The middle of the chicken was frozen and had that old freezer taste.

Absolutely fabulous tradional Chinese take away - everywhere makes pancake rolls as spring rolls , but this place made me a proper ol fashioned pancake roll - sw and aour chicken lovely , ribs rice satay noodles - So nice to find a quality take away

very disappointed it was not what I expected know prawn crackers.Food arrived cold.curry sauce was not up to scratch stay away very poor

I honestly liked the food and customer service, good location to my home. The employees are always super friendly. Highly recommended.

Lovely place, decent portions. My favourite is the Singapore rice noodles. The sweet-and-sour sauce was a bit sour for me, but my missus loved it. Will be coming back, keep up the good work, don’t let a few negative reviews sway you from trying to try them out 🥰

I ordered a plain choi mein and satay sauce, pretty standard, easy Chinese dishes. Delivery was a long time, over an hour and was the worst satay sauce and choi mein I've ever had. Just tasteless, completely plain noodles (I know it was a plain choi mein, but c'mon) and runny, slightly peanutty, sauce. Disappointed.

Quick del.Sweet n sour sauce a little vinegary but the rest was nice.

Please do not go to this restaurant. We had takeaway..the food was 40 mins late. It was cold and soggy Tasteless Just all of it was dreadful Nothing good to say about it

Disappointed. The sort of Chinese that might have been acceptable in the 1970's. Don't mistake this for the longer established and better Kitchen Express on the Ongar Road (as my other half did - silly billy).

I ordered food at 7pm and got an email confirmation and an alert that my food would be 45 mins. I chased my food an 1hr 30mins later and they told me that hadn’t accepted the order. Yet I had confirmation that they had. The man was very rude, my food arrived 30 mins later and it was awful. I will never ever eat from this place again!

Do not order from this place. Before ordering, I saw the reviews and, despite reading some really bad ones, I still decided to give this restaurant a go. Worst decision ever... The food was awful and it came in a filthy tupper (literally, it was filthy). I would not trust the sanitary conditions in which the food is prepared. You have been warned.

Very bad service, ordered at 7:30pm with estimate of delivery for 8:20pm, phoned at 8:50pm told just left the shop, still didn’t arrive until 9:25pm. Ignoring my calls. First time used and never again.

If I could give this place zero star I would. Absolutely terrible! You can just tell from the outside that the place is disgraceful. Ordered, given a delivery time, called the restaurant but no answer. Had to get a refund from deliveroo directly. Totally shocking and will never, ever order here again! I would sooner starve than buy food from them.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. My delivery took over one hour and the manager offered to discount me £1-50 what a joke.... sent the driver back with food ... these people are not from the chinese backroumd either... selling curry probably is the what they really do... (i speak the same language) The address is misleading as they seem to have another’s business under the same address THE KITCHEN..... AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Ordered from here for the first time tonight. VERY disappointed. When it first arrived I could see that chip bag had possibly been tampered with as was wide open with 1 end twisted closed. I asked for a pork and mushroom curry only to find they don’t do pork, WTF. I should have just left it there and not bothered. The special fried rice was bland, full of some weird colour egg, and carrots. Crispy chilli beef was flavourless. The wife hated it. The pancake rolls were disgraceful. I seriously could have done better myself so will definately not be ordering from here again. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Ordered on line from Chinese Kitchen web site 1/08/2018 order processed, money taken through paypal, email arrived confirming the order. Later I recieved a phone call from a man saying they were closed and his boss had asked him to phone me even though it was his day off. I asked for a refund and was told to go to paypal. I checked paypal the money had been taken £26, I phoned the shop, the person answering the call was confused about which shop i had ordered from and sounded remarkably similar to the man who had phoned me earlier. I demanded my money back, he said he would have a word with the boss. Later I recieved a refund through paypal. Never again.

So I’ve only order twice from this place, on both occasions the food was very average, more recently I ordered a soup and so fries, not only did it take 2.5 hours to be delivered, it was the wrong soup and as always whenever you call them they never answer, Don’t waste your money or Time ordering from these.

Food was great, really yummy. Would want to order again for the food. We had duck/pancakes and a super sharing combo thing (loads of different starters). The problems were with the delivery, which I paid £2 for. I ordered just after 9pm and it didn't get delivered until quarter to 11pm. I was told initially that deliver time was 10pm. I was not alerted it would be any later, I had to go back on to the site and check the order status myself to realise the ETA had changed to 10.30pm. Then it just didn't arrive till quarter to. If I'd known it would take this long, I would've gone elsewhere. Also, the hoisin sauce had spilled out of it's container and over the sides (and INTO one) dishes. When I took anything out of the bag, hoisin sauce poured all over my floor. Considering I'd been waiting nearly two hours, I wanted to eat straight away, not clean up first. Surely the delivery man noticed it was pouring out over the bag and dishes, but he didn't say anything.

Plus point: Shredded beef was great. They even did it without chillis (for my little one). Negative points: All the rest I ordered was really poor. Satay chicken was very weak and not really peanutty. Spring rolls were almost empty. Seaweed was rubbery and not crunchy. S&S Chicken HK Style was weak on taste. Mixed veg rice was poor.. the veg were mostly green bean pods and chunks of cabbage. I'd normally expect more and smaller veg inc Broccoli. It was actually the worst Chinese I've had that I can remember. Obviously a lot could be down to personal taste. I'll not be ordering again.
