Amazing chippy, fish is stunning huge portion & not greasy at all! Big fan of the pizzas too, highly recommend!

They seem to cut the portions. But more than half. Lost my custom. The reason we went ghere all the time was, you got a great meal.

Not the best experience ever. My order should have had beans in a separate container not all over the chips. A change in policy perhaps but not the best time to do it as the beans were for a child

One of the worst chippys we have ever had, got the smoked cod coujons quantity of cod was so poor mostly hard overcooked batter, plain cod coujons weren’t much better with the batter being soft and rubbery. Chips were blanched and soggy. Will never be back.

Never liked chippys, would go years before having one.. Until now, yhis place has thee best beef & chicken burgers & the chk wrap is a filler. Quality food at quality prices & an excellent selection on there healthy options . Fantastic service from the man himself Fra. Thanks team

I would highly recommend The Chip Factory in Glenavy, top class food and top class service. Anyone travelling to and from the Belfast International Airport should stop off at The Chip Factory Glenavy.

Called for a delivery, it didn’t appear after an hour so called again to be told it was leaving, an hour and a half later nothing arrived, so called again to say it was leaving next!!!!! Awful service, 2 hour wait for fish and chips??

We called here yesterday afternoon, Saturday 16 May 2020. We just got two chips and moved a few yards down the street to sit and eat them in the car. Having been confined to the house the past six weeks we thought this would be a lovely treat. What a disappointment. The chips were all stuck together in a big mess. Also there were quite a few bad bits in the chips indicating they had not been properly prepared. We managed to get some chips unstuck but ended up just biting the majority of them. I only hope this was a one off as we had been impressed by this Chippy in the past.

This chippy opened their doors to offer this community a real treat at this difficult period. They not only provided delicious warm food for my family as a treat night, but doing this using safety procedures that customers got car service only. You guys are doing a fantastic job, we really appreciate it. Keep it up

This is the worst chippy I've been to. Most of the times you order a pizza and don't get the right one. You go for just a chip and it takes 20 minutes. Total lack of organisation... Very bad!

My friend & I found this take away which was very good. Large portions & the chicken was great including all the other bits that we ordered. Price was reasonable, the staff were friendly & it was very busy.

First class place good size portions but the quality is there too!! Lovely!!! Chicken burger my favorite.

We order from here regularly and are never disappointed. Their wraps and chicken wings are probably the best IV tasted

Ordered fish and chips, when being put in the box the young girl behind the counter struggled to get it into the box. When I opened it there was also another small piece with it. Could not eat all the chips which was a surprise. Been here a long time ago has not slackened its standards. Will go again when passing.

Amazing food, excellent portions love getting calve for money, they do a seeet curry and it is so tasty my daughter goes horse riding in this area and we visit regularly easily persuaded as the food is really delicious, good amount of staff always on duty and the place always busy, excellent sign, keep up the good work guys 5* excellent

Fantastic chippy, great pizzas, excellent value. Seriously folks, chips that remain crispy by the time you get home! Chicken goujons awesome too!!!

Really nice fresh hot chips today. Staff are very friendly and the batter is excellent. Value for money here its worth a visit.

Definitely one of the more pricy take aways, but it’s worth the money. Very big potion sizes. Food is nice, staff are friendly.

Bought my husband fish and chips from this amazing shop last night...didn't even know Glenavy had a chip shop I was only visiting the garage when I saw it. He said the fish was the best he ever tasted. Guess we'll be back again and again.

I've called into the Chip Factory on far too many mid afternoons when I've missed lunch and I've spotted the sign and given in to temptation. The chips and other snacks are too good.

A good selection of food with the fish excellent and they do great pizzas as well. Monday nights they do a pizza deal which is great value

I'm not a huge "chippy" eater. But when I want my "fix," it has to be beyond good! I am lucky to have this place on my doorstep. The food is faultless. The cod is super buttery, cooked to perfection in a crisp batter and the chips are the definition of a perfect chip.

Great chip shop - with great service, highly recommend the pizzas. Always friendly and speedy service.

I called into the chip factory as I was passing Glenavy, I'm so glad I did, I ordered a burger and chips, which was lovely, the chips are the tastiest I have had in long time. They make from fresh too so be prepared to wait, but it is worth the wait and it is value for money. I don't live in Glenavy but I would definitely would make a trip back it's well worth it.
