn doing deliveries, how nice is that you dont even have to leave the house. good selection of food available. if you have not been there do yourself and the family a favour and pop in for a fish tea, you will be very welcomed and you moght have found your favourite chippy, oh did i mention big queue at teatime always a good sign

Bought fish and chips twice there ,they were cold ,soggy white chips . The whole meal was vile not recommended wont be going there anymore ,would sooner starve yuk .

It's always open lol! Seriously though, it has excellent opening times. The food is always tasty, if a little 'greasy'. I know it's a chip shop, but the batter and chips always seem to leave more oil on the paper than other similar chip shops for some reason(perhaps a better oil?). You really need a hot drink with them. Like I say, there's nothing at all wrong with the flavour! Their parmos are gorgeous though. The menu selection is terrific! Lasagne, pasta bake, pork (yes, I did say PORK) parmesans, great kids options, battered mars bars. A great selection. They could do with a better class of chip, however. I sometimes get my sausage & fish from there & chips from elsewhere. There is delivery available which, on every occasion, has been speedy & courteous! If you fancy a pick from a wide variety of choices, this is the place to be ☺️

Not bad but the place looks like a morgue that's been used for serving food. Other than that the food is not too bad. YK Chow down the road is much better though.

Would give it a 0 star if i could, absolutely ridiculous service, was told 45 mins to an hour, rang after an hour told its gone and phone was put down. waited another half hour still nothing here, rang again and said want to cancel, she said ok then, didn't even give an apology and then tried to give me attitude on the phone because i said id give them a bad review! Terrible service, and bad attitude from staff. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
